This is the number one cultural song. Straight outta Griga. My big brother Reptile sings this song. R. I.P Rep. even though they didn’t want to acknowledge you, but the proof is in the pudding. This song is always going to be number one, because it plays every holiday.especially Christmas. Wasati bemeri íbu. Gone way too soon Reptile. Buítitibu buidubei bameragu. Yara seiri.
Wow!! another delightful music from Belize, the horns and drumming is simply catching. What does the song mean ?? the two Cow song ? history, culture, folklore ? Listening from Lagos, Nigeria on Jan 1st 2019. great. Wow diasporian music.
@@dr.patrickijewere6855 some elements of what Qtee is saying is correct however, the Creoles are not "indigenous" to Belize. Only the Mayans can claim such. The genre of music is known as "punta rock" and it is indigenous to the nation of Belize. It has spread to neighboring countries in central America however, Belizeans originated " Punta Rock". The Creoles in Belize originated a genre known as Belizeans "Brukdown" not Soca! The group seen here in this video comprises of Garifuna men from southern Belize most of whom are pioneers of Belizeans punta rock. The song itself is just a humorous tale that describes a dual between the hunter (the man with the machete) and the hunted (the two footed cow) . Only in Belize will you ever find two footed cows😂. Hope that helps.
