As a avid myth user I recommend not using minions. i just make a short yet strong deck and it usually gets the job done, but if you cant solo I highly recommend having someone too help with that fight. Much easier then trying with a minion

Mightyhulk1 kinda does, allows a place to put all items such as mounts in one spot while being nice enough to allow players to not have to purchase crowns to get some of the classic mounts as well as every house in the shop.
Yes they do but you still have to do something to get that for free -- but all you are investing is a little bit more time -- so if you play smart and learn how to play for free -- this game is completely free

Some things that bug me 1. when Ra uses his beam the sun isn't even lined up with the circle of his staff 2. When you afk for 20 minutes it forces you to completely restart the game 3. Warlords wurst got removed
The AFK thing is true, but you can avoid being kicked by pressing left arrow key + right arrow key + Ctrl, very quickly. You'll endlessly spin in place until you move again, and the game won't consider you AFK if you're gonna be away from the game
Jonas could you explain this to me? I see a ton of comments talking about how KI’s greedy and money hungry but I don’t see any proof to support the claim. They literally allow people to buy mounts for gold, and have quite often sales with 60 bucks a year memberships. Seems fairly generous to me.
@@mooseman2320 Because its advertised as free to play, but has like an hour of actual free areas. After that you have to either pay for a membership (the 60 usd for a year only shows up for a couple days every couple of months), and even when you do the area with membership, once it runs out, the area is locked out again. The only other way that you can get those areas unlocked is through crowns, which like maybe twice a year (it seems) they will do a sale, 1USD to 1k crowns. If you don't get it during a crowns sale, its much less "efficient" even at the highest cost (the more you pay, the more efficient USD to crowns conversion). They add packs where you can get better cards per pip than what you get in-game (even with grinding) that you have to gamble on getting said card through. As well as good weapons that give a may-cast (not available elsewhere, if i remember correctly), they also recently added spellements (allows you to upgrade low tier spells only, for now, with currently the only place to get those resources to get those spellement upgrades being RNG from those packs. They also recently changes pet hatching to be objectively worse than what it was before, increasing the amount per hatch drastically, increasing the hatch timer to 12-24 hours, and reducing the number of perks you can pick, so its harder to find what you want. At the same time they coincidentally added the option to purchase gold with crowns (if i remember right, the biggest gold "bundle" is just enough, or just about enough to do one hatch).
Also, remember that mounts with stats only work in the "open world" areas. They aren't usable for any fights that matter (aka boss fights where you go into a building or dungeon where you cant ride your mount). So you have to pay real money to get a (very very slight) stat boost that doesn't actually help in any places where you would want it to help.
Actually you do get the minor stat boost from the Mount as long as it's equipped when you enter a dungeon or something where you can't equip a mount. It's technically still equipped so the stat boost still applies.
What doesn't make sense: At the top of big ben tower when you're still relatively low level and only in marleybone, Malistaire, Meowiarty, a wooden clockwork, and a ghoul are all there. If Malistaire joins the fight it's easy game over and there's no way at level 20-30 you're beating him AND meowiarty. So why does he just... run away?
How about why some quests had to be redone. I recently beat Malistare but Ambrose had me give Bartleby another dose of that elixir that warns us about Malistare... When I just killed him. I then had to find Duncan Grimwater to see is Malistare is contacting him from the dead, and had to redo the quests that lead to the Kraken fight in Triton Avenue. The hell happened?
I just redid the Kraken fight in Triton too and I did that many years ago. Wasn't the process that they have to get to the Kraken way shorter than what we originally had to do?
This is because the new update redid a lot of the quest lines for the starting levels, so the game is giving you the opportunity to redo them and experience the new versions
I’ve been playing wizard101 about 13 years and the pet system has been great. I remember when the pet pavilion was created and I loved it. They’ve now touched the pet system after sooo long and in my opinion, it’s ruined it.
N M yeah I’ve noticed that pet leveling has been a little easier, but I feel that the happiness bar and just some other things they added just weren’t needed

You do not understand while it looks like Zeke and his name is Zeke and he sort of has a collective consciousness its more like Zathras -- Zeke is actually a different Zeke every where you go -- it is not that he has traveled there -- it is he has always been there -- its a magical world and Zeke is a special entity existing in many places all at the same time and yet not really existing any where specifically. Or you could look at Zeke as a 4 dimensional being and what you are seeing is a 3 dimensional representation of him -- if you do not understand that pick up the book called Flatland by Edwin Abbott Abbott (it might be free download).
I’ll do you one better. Why do people spend years worth of money in this game when a better MMO, World of Warcraft, charges a little more for a subscription yet still has way more free content and content in general.

