My aunties were all married between 15 - 17 to escape their abusive home that claimed to be Christian. Nalia, what you did is amazing. I hope we can see a similar law passed here in Ontario, Canada.

All forced marriage girls need to know, is as you have to go through security, alert somebody at security. They are actually trained to recognise this and act. You will be whisked away for "further security". Nobody else will be allowed anywhere near you.

I’m married to a Asian guy & I’m so shocked at some of the things when it comes to marriage & what she is saying about being promised it’s mind blowing to me because I’m English & marrying your cousin is just not something that happens in our culture I’m sure you could possibly go to prison for things like that, but it’s totally normal for them , I had one of my brother in laws saying one day my daughter will marry your son & visa versa & I said over my dead body & now we haven’t spoken to each other for years & it can stay that way, thank you for sharing your story 😊

NO Adult...No Matter What their Profession...
NO matter what title they hold...
    NO Matter What economic Status,...
    NO Matter What their Culture...
NO Matter what race, Creed, or Color...
NO ADULT wheather, they are a Adult Caretaker of children, teacher, parents, aunts, uncles, or anyone else, should have any sexual attraction to children, this is very disturbing to me, Very Strange, Odd, Demented, Sick, Weird, and Outrageous to me.
*THERE IS NOTHING about a child, male, or female is attractive sexually, Nothing
*Children are children as should be treated as such.
    *They are NOT mature
*They have NO COMPREHENSION of Sex.
They have NO COMPREHENSION of Romance
*Sex and intimacy is in nature biologically is designed for Adults,
    NOT CHILDREN.
I Cannot Comprehend any Adult thinking of a child a such a inappropriate manner.
    *This is a previous response I wrote to an article on Child Marriage;
I don't understand why anyone would attempt to marry a child, this is unthinkable, children are not capable of Romantic Relationships, they cannot process adult Relationship lifestyles.
*They are children and function as children, they are being placed, and forced in adult Relationship situations, and they cannot process nor understand it until they are Adults.
*Nothing about a child is capable of handling a Romantic Relationships, Physical Relationships, Mentality handling Adult Relationships, and Lifestyles and financial matters.
*A Child cannot understand the Deeper Matters of the Hearts, or
    Deep involved Love connections etc.
*So, it baffles me to think any man would be interested in a relationship with a child.
*Why not choose an Adult Woman who is matured in Mind, Body, and Spirit, intelligence...?
*I could NEVER be attracted to s child.
*(I have NEVER, NEVER BEEN attracted to a child nor teenager male or female)
*Children need to be focused on getting their early childhood education, and growing up around other children and playing with other children.
*I cannot fathom why a man would be interested in a Child as a Bride,( or any intimate sexual manner whatsoever)
Sexual attraction towards a child is Madness, and Unnatural, and Demented thinking
*A Child could NEVER appreciate Romance, Poems, Dinning, or a Dinner date etc.
Really! marry a child...this makes No sense to me!
(I have NEVER, NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN attracted to a child nor teenager male or female)
    This is beyond my comprehension.......

@Raza Mughal cousin marriage is allowed but not encouraged. It's scientifically proven that offspring of cousins are mentally and physically ill after an extent. When you willingly marry your cousin, knowing that your child may suffer because of your genes and actions is just evil. If you're the only one who is marrying your cousin in your Gen, that's okay. But if every cousin marries every other cousin, then it'll surely result in disabled children

They could have shook hands, just a bit weird and a bit too close for my liking 7:38. Sometimes people in power act all innocent. But glad she survived.

Found this online, it was her uncle who called the US authority about her case.
"I had an uncle who understood how I felt, and was very sympathetic towards me and my situation. He helped me call my social worker from when I was in the foster care system to seek help to come home. I escaped with help from the U.S. State Department, and my mother was arrested upon arrival at JFK for kidnapping. Without the help that was available to me because of my prior circumstances as a foster child, I would have had an extremely difficult time returning to the United States on my own. That was my ticket out."
