It's made of a fictional metal and Captain America is insanely strong, which scales with his spirit. In Winter Soldier he can barely stop the Helicopter from leaving but in Infinity War he is able to go blow for blow with Thanos and even manages to completely stop his hand, something that not even Thor or the Hulk could do.
I saw the footage just because the shield was able to withstand a blow from the hammer doesn't make it a better weapon the hammer can conduct and send electricity and allow the wielder to fly as well as restrain a foe (thor restrains loki first movie) the hammer is far more powerful and versatile weapon which is what the video was about
You definitely missed one out, for sure, especially if you're counting any of Iron Man's armors or Captain America's shield, and that is Black Panther's armor. Sure, we haven't gotten a full taste of it yet, but the entire thing is made from the same material as CapAm's shield (Vibranium), which basically means his armor (From head to toe, mind you) is capable of absorbing energy and even repelling it back at the enemy just like CapAm's shield. Not only that, but the claws, which are also made of Vibranium, are capable of shredding basically any metal on earth. Thanks to his Wakandan knowledge and the resources of the Wakandan people, Black Panther's suit is truly a marvel and one of the most powerfully created things in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It's not as durable as caps shield, we have seen his suit get teared apart almost as much as Iron man's. His suit is more spandexy if you know what I mean, not as tough and rugged.

This is so short that i'm somewhat dissapointed. Captain America's shield is made from a mixture of adamantium and vibranium. That is the only reason it could withstand a blow from Mjolnir, since vabranium is an allien metal that's possibly on par with Mjolnir; which is made from uru metal, which is most likely the strongest metal in the universe. Not only that, but a cosmic force so powerfull it came in the form of a universal storm that destroyed planets; was inprisoned inside Mjolnir by Odin who coudn't defeat nor control the storm. Even in the hammer, Odin could still not controll the hammer; because it was too powerfull. So he enchanted it, so only people the hammer finds worthy can lift it. This would have been more intresting than "it can make lighting".

Pym Particles are more powerful than everything else on your list combined. Consider that you can reduce yourself to atomic size, for example, and physically start ripping atoms apart with your hands to create a fission chain reaction. You could reduce Captain America's shield to the size of a drink coaster and make it completely useless or enlarge it to the size of skyscraper and protect an entire crowd of people. And just imagine if Ant Man decided on a more permament solution to dealing with enemies: reduce them to the size of a bug and just step on them.
Couldn't do that to Cap's shield because as far as I know, it'd basically say "Fuck you" and stay exactly like it is. It takes shattering physics to fuck with his shield. Additionally, anything reduced in size by pym particles mysteriously gain proportional strength because they don't lose any mass. IE, the smaller you make something, the stronger it gets. Which is the entire reason Wasp can still physically hit hard enough to matter, not including her stingers. Thirdly, if you *did* reduce someone else' size with pym particles, because of the aforementioned strength increase, they could literally catch your foot, and depending on how strong they were beforehand, possibly throw you instead. Fourthly, They are, in literally no way, better than the infinity stones. The infinity stones are the literal 'I Win' button of the Marvel Universe. The literal only reason Thanos ever loses when he has them is he doesn't believe he deserves to win at the deepest core of his being, so the gems make sure he loses. Otherwise? He can, and has, wiped out an entire galaxy worth of life with a thought.
In the comics, they actually use Pym Particles to create a prison for super-criminals (the Big House) by shrinking them to a few inches in height so that even if they escape, they're mostly helpless. Clearly it's possible to shrink someone _without_ giving them proportional strength, or the Big House would be worse than pointless. As for the Infinity Stones, yes, they're probably more powerful overall in the hands of the right user than Pym Particles, but the creative potential for Pym Particles means they have the _potential_ for allowing you to defeat or even kill someone using the Infinity Gauntlet. For instance, you can shrink yourself to subatomic size, pass right through any force fields or armour, travel into the gauntlet-wielder's brain, and then grow yourself to the size of a pea to give them a massive stroke. In fact, Jean Loring did just that to Sue Dibny using the Atom's size belt.