Some of the spell animations are funny. Storm Lord appears out of a cloud by raising his hand and grabbing...nothing to pull himself up. Most of Ra's animation is him forcefully planting his ankh staff into the ground and then shooting a ray....out of a small object in his other hand?!? Wtf is he going to all of the trouble of replanting his mighty staff to attack each and every player when his staff does absolutely nothing!

How about when you play against NPCs, this happens: They'll use their school's blade, but for their teammate who isn't in the same school. They'll use a shield for a school that does high damage to them, but for their teammate that doesn't really need it. They could be a rank 5-6 Death Elite and get 5 pips, and then use a lava shark???? They could be a rank 5 myth and then use lightning bats on you?? The rank 6 storm boss in counterweight west uses a sunbird on you? And then you go against literally any elite higher than 3 and all of them know balanceblade and weakness despite being from a different school. Unrelated, storm counters myth???
I concur with this -- the tactics (or the lack there of) makes using some spells next to meaningless -- you go up against a Storm type monster and you get hit with fire, ice, life, death... oh oh there was a storm spell --- next why are all the monsters wizards ??? (or at least seem to be) -- why not if its a cyclops it just does a cyclop attack with its hammer -- no need to give it spells at all -- and so on and so on for many of the other mobs --- let wizards be wizards and let the monsters be monsters -- do not blur the line as there is no need to
The game needs a big update balancing the things said in the video. I also don’t understand why it still takes so long to max out one pet. I never got any past epic because it takes to long. There is to much grind for absolutely no reason. Grinding for gear from a tough dungeon is fun because there is challenge and you’re playing the main spellcard game, but with pets it’s repetitive mini games that are all long but the dance game, yet they all give the same 0-4 XP.
The forgotten hero of avalon vs the spartial eco of the spirit of ymir. Should we ever get the titans as spells Ymir is going to be the strongest ice spell so there is that.
I learned about the treasure card thing a while back apparently the treasure cards have sets from different packs like each pack have a version of the same spell idk why causes most of the are similar or slightly different.
Becouse myth got earthquacke with lvl 42. And myth is easy to lvl Up without Problems since you have the frog Mass Attack. Life has it Harder since they would need to pay crowns to get a early Mass Attack or Farm sagi ( do Not know If you can Farm ratatoske already)
Some actual gameplay/mechanic features that don't make sense either -Taunts/Threat reduction spells do nothing, even in PvE -Multiple best-in-slot pieces that come from payed content (P2W) -The PvP system NOT being turn-based, but rather a coinflip of who gets the opener. This one took them 10+ years to realize it's not healthy for PvP modes There are many others such as being able to get 99% resist for every single class (could be 100% now im sure) so their dev team as a whole can be coinflip with the decisions they make
I have to disagree about the threat mechanic, from a certain point of view. Threat only works when you're playing with a team in PvE. When the enemies only use single attacks, and you use threat on them, it will shift attention to you. This is useful when you're tanking for a weaker wizard, or your hitter.
Why does balance take bonus dmg from the spiritual schools (life, death, myth)? Shouldn’t it be neutral, and not deal or take any bonus damage? This confuses me :/
My guess is that since a lot of Balance spells can deal elemental damage, they decided to have it be weak to spiritual (even though Balance can deal spiritual damage too but it has more elemental). I dunno for sure though
You have mounts that "fly" and yet you cannot fly from island to island or take a short cut by flying around rather than ground hogging it through the interior zones. I mean they have the concept of flight and they even applied it (it seems) within Pirate 101 but you cannot use it in the game. Why not make ground hugger mounts move faster while flyers get the bonus of being able to actually fly -- for the most part there is nearly no difference between one mount to the next other than how it looks. Of course, these and the things you mentioned will probably never get addressed
how about that them "updating" the graphics made it shittier than before LMAO. why don't they just use all the money they make to actually create hella scenery/animations etc to add to the quality

