Yes... it saddens me greatly that people are still stuck in the mindset that "you're not allowed to like dragonforce because they did songs for a videogame" thing. As someone who actually didn't discover them through guitar hero, i've always really enjoyed their rather unique take on how to structure guitar solos. In fact, i wouldn't really call them solos, since there is this wall of sound accompanying them, owing to the vocals and synthesizer - not unlike what pink floyd does during their "guitar solos" - which helps give direction to the melody, so *they're not just random notes on a scale, played in a technically impressive manner* . Improvising in itself is not that difficult to do as a musician, but improvising in a way that fits in not just with the song, but that evokes the same kind of feeling that the pre-arranged version does is nearly impossible to capture live and improvised. This is why "good" improv. jazz musicians are highly respected (and elitist, unfortunately).
I do have a proper HD rip of the original stream... however, it's on a computer in storage, that I don't see being able to access anytime soon. In the meantime, I'm okay without seeing an idiot throw his beer at Yui 3:56 in HD.

A recent seiyuu and friend of Yui said that Yui joined in on her Livestream. Lol sucks to not know, but it's cool that she was able to disappear, if that's what she wanted.
