Hi, I've been playing BellWright as well, on you tip for villagers reading books, you don't have to put them in their inventory, as long as it is in your inventory you can get them to read one from anywhere on the map. Nice job on these videos keep it up.
Thank you for the work you put into these videos (and into the game obviously ;) ). May I suggest you add chapters/timestamps to the video so the viewer can quickly jump to the topic they are interested in? Thanks again!
i hope they will once implement an recruitment window at each city to see all recruitable people at once with their stats, looking for good ones one by one is terrible
When you were dying with the high level armour you would have won if you ate the right food, you had all veg (stamina boost) if you had eaten all meats (HP boost) then your HP bar would have been double and woulda won ; )
I didn’t think this game would be good but it really has some potential fixing combat getting horses would be really nice mostly combat is what I don’t enjoy the issue with it is that it is too realistic and former or current soldiers can tell you real combat is not fun I understand they want realism but at some point you gotta say this is a game it’s supposed to be fun not frustrating
how do you keep your companions from attacking bandits???? I am at the very beginning where you recruit the hunter who doesn't want to help the city of Hearndean... So I am taking him back to where I have my camp built, but I have to pass bandits, and my companion keeps pulling away from me and attacks them,
Ive heard that villagers from your town will travel to put items in those vaults and granary. There is no way to keep them from doing so. That is a big downfall in my opinion.
Thanks i just unlock those and was taking my time just building on my secondary base and saw a video on that from someone else about that bug! I was going to build both to see what they did for the village if anything was implemented for those to do, like the archery and meele building you build for towns, they don't do anything just yet!
I have had the granary, storage, barracks, and archery range in four liberated towns and so far no villagers have brought anything over to the storage, but none of the towns guards have upgraded either. Currently, I have been stocking up the storage with better weapons and armor to see if the townsfolk will equip them but no luck so far. I’ve put better food in the granary to see if the villagers will eat the food as well for better stats, but they do not. I hope they fix this in a patch soon, I’m guessing the intention is to not run around protecting every liberated town for the entirety of the game lol.

Yeah the stews and other meaty dishes make a big difference

Yeah you've just got to arm villagers like crazy and take them with you rather than being daft and playing like me 😂

Especially when you consider that the lowlands is only the first of 5 regions! @@Dr_Jones_Gaming
They might have fixed that bug. It was a huge problem for a while
