    Hey, love the channel and your no nonsense approach to your work! But I would like to make a suggestion for your next wood repair. . . when gluing wood together you must glue the pieces with the grain running in the same direction ( wood expands and contracts at different rates especially end grain ) and if you don't have a choice you must put some type of dowel or pin to help keep it from separating! Think of a table top that has breadboard ends, they were never surface glued they just put glue on the pins or dowels and let the joint "float" so not to split the wood. Been making furniture for 20+ years and am happy to share some knowledge with a fine craftsman such as yourself!

      You're 100% correct! Don't Ever change the grain orientation! Besides that, I love the headstock shape! It's not a Telecaster, it's a Bullfighter... and it's pretty cool!

    Dear Sean! Yeh great guitar great sound and a great repair. I to think that one sounds great it was good how you fixed it. hay I got a cheap guitar recently. it was terrible. however because see things you do on your channel I. replaced the bridge for a better one and use your techniques in doing my first level recrown. thanks to you I am pleased to say I was very happy with the results. I eliminated the string a bridge rattles and the guitar sounds much better and has a nicer feel. during all that the guitar got a nice dig scare on the on the lower end of the body. I figured it was just ment to be. So now I have my very own scared guitar and I'm really pleased. thanks Sean I have learnd alot. God bless you. Take care from your pal Helcat in Australia.

    Wow what a great looking and smooth sounding guitar. Awesome had no idea that you fix the head stop by gluing another price on it it. I thought you were going to drill a hole where the crack stopped so it wouldn’t crack any farther then spread the crack and put some glue in the crack then put a clamp on it to dry. Then plug the tiny hole that was drilled. 😊 nice work Sean. Love your guys channel. So thanks for your hard work.

    I just rec’d the version that has a HBer in the neck plus delay/reverb and chorus built in. I’ll mod the neck. Right now I’m considering taking out the effects and go with V/T for each pickup. I may need a preamp with the piezo. Overall, it’s a solid build for $200!! No dead frets, etc. Need to sand saddle down 1mm to lower action.

    Connect the guitar to an acoustic preamp with IRs and you won’t know it’s a shallow-bodied in a blind test. Acoustic IRs make a huge difference. I’ve had great results.

    @MashaT22 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    I saw this guitar show up after the Tim Henson TOD10N became a thing. With the popularity of that Tim Henson guitar (and the other similar nylon guitar from Ibanez that costs less - the FR-whatever, lol), I’m surprised we aren’t seeing more of these inexpensive nylon acoustics that are designed with electric players in mind. This guitar looks cool - it’s the same idea, but not meant to look like an obvious ripoff.
    Nice find, Sean and Cathy - even though I saw it months ago, you are the first to make a video about it that I’ve seen. I like the modifications you made to the headstock so it doesn’t have that G-d awful beak! Sounds great! Since this has a cavity routed anyway that’s not being used, have you thought of adding an electric humbucker so you have that in addition to the Piezo?

    I can dig the concept but ultimately for it to be an "acoustic" whether hybrid electric or whatever it should have acoustic resonance chambers and maybe a set of thinline tele-style F-holes to increase the acoustic characteristics.
    I love tele styled guitars and this offering is no exception especially given the tonewood selected to make it. I would probably take this guitar and build upon it to make it more like a semi-hollow body with a center block and then put a thin veneer top over it to finish it off giving it a proper acoustic/electric capability.
