    Yes ,playing a new custom shop guitar .One with a full length zip on his jacket and horror ,one with brass studs on his jeans .Ever seen the back of a guitar after either of these make contact.Fine if your own guitar but the future owner may hate the road worn look ( I do not) but playing wear is normal.

    I have one of the gold sparkle CuNiFe Tele Customs , like the one at 22:51, and I can tell you, that thing is heavy. I'm pretty sure it's the finish adding so much to the weight. I love that Tele and will take it with me to the great beyond. I have to add, this was a smashing unboxing video, you guys (as they always are).

    Superb guitars, I would love to try out these compound radius necks. There must be a reason the Custom Shop are doing them.

    The problem with the Fender Custom shop guitars are that every single one of them are so nice and you are always afraid to buy because you are curious to see the next one they come out with!

    And a pretty nice bonus is that our favorite guitarplayer already hold them! So now we are able to buy customized hand handled Jacks!

    Always wondered if Fender go to so much lengths to make the relics look old and used, why don’t they do some aging to case? Seems weird see a beat up guitar in a brand new case.

  • @jfinester
    @jfinester 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think my favorite is the metallic Chile Verde Green Tele. If Fender doesn’t call it that, they’re missing a good bet. It’s a little too yellow to be Sherwood Green.

    I wish some of the custom shops weren't so chained to the past in terms of spec. They all always seem to hark back.
    Why don't they ever make any that have a modern C neck comparable to the player series, headstock truss rod access, 2 point trem?
    I've hunted high and low and can never ever find one with modern appointments. It's always harking back to the past. Why not cater for those of us who prefer modern strats?

    So many great guitars. I would say Kyle McMillin won the day.

    • @PeachGuitars

      Kyle is one hell of a builder, it's always a treat when one of his guitars lands at Peach, and when several arrive, well.....it's hard not to spend an afternoon admiring them!

    Personally I’d rather not have the fake aging on these lovely guitars basically because it’s fake !

      if someone was 20 in 1951 (the time someone would've probably actually got a standard strat) they would be 92 years old now......

    Interesting that the debate on relic'd guitars has gone on for a number of years, and some of the arguments against are beginning to show signs of wear, cracking and patena ...😂

    The constant apology for relics is quite tiresome. Please state the facts that people keep buying them so obviously the pocketbooks are currently buy up relics and guitars with scratches.
