    Loren Seagraves taught me to place a plastic bottle on the back pedal. The cue was to have athlete hear a quick crush of the bottle. That helped with utilizing the back pedal.

    When you say "you want to be open"... I don't quite understand what you mean. Any help would be appreciated

      Angles of legs in blocks OPEN.. 90 degrees for back leg. More for front. Closed angles aren’t as strong or explosive.