And the moment you did that to someone with the infinity gauntlet a mere flicker of thought undoes it and possibly does worse to you. Shrink to the size of a quark holding onto a bowling ball, fly into Thanos' head, then unshrink the bowling ball. Instant death. But Pym Particles allow you to do a LOT more than just kill people directly. Think of Tony Stark or Doctor Doom being able to physically arrange quarks into quantum-scale computers and machinery. You could construct weaponry the size of a solar system -- and wear it. Or take your super-telepath, someone like Jean Grey or Charles Xavier, and reduce the person to the size of an electron. Their powers are not based on scale, so they retain the same power level but are now completely invisible and completely impervious to harm. The fact is, Pym Particles are so ridiculously overpowered that no writer could ever afford to allow any character to exploit them to their full potential. Think about a quantum-scaled Quicksilver disassembling someone in the blink of an eye into component atoms. Think about an ant-sized Punisher strolling around New York and crawling unseen into the ear or nose of every crime lord, dropping thermite grenades into their brains. As far as this list is concerned, you have to go right to #1 and pick _the most powerful objects in the entire Universe_ to find something which _might_ protect you from someone with access to Pym Particles. Whether or not Pym Particles should be #1 is debatable (as we're proving), but they definitely belong on the list.

Maybe in the MCU. In the comics however it is actually the strongest material in the entirety of Marvel. It has the energy absorbing qualities of vibranium with the invincibility of adamantium meaning in order to break it you must first have the strength to break true adamantium (nearly infinite), and while doing so have the strength to overcome the vibraniums energy absorbing effect. In the comics when the caps shield breaks that means you are getting into some cosmic entity level shit. is it a powerful weapon. no its a shield its not supposed to be offensive. but is it a powerful item, id say an unbreakable shield is pretty powerful.

Compared to the Norse mythology Thor, marvel Thor kinda sucks. Mjolnir is stronger and gungnir can't miss its target. Nether weapons where enchanted by Odin, but they where enchanted by the......I think the dwarfs who made them. I love the Thor movies but the stories of Norse mythology are so much better. For example the warlord Tyr had a much bigger role and is a bad ass, in Ragnorok he was able to defeat the worst of all beast with only one hand. Though he also died in the battle, its just one of many examples of how dank the Norse gods are compared to the marvel interpretation.

Cap's shield is a glorified frisbee, just like Ultron said. Just because Thor can't smash through vibranium with a blunt object, doesn't make that object super powerful. I presume that the MCU doesn't the X-Men or the FF universes so I'll ignore that but the Darkhold has shown up in this season of Agents of Shield and that certainly belongs on this list. Two iron man suits is also kind of a waste but I suppose the movies and shows have left us with a very limited Marvel Universe to draw from. As for the Infinity gauntlet, yeah, that one should be on top of the list since it makes the wearer more powerful than the dumb-4$$ writers who conceived it. The only reason it withstood Thor's swing is because it's made out of a vibranium steel alloy. You pronounce the abbreviation etc. slightly wrong. You say "eczetera". Now, etc. is short for he latin term "et cetera" and would be pronounced "etzetera". No "c" between "e" and "t". Oh, and if you are interested in the original pronounciation of the word Mjolnir: In the original word, the letter o isn't pronounced like you are used to. In Winter Soldier he can barely stop the Helicopter from leaving but in Infinity War he is able to go blow for blow with Thanos and even manages to completely stop his hand, something that not even Thor or the Hulk could do.

You definitely missed one out, for sure, especially if you're counting any of Iron Man's armors or Captain America's shield, and that is Black Panther's armor.
Sure, we haven't gotten a full taste of it yet, but the entire thing is made from the same material as CapAm's shield (Vibranium), which basically means his armor (From head to toe, mind you) is capable of absorbing energy and even repelling it back at the enemy just like CapAm's shield.
Not only that, but the claws, which are also made of Vibranium, are capable of shredding basically any metal on earth. Thanks to his Wakandan knowledge and the resources of the Wakandan people, Black Panther's suit is truly a marvel and one of the most powerfully created things in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It's not as durable as caps shield, we have seen his suit get teared apart almost as much as Iron man's. His suit is more spandexy if you know what I mean, not as tough and rugged.

This is so short that i'm somewhat dissapointed. Captain America's shield is made from a mixture of adamantium and vibranium. That is the only reason it could withstand a blow from Mjolnir, since vabranium is an allien metal that's possibly on par with Mjolnir; which is made from uru metal, which is most likely the strongest metal in the universe. Not only that, but a cosmic force so powerfull it came in the form of a universal storm that destroyed planets; was inprisoned inside Mjolnir by Odin who coudn't defeat nor control the storm. Even in the hammer, Odin could still not controll the hammer; because it was too powerfull. So he enchanted it, so only people the hammer finds worthy can lift it. This would have been more intresting than "it can make lighting".
Ain't no adamantium in the MCU. The shield is pure vibranium.