What does not make sense, I have a few and will summarize. 1: Pet control with no entire side quest that has any consistency in making the pet better or giving it anything like a spell or even increase pedigree, there is no actual use in this mechanic. 2: Minigames. The rewards are mostly to refill your potions and mostly small amounts of gold and an item is given. Also, the scoring itself is also garbage. 3: Same with the spells being different but not sensible, you can get the same troll for myth to cast but is mustard-colored and is weaker, but apparently is rarer. Rather make it so treasure cards actually work with their school.
The fire elf discrepancy is because yellow fire elf does the same damage as the OG fire elf, but when they buffed fire elf, they didn’t bother to buff yellow fire elf with it.
Low quality pranks hate on life? I have a lvl 116 life wizard and it’s fairly epic. I solo’d all the way up to this point without any problems. I see my girlfriend playing as a storm and she’s constantly getting mad about fizzling. Is there something specific you’re referring to? She’s only level 54 so maybe I haven’t seen it yet?
Something I don't understand is why they don't give Balance the Spirit Blast at the same time as Elemental Blast, or a comparable Life/Myth/Death spell. Running solo is brutal early on without getting Harpy or some other pet. I've had two accounts so far and on my original that I don't use anymore, I was using my Balance to solo (because I mostly solo, but have done that less because of Team Up) and stopped sometime during Mooshu, due to switching to other wizards and eventually taking a break. It was frustrating constantly having to rely on doing big hits with something like Judgement, or just using a secondary school to attack and lose out on power pips. But now on my new Balance wiz, with the Harpy it's making things a lot quicker and honestly a bit refreshing. Simple because I don't have to worry about the resist on Balance bosses or focusing on the secondary hits. I only recently got my Harpy up enough to get the Lycian Chimera card, but I'll bet it's going to become the MVP card soon enough. In fact, that Chimera should also be something Balance wizards should be able to learn. I really just wish that there were more spells that were learned or even trained for Balance that used Life/Myth/Death, rather than only Chimera and not way up to level 68. But I guess maybe the counterpoint is that then Balance would become unpredictable, since it could use a full Balance style, an elemental based style or a spirit based style. Not even my favorite school, but I feel that would be fun.
There is a bug with the spell judgement, idk the name in English in Spanish it's "juicio" this spell is supposed to consume all your pips and give you 100 damage per pip consumed, but sometimes it won't use 2 pips and won't give the damage you were supposed to get, I lost some fights due to that, so I hope they fix it
why do we have a chest reroll, but not a boss reroll, people dont want to waste their time fighting 3 battles before you can fight the storm spiders in mirror lake.
The thing about the birds are that some of them you can mutate into another school, for an example Phoenix>ice Phoenix and once you do that it might give it an extra attribute
you raise some good points but lets be real, for an over 8 year old mmo aimed for children, it holds up pretty well, even for adults. Afk is good bcuz it helps the stuff load faster with less inactives

Some of the spell animations are funny. Storm Lord appears out of a cloud by raising his hand and grabbing...nothing to pull himself up. Most of Ra's animation is him forcefully planting his ankh staff into the ground and then shooting a ray....out of a small object in his other hand?!? Wtf is he going to all of the trouble of replanting his mighty staff to attack each and every player when his staff does absolutely nothing!

How about when you play against NPCs, this happens:
They'll use their school's blade, but for their teammate who isn't in the same school.
They'll use a shield for a school that does high damage to them, but for their teammate that doesn't really need it.
They could be a rank 5-6 Death Elite and get 5 pips, and then use a lava shark???? They could be a rank 5 myth and then use lightning bats on you?? The rank 6 storm boss in counterweight west uses a sunbird on you?
And then you go against literally any elite higher than 3 and all of them know balanceblade and weakness despite being from a different school.

I concur with this -- the tactics (or the lack there of) makes using some spells next to meaningless -- you go up against a Storm type monster and you get hit with fire, ice, life, death... oh oh there was a storm spell --- next why are all the monsters wizards ??? (or at least seem to be) -- why not if its a cyclops it just does a cyclop attack with its hammer -- no need to give it spells at all -- and so on and so on for many of the other mobs --- let wizards be wizards and let the monsters be monsters -- do not blur the line as there is no need to

The game needs a big update balancing the things said in the video. I also don’t understand why it still takes so long to max out one pet. I never got any past epic because it takes to long. There is to much grind for absolutely no reason. Grinding for gear from a tough dungeon is fun because there is challenge and you’re playing the main spellcard game, but with pets it’s repetitive mini games that are all long but the dance game, yet they all give the same 0-4 XP.

I learned about the treasure card thing a while back apparently the treasure cards have sets from different packs like each pack have a version of the same spell idk why causes most of the are similar or slightly different.

Becouse myth got earthquacke with lvl 42. And myth is easy to lvl Up without Problems since you have the frog Mass Attack. Life has it Harder since they would need to pay crowns to get a early Mass Attack or Farm sagi ( do Not know If you can Farm ratatoske already)

I do think the order of the myth spells is odd. I think earthquake should be a later and stronger spell. By Celestia, its damage is negligible
Each school is different orthrus is a better version of minotaur and sees lost of play for myth pvp weather low level or high level.

