I'm getting ready to start college but I was homeschooled and never really did much math, because the system I used focused way more on language, and I might have dyscalculia .. so I'm terrified. This is very very helpful. Thank you so much, Mike.

X is a variable or unknown .
Variables stand in the place of numbers.
Variables are usually written as letters.

When I was school 🏫 i never have the privilege to read writers and math or anything I was in the special education program for people have trouble learning I never learned anything in school I wanted to learn so bad but never have that chance and I want to make it up for lost time and go school it gonna be a challenge for me especially all the things I should learn but I want to do something new for me wish me luck everyone

I had been with Algebra all my life, there and here, and never been bored. It's exciting, and wake me up. So I'm thinking teach to the kids. It's amazing. A good teacher make it easier, but if you are a good teacher too, you can teach others. I bet 100% my skills will get better and strongest.
I'm not that bad in math. My only problem is assignments and test taking. I have an issue where I would write the answer, thinking it's wrong I correct them only to find out that my original answers I corrected was right. SO backwards!

I’m watching this as a refresher for an assessment and honestly I’ve never understood math better than after watching this. I struggle with math but this honestly feels so much more simple even though it’s the same math I learned years ago

Yeah, you have to pay attention to key words because the narrator talks either too fast or doesn't emphasize a sentence to highlight a key step in solving a problem. They speak in the same tone as if they're just telling a friend a story or like a regular conversation.