Pym Particles are more powerful than everything else on your list combined. Consider that you can reduce yourself to atomic size, for example, and physically start ripping atoms apart with your hands to create a fission chain reaction. You could reduce Captain America's shield to the size of a drink coaster and make it completely useless or enlarge it to the size of skyscraper and protect an entire crowd of people. And just imagine if Ant Man decided on a more permament solution to dealing with enemies: reduce them to the size of a bug and just step on them.
what about superheros that have shrinking abilities?
Couldn't do that to Cap's shield because as far as I know, it'd basically say "Fuck you" and stay exactly like it is. It takes shattering physics to fuck with his shield.
Additionally, anything reduced in size by pym particles mysteriously gain proportional strength because they don't lose any mass. IE, the smaller you make something, the stronger it gets. Which is the entire reason Wasp can still physically hit hard enough to matter, not including her stingers.
Thirdly, if you *did* reduce someone else' size with pym particles, because of the aforementioned strength increase, they could literally catch your foot, and depending on how strong they were beforehand, possibly throw you instead.
Fourthly, They are, in literally no way, better than the infinity stones. The infinity stones are the literal 'I Win' button of the Marvel Universe. The literal only reason Thanos ever loses when he has them is he doesn't believe he deserves to win at the deepest core of his being, so the gems make sure he loses. Otherwise? He can, and has, wiped out an entire galaxy worth of life with a thought.
In the comics, they actually use Pym Particles to create a prison for super-criminals (the Big House) by shrinking them to a few inches in height so that even if they escape, they're mostly helpless. Clearly it's possible to shrink someone _without_ giving them proportional strength, or the Big House would be worse than pointless.
As for the Infinity Stones, yes, they're probably more powerful overall in the hands of the right user than Pym Particles, but the creative potential for Pym Particles means they have the _potential_ for allowing you to defeat or even kill someone using the Infinity Gauntlet. For instance, you can shrink yourself to subatomic size, pass right through any force fields or armour, travel into the gauntlet-wielder's brain, and then grow yourself to the size of a pea to give them a massive stroke. In fact, Jean Loring did just that to Sue Dibny using the Atom's size belt.
NoJusticeNoPeace or they used comic book logic and just handwaved away that the entire point of pym particles is to keep the same mass, and therefore gain proportional strength.
And the moment you did that to someone with the infinity gauntlet a mere flicker of thought undoes it and possibly does worse to you. That's all it would take. a quick moment, a thought of 'fix it' and the problem never existed.
Shrink to the size of a quark holding onto a bowling ball, fly into Thanos' head, then unshrink the bowling ball. Instant death. But Pym Particles allow you to do a LOT more than just kill people directly. Think of Tony Stark or Doctor Doom being able to physically arrange quarks into quantum-scale computers and machinery. You could construct weaponry the size of a solar system -- and wear it. Or take your super-telepath, someone like Jean Grey or Charles Xavier, and reduce the person to the size of an electron. Their powers are not based on scale, so they retain the same power level but are now completely invisible and completely impervious to harm.
The fact is, Pym Particles are so ridiculously overpowered that no writer could ever afford to allow any character to exploit them to their full potential. Think about a quantum-scaled Quicksilver disassembling someone in the blink of an eye into component atoms. Think about an ant-sized Punisher strolling around New York and crawling unseen into the ear or nose of every crime lord, dropping thermite grenades into their brains. As far as this list is concerned, you have to go right to #1 and pick _the most powerful objects in the entire Universe_ to find something which _might_ protect you from someone with access to Pym Particles. Whether or not Pym Particles should be #1 is debatable (as we're proving), but they definitely belong on the list.

Maybe in the MCU. In the comics however it is actually the strongest material in the entirety of Marvel. It has the energy absorbing qualities of vibranium with the invincibility of adamantium meaning in order to break it you must first have the strength to break true adamantium (nearly infinite), and while doing so have the strength to overcome the vibraniums energy absorbing effect. In the comics when the caps shield breaks that means you are getting into some cosmic entity level shit. is it a powerful weapon. no its a shield its not supposed to be offensive. but is it a powerful item, id say an unbreakable shield is pretty powerful.

