    Ha! It was good seeing the old garage again... pretty neat vid, Taylor. I suppose you had to work pretty fast back then due to the day job! 🏍👍🏍

      Only got to work on it on nights and weekends. Build took close to a year of I remember right. Now I get to build all day!

    Watched another video where your clutch plates are sticking on the hard tail. When stored, place a bolt in the clutch lever to hold open the clutch and your sticking plates problem will go away. It works great, but I have to give credit to the legendary Chris Baucom for teaching me this one.

    Hi Brother, I'm wondering if you've ever tried EFI on a CB550 or any other old Carb bike? I live in Colorado where the elevation changes drastically depending on where I'm going. EFI would help a lot but i cant find a lot of good information on how to do it for these bikes. Hope this post meets you well. Love all your work, been studying all your videos so i can work on my own bike.

    Any chance of sharing a wiring diagram of the build with m unit?

    • @bradlrich
      @bradlrich 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would be amazing. In the middle of a triumph build now would love to try the M Unit.

    I have a 73 tr7rv . thinking about doing the same. Where did you get the hardtail section from? Is it a 650 hard tail? Thanks

    Cool trip down memory lane, love this bike. How are you enjoying owning/riding it?

    • @ClassicOctane
      @ClassicOctane  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t ride it as much as I used to. But I sure love looking at it in the shop.

      Classic Octane well, that’s too bad, but I agree, it’s fantastic decor for the man cave.

    Fun way to revisit this build! Noticed you haven't used your Harbor Freight bandsaw much since this Triumph. Any thoughts on that tool?

      It started sparking and almost caught my old garage on fire. 0 stars.

    I love it when rebuild videos dont take 25+ episodes. You just get to see most of it in one go. Great job man 👍

    Why don't you put the whole engine in a new bobber frame in first place....what kind of hardtail mess is this? 😂 Be real ..its been 5 years now...please reply now... I know you have progressed in this work....but that was a timepass mess... isn't it??
