Logicsick nah not true, the achievement came out when the legendary map pack came out. On the vanilla game from 2007 the vidmasters were non existent (Bungie never implied from the beginning that recon would be obtainable)
I am quite positive the ghost is in it. I paused it a split second after the cutscene was onscreen in slow mo, you can slightly see the very back of the ghost go into the forward unto dawns hanger. Try it yourself
Since the cutscene will place a warthog in frame even if it's only a single person making the jump in a non-warthog vehicle, I'm guessing it just delays the cutscene to try and clear the original vehicles from the frame and then spawns in a new one. If you look closely you can see the vehicles clip straight through the Forward Unto Dawn, so you'd never be able to actually see them in the next frame of the cutscene, Which might even take place in a separate location. If this is true it'd explain why you never see Johnson in the last cutscene even if you bring him with you in the warthog

neither the Ghost NOR the warthog actually shows up in the final cutscene. Why? Because that's not your friends warthog.. the ghost and the warthog already cleared the shot. It's only because you fell slightly behind that you showed up in the cutscene at all. That's actually a 2nd warthog it seems. It looks like the devs manifest a 2nd one after you make the jump a bit behind you, to get that perfect jump in the cutscene. If you notice your jump, your friends hog was at the start of the pack. Here the phantom hog is the last one in. Sp00ky
I have the same OCD with keeping the vehicle as healthy as possible, but even moreso I try to finish with max ammo max grenades at all points possible, to the point where I've finished and have no enemies left... (example two betrayals in Halo CE) so I go refill my rocket launcher and shotgun ammo before walking into the beam. I dunno why I just do. The only time I'm not like that is with missions like the library where I dash for the end cause that's all you can do.
Yea generalkidd. Also are you doing the glitches on the Xbox 360 live.And i have halo 3,halo 3 ODST,halo reach,and halo 4 but it has a marking close to the edge in a circle but it was in my xbox 360 but it would not work anymore so the only ones that work is halo 3,odst,and halo reach
I'm guilty of the same crime. i mean, I won't revert a save, unless it's like in the mission to destroy swordbase, where here's only one scorpion. If there isn't another vehicle of the same kind, I'll revert, but I try to keep my vehicles in as good a condition as possible.

Generalkidd... I was playing some halo 2 (Normal and MCC) and on the last level sometimes you can pickup Tartarus's gravity hammer, it's a rare glitch because if any skulls, checkpoints were used then it will not work and you have to kill Tartarus really fast. It happened to me first on the original halo 2 but it also happened three other times in halo 2 (Halo mcc) in the old graphics. When the glitch happens the mission's ending cutscene will be delayed if the glitch is activated, I'm not sure if rally points can be used but all the times I did the glitch it was from mission start and it was using the original halo 2 graphics. if you could look into this it would be great.
IDK if anyone noticed but just before you jump into the forward unto dawn, there is a grunt Easter egg just passed those two rocks by the time you reach it

The reason the ghosts were there is because there is an achievement that required you to beat the game on legendary with 4 people all in ghosts.

It is a dynamic cutscene. All Halo cutscenes are dynamic so that means whatever you leave in the background will appear in the cutscene
