BABYMETAL’s 1st Album including 2 bonus tracks will be released in Europe via earMUSIC ( www.ear-music.net/en/news/ ).
The album will be released in Germany, Sweden, Finland and Spain on May 29th, in the United Kingdom, France,Belgium, Holland, Poland, Switzerland, Norway and Denmark on June 1st, and in Italy on June 2nd!!
The European release will be available as the Standard Edition as well as a Deluxe Edition that includes a bonus DVD compiling 6 music videos from BABYMETAL.

Formed in 2010. Their major debut single “ Ijme, dame, zettai" along with 2nd single “Megistune" both ranked in the Top 10 Oricon chart in Japan. In March 2014, they took to the stage of Nippon Budokan for a 2-Days gig making them the youngest female act to ever perform there. Their 1st studio album BAYBMETAL made it into the US Billboard chart. In summer of the same year, they embarked on their first World Tour, performing on the Main Stage at UK’s prodigious festival Sonisphere Festival 2014 in front of 65,000 festival goers, and supporting Lady Gaga on her “ArtRave: The Artpop Ball” 2014 Tour. In fall they were back for additional headline shows in Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City and O2 Academy Brixton, London. The singer's stamina and technique is underappreciated. Given that she's young, she's singing some insanely high open vowels while dancing her ass off for a whole concert. Her singing technique is rock solid. Probably one of the most consistent live singers there are.
Most metal bands are being put to shame by their talent. Sucks they won't be around much longer.
I came back to this vid after watching fancams and proshots of her singing this at the forum in 2019 and she sounds even better there! She definitely honed her vocals a lot during the couple of years between this show and the forum. She probably sounded even better yet at 10 budokan in 2021 although I'm not sure if thats even possible haha. Can't wait for the bluray!

@Retarded Velociraptor They're not going anywhere. This was confirmed on Japanese tv (ZIP! news). They're just putting their live performances on hiatus because they can't do much with covid. They rely on touring to boost sales of their albums so without being able to tour they can't do much, unfortunately. At least they're most likely working on an album now as we speak!

I couldn't imagine performing in front of that many people. Hell, when I was their age, I hated doing speeches in front of the class back in school and that was maybe like 25 other kids...
ive done performances in front of a lot of people, it is nerve wrecking, but its not in the same way like doing speeches at all. i had no problem performing in front of others despite being nervous, but speeches is a whole nother thing

I was just mentioning something that I have personally dealt with. I'm no musician, never done any kind of performances, but just wanted to point out that I hated being the center of attention in front of 25 people and I couldn't imagine the anxiety I'd have in front of 20,000+. But I get what you're saying. A speech is about as simple as you talking to people. A performance can be anything from you singing with a band behind you or having 20 other people on that stage with you too. Big difference. I meant to point out not what you're doing, but how many people you're doing it in front of.... if that makes sense....
Well, they were already seasoned performers to that time. Suzuka performed on stage since about 8, I think, in Actor's School Hiroshima, other girls since 10 in Sakura Gakuin. Not on venues of such a scale, ofc, but still.

I might be willing to concede sweeps are a bit over used by some bands or artists these days, but i don't care, that's one of a number of reasons i enjoy the music. A song can be good or bad with or without sweeping.

That's Hideki Aoyama and he's incredibly talented as was his father Jun who was a famous drummer in his own right playing in a handful of very successful groups in Japan. Sadly Jun passed away in 2013 but not before seeing his son become a part of BM.
Like all the Kamis he pours his all into the band and loves being a part of it. You can always catch him not just lip-syncing but actually singing along with the girls. I forget which show it was but one time the bassist BOH looked over and laughed at him because he was singing so loud one of the cymbal mics was picking him up and BOH could hear him through his ear monitor. The Kamis are all incredibly talented and watching them evolve and become one group with the girls has been amazing. Fans love them as much as the girls and rightfully so.

RIP Mikio Fujioka who was Babymetals guitarist who died January 2018. And goodbye Yui Metal who left the group in October of 2018 due to illness.
New Babymetal fans don't know this. They think papaya is representive of Babymetal. I personally don't like their new material. But they are more successful now.

She didn't leave due to illness. Illness just kept her from a few live shows. But the reason behind Yui leaving was cause she wanted to pursue other ventures in her career.

It took 3 years to perfect this song..lyricists, composers, arrangers, choreographers, instrumentalists, producers, etc., it's a major team effort.
This is so unlike a traditional rock/metal band, where only 1 or 2 persons will create the song.
+LunaEclipse45 Its the work division, traditional band are self-made guy who get sucess, we expect them to be showman compose play and sing....but this band is produced in japan at a Professional level... its an other way to do music, all is think at all level. they have dedicated people for each task, , choregraph for crownd and dancer, song writer, pro musicians, pro idols, excellent com, photograph, i was stunned in festival, that was the only band who pushed so far the preparation:, instruments, video, music, distance on floor, all was checked during 30min.

I Love listening to classic Cradle Of Filth songs like "Nymphetamine", "Her Ghost In The Fog", and Lord Abortion while under the influence of substances such as THC, Psilocybin, and LSA. So I would Imagine that hearing songs like this while coming back from a DMT Trip could be quite exciting if not relaxing.

That everything work on time is only possible, if the actors put their music exactly on the timecode. Usually it is the drummer who has an in ear plus so he can hear a 1/4 "tick-tack-tack-tack". The Music is live, the shor is "playback"
The epic moments for this live song were Su’s command to split the crowd in the beginning. And when the song starts with the energetic machine gun double pedal drumming suddenly the circle was made by the crowd. Crazy. And this live version is the best so far
Man you can definitely hear Herman's influence, the band is just amazing, the back up vocals and dancers are perfect and the main vocalist's energy God!!!!!!!

They are also the one who played the guitar part on the studio album _(not the live version)_

I saw Babymetal in Hamburg on Tour with Sabaton, I guess the most people there had no Idea who they where, but after the first few songs the whole Crowd was escalating. It was a great Show and I dont know how I dont discover them earlier
i also saw them in vienna and they will be having a europe and uk tour i'll probaly see them again
People dont discover them easily because their marketing team is kinda not so good
When I saw babymetal at Reading festival I was worried some people in the crowd might be mean because most of them were there to see Metallica and didn't know who Babymetal were. but omg they had everyone singing along. Not to mention the pits were huge. They somehow captivate any audience they are faced with. Safe to say I was very emotional, I love these girls so much.

I was really surprised by a wall of death that early in the day (well it was a tad half hearted, but still) and the rest of the day was honestly a bit of a let down. I knew reading would be weird as I only knew a few bands, but they truly made it worth the money
