There's a difference between being great and putting up great numbers. This dude been in the league for 21 yrs now. Has 4 ring, 4! And that's while recruiting the entire damn justice league to play alongside of him. All while Jordan had a Robin. Who averaged 16 points for his career lol....
I have never seen someone do less with more and get so much praise. He needs to retire. Ain't no CFL's up in here. Just a bunch of guys who want to see good hoops. Not this watered down crap we have now. Antman is 1 of the few players in the league worth paying attention to now. At least he cares.
But I digress, it's just basketball..... right?

~ I was a fan of basketball shortly after the merger, I remember, as a young kid, Dr. J was the face of the league, then Bird, Magic arrived, then the historic 84’ draft.
There were already some great young players, (Isiah Thomas, Moses Malone ) and generational talents (Kareem)
None of those players, not one, including Jordan, made the focus about them.
They all spoke about “The Love of the Game of basketball “ about working hard to improve to live up to the standards of the past greats.
They talked about winning, and the process of building to that ultimate level of multi time Champion.
They played for the love of the game.
The fans, the OG fans such as myself, grew up way fans mimicking those players, not only in style of play, but the reverence for the game of basketball.
Sure we were “fans” of the players. But not in the since of being a “fan” boy where they could do no wrong, heck we weren’t even using the term GOAT for basketball players in the 80’s and it was the media, that started this trend in the latter part of the 80’s and into the 90’s.
But even the former greats, when asked these questions, would always bring it back to “The game of basketball “.
Even Wilt, Kareem, MJ himself were asked about who’s the greatest of all time. None of them were narcissistic enough to say they were the best.
Wilt averaged 50 a game, scored 100 points.
Kareem retired as a 6X MVP and all time leading scorer.
MJ resume we all know it.
Yet none of them ever spoke of themselves being the GOAT.
Younger generations of fans, led by Bron, are dumbed down by the media narratives, and the entitled, narcissistic players, and modern analytics, and no longer love the game, they love the players.
      The idolize them.
It is sad because Lebron set the example, he and his media cronies, have shifted the focus away from the “Love of the game”, to the love of me, stats, money, clout, “
It’s not just Bron, it’s the media who has glazed and propped him up since day 1.

Ok Anthony Davis played 40min had 17pts 4 assist 15 Rebs 8/11 from the field 3 blocks 2 turnovers 1/2 from FT line & his plus/minus was -4 for the game. Lakers lost the game by 2 pts 106 to 108)so how was Lebron not help to Anthony Davis? Be honest AD didn’t show up for the entire game 5 like he should’ve he started well but said he had a stinger from being hit by MPJ & he limped around in the 2nd half if he would’ve finished how he started then lakers would’ve easily forced a game 6 a lot of you may hate Lebron for whatever reasons you deem necessary but he didn’t have a bad game in the 5 games they played Denver both he & AD played well enough to beat the nuggets every game output wise except AD only 1 half in game 5. They just needed other players to step up it’s a team game AD & LBj both played well enough they need the proper supporting cast because they both outscored Murray & Jokic combined games 1 through 4 but AD gets hurt in game 5 or it would’ve been the same i think but LBJ & AD need a better supporting cast period & they can win it their not far off at all.

@@354allday I watched the series and I came to a different conclusion. The NBA was ready to crown Bron with another title but the Warriors and fate didn’t cooperate. The following season’s final was a testament to the Warriors going against the wishes of the league’s script until game 5 and beyond.
Getting back to 2015, there is no conceivable way that Igoudala was finals mvp over Curry. In a way giving it to Iggy was a consolation prize to Bron from the anonymous media members that vote for the award. It was a deliberate vote against Curry to deny him recognition as the vanquisher of Bron in the finals.

I commented once after they won game 4, that it was very doubtful they could win 3 more....for a total of 4 straight wins against the nuggets, a LeBron fan said "they don't need to win 3 games at once, just one game at a time" 🤣😂🤣 either way, I'm glad the playoffs won't have LeBron padding his stats...He will have to watch the playoffs from home 🤣😂🤣

This is the truth! When LeChoke was in high school, I was in my early 20s and living in the Youngstown, Ohio area, which is about 45 minutes from Akron, Ohio. So I know the real story behind these people! Rich Paul was a lowlife scammer, who was selling knock-off jerseys out of the trunk of his car. Brian Windhorst, the BIG LeChoke jock-sniffer on ESPN, went to Akron SVSM High School, same as LeChoke. He was a beat writer who covered LeChoke in high school for the Akron Beacon Journal. He then went to the Cleveland Plain Dealer to be a Cavs beat writer (wonder how that happened.) In 2010 when LeQuit ran to Miami, suddenly Windhorst, who was a virtual unknown, suddenly gets a job at ESPN and has been implanted there ever since by LeChoke to be a non-stop propaganda artist. This guy has never played a sport in his life besides pocket pool, but yet he's an "NBA Analyst???" Please. Just because he's shaped like a basketball, doesn't mean he knows the game!

When I think of LeBron, I think of a Crybaby, the Flopper, No Defensive Player, a Control Freak, and the only Killer instinct that he has is Killing the Coaches reparation if he can’t have his way. He’s a Jordan wanna -be when he’s not even on Kobe’s level. He ha s klutch Sport and his Media suck-ups talking about how great he is everyday, well anything talked about over and over could be believed, but no we saw it and we continue to see it And he no where near Kobe less on MJ. He should never be compared to them. He should be compared to Karl Malone for the strength not mentioning the alledged steroid use, and Magic for his Passing ability.And-he will always be remembered for those 6 Final losses and 2 of them he was Swept. Now what G.O.AT. has a resume like this. I’ll wait……. NONE. The Man need to Retire, Father Times has caught up with him. He’s beginning to look Old and it shows.

I appreciate that our guy won an award, but I was surprised having watched almost all the games that year.