Some actual gameplay/mechanic features that don't make sense either
-Taunts/Threat reduction spells do nothing, even in PvE
-Multiple best-in-slot pieces that come from payed content (P2W)
-The PvP system NOT being turn-based, but rather a coinflip of who gets the opener. This one took them 10+ years to realize it's not healthy for PvP modes
There are many others such as being able to get 99% resist for every single class (could be 100% now im sure) so their dev team as a whole can be coinflip with the decisions they make
I have to disagree about the threat mechanic, from a certain point of view. Threat only works when you're playing with a team in PvE. When the enemies only use single attacks, and you use threat on them, it will shift attention to you. This is useful when you're tanking for a weaker wizard, or your hitter.

Why does balance take bonus dmg from the spiritual schools (life, death, myth)? Shouldn’t it be neutral, and not deal or take any bonus damage? This confuses me :/
My guess is that since a lot of Balance spells can deal elemental damage, they decided to have it be weak to spiritual (even though Balance can deal spiritual damage too but it has more elemental). I dunno for sure though
You have mounts that "fly" and yet you cannot fly from island to island or take a short cut by flying around rather than ground hogging it through the interior zones. I mean they have the concept of flight and they even applied it (it seems) within Pirate 101 but you cannot use it in the game. Why not make ground hugger mounts move faster while flyers get the bonus of being able to actually fly -- for the most part there is nearly no difference between one mount to the next other than how it looks. Of course, these and the things you mentioned will probably never get addressed

There's a mount system in Fly for fun, Aura Kingdom, Tera, Fiesta Online and even Twin Saga and Elsword but, none of them have stats.
this isn’t really confusing, more like infuriating, why did they add spells that are just reskins of spells from other schools? like they had stormzilla, and then made icezilla and firezilla, but the two ladders are only used by enemies and you can’t learn them??? like??? literally just give them regular spells that the players can learn.

What does not make sense, I have a few and will summarize.
1: Pet control with no entire side quest that has any consistency in making the pet better or giving it anything like a spell or even increase pedigree, there is no actual use in this mechanic.
2: Minigames. The rewards are mostly to refill your potions and mostly small amounts of gold and an item is given. Also, the scoring itself is also garbage.
3: Same with the spells being different but not sensible, you can get the same troll for myth to cast but is mustard-colored and is weaker, but apparently is rarer. Rather make it so treasure cards actually work with their school.

Low quality pranks hate on life? I have a lvl 116 life wizard and it’s fairly epic. I solo’d all the way up to this point without any problems. I see my girlfriend playing as a storm and she’s constantly getting mad about fizzling. Is there something specific you’re referring to? She’s only level 54 so maybe I haven’t seen it yet?

Something I don't understand is why they don't give Balance the Spirit Blast at the same time as Elemental Blast, or a comparable Life/Myth/Death spell. Running solo is brutal early on without getting Harpy or some other pet. I've had two accounts so far and on my original that I don't use anymore, I was using my Balance to solo (because I mostly solo, but have done that less because of Team Up) and stopped sometime during Mooshu, due to switching to other wizards and eventually taking a break. It was frustrating constantly having to rely on doing big hits with something like Judgement, or just using a secondary school to attack and lose out on power pips. But now on my new Balance wiz, with the Harpy it's making things a lot quicker and honestly a bit refreshing. Simple because I don't have to worry about the resist on Balance bosses or focusing on the secondary hits. I only recently got my Harpy up enough to get the Lycian Chimera card, but I'll bet it's going to become the MVP card soon enough. In fact, that Chimera should also be something Balance wizards should be able to learn. I really just wish that there were more spells that were learned or even trained for Balance that used Life/Myth/Death, rather than only Chimera and not way up to level 68. But I guess maybe the counterpoint is that then Balance would become unpredictable, since it could use a full Balance style, an elemental based style or a spirit based style. Not even my favorite school, but I feel that would be fun.

There is a bug with the spell judgement, idk the name in English in Spanish it's "juicio" this spell is supposed to consume all your pips and give you 100 damage per pip consumed, but sometimes it won't use 2 pips and won't give the damage you were supposed to get, I lost some fights due to that, so I hope they fix it
why do we have a chest reroll, but not a boss reroll, people dont want to waste their time fighting 3 battles before you can fight the storm spiders in mirror lake.

I mean im 23 and I still hop onto wizards every here and there and showing it off and explaining it to my friends is always fun, its actually very rare that any one has anything negative to say about it at all, like when i show it to them they dont make fun of it yknow which is the first thing id expect actually, but its not what happens.