Compared to the Norse mythology Thor, marvel Thor kinda sucks. Mjolnir is stronger and gungnir can't miss its target. Nether weapons where enchanted by Odin, but they where enchanted by the......I think the dwarfs who made them. I love the Thor movies but the stories of Norse mythology are so much better. For example the warlord Tyr had a much bigger role and is a bad ass, in Ragnorok he was able to defeat the worst of all beast with only one hand. Though he also died in the battle, its just one of many examples of how dank the Norse gods are compared to the marvel interpretation.
And yet, Stark's upgrade for Mark XVL (the one from CW), was easily busted by Captain America (a man), so would it be actually a downgrade?

- captain america's shield.
- lets just fill the other 7 slots with pretty much any magical artifact.

A shield is more powerful than Thors hammer? Thats beyond stupid. Its a shields??!!!???! Ok it can block attacks and can be thrown...OK Thats great. Can it create forcefields? Teleport? Fire energy blasts? Shall I go on? LMAO!!
Cap's shield is a glorified frisbee, just like Ultron said. Just because Thor can't smash through vibranium with a blunt object, doesn't make that object super powerful. I presume that the MCU doesn't the X-Men or the FF universes so I'll ignore that but the Darkhold has shown up in this season of Agents of Shield and that certainly belongs on this list. Two iron man suits is also kind of a waste but I suppose the movies and shows have left us with a very limited Marvel Universe to draw from. As for the Infinity gauntlet, yeah, that one should be on top of the list since it makes the wearer more powerful than the dumb-4$$ writers who conceived it. Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent... but not smart enough to PIN-lock it so your rebellious kid can't undo all you have wrought. (see the infinity story form the comics)
Howard stark should on here. He made Iron man, Gave the roids to Captain America to make him and also his shield. Hes like directly responsible for 3 entries on this list. hulk buster armor, mark45 and the shield.

with your decision to make cap's shield seem more powerful than Mjölnir? The only reason it withstood Thor's swing is because it's made out of a vibranium steel alloy. From the wiki:
"It is able to absorb all kinetic energy and transfers very little energy
from each impact, meaning Captain America does not feel recoil or
transferred impact forces from blocking attacks. These physical
properties also means the shield can bounce off of most smooth surfaces,
ricocheting multiple times with minimal loss in aerodynamic stability

allowing Captain America to land safely even when jumping off of several
stories."
"A common misconception is that the shield can "magically" return to Captain America. The thing is that Captain America's shield while it can withstand a whole lot of force it's really quite useless to anyone other than Captain America. It can only deflect shit so making it a contender for the "most powerful items in the MCU" is just silly.
Does the "most powerful" character, item, animal, ... mean something in Marvel ? You can have something that annihilates reality itself and in another issue they introduce a whole different dimension where every stone is thousands of times more powerful.
When I came into this video, I thought that each infinity stone would be counted separately, as some are more powerful than others. Knowing for a fact that Cap's Shield and Mjolnir would be there too, I thought the remaining three were the Arc Reactor, GH 325, and Vibranium.

Yep he's has a masters degree in English just so his grammar is on flek, for criticism against Hollywood and his little baby mock WWE to make a living in the process. As usual, a very entertaining and well researched list. Yet, the word Mjolnir isn't the only thing thats a little difficult to pronounce. I've come across this in one of your previous videos, too. You pronounce the abbreviation etc. slightly wrong. You say "eczetera". Now, etc. is short for he latin term "et cetera" and would be pronounced "etzetera". No "c" between "e" and "t". Oh, and if you are interested in the original pronounciation of the word Mjolnir: In the original word, the letter o isn't pronounced like you are used to. Its actually pronounced like the letter "e" in the word "nerf", or at least similar to it. Just trying to help ;)

That's alright, Adam. I normally just call it Thor's Hammer, but in my case, never could remember the other name. And in case by some off beat chance, Linkara should see this video, should point out that, yes, in the movies, that list was correct as who lift it, but in comics, many more, including, hey, Captain America, yeah, he did in the comics, and though she picked it up decided not to use it, for a moment Wonder Woman did in the DC VS Marvel crossover comic.

we see an infinity gauntlet at Odin's vault which might either be for show, making Odin super pretentious and dumb or it could be the counterpart of the gauntlet with Thanos. So if there are two infinity gauntlets are there a total of 12 infinity stones?!?!?!?!?!
