Spammers and scammers are it again, please don't believe them. They're pretending to be me by taking my profile pic and saying you'll get a "flying guitar" which is so funny, and Telegram? I don't even know that platform exists. Please report them immediately, thanks everyone you guys are the best, take care.

How much would it cost to build guitars like that? You'd have to use CNC machines, hand working is too expensive.

in my country you cant get hardwood legally. not in any quantities to run a commercial business. you also cant import suspiciously felled hardwood. if you declare the fingerboard wood correctly, your new guitar will be impounded.
enjoy this while it lasts, the logging industry cut too many corners (pun intended)! and now we are all punished for throwing away perfectly good 'out of fashion' timber items that we will never see made again.
BTW I see in these build on various channels timber native to my country that I cant legally get. I wonder 'how did they get that?' ahem, yes.

Hardly original, I worked for a guitar store 30 years ago called Mooloolaba Music that were making exactly the same thing, both steel string and classical. There's a famous Australian guitarist called Tommy Emmanuel who used to play them exclusively.

I love everything about this! If people wonder why it takes so long to make a guitar, you've only shown a fraction of every step, and left out the more tedious steps and all the utility jobs. It can take all afternoon to do any of those individual steps, and then the trick is not to rush it when you're tired.
You must really love this work.

I have never done any woodworking in my life and I’m too old (70) and arthritic to start but thank you for taking us along on that fantastic ride. I could almost smell the sawdust and shellac. A wonderful sensory and calming piece and amazingly informative without a narrative. Many thanks and more power to your elbow! Alan Charles Melbourne Derbyshire

      70's not too late!
And you might even find it helps with your joint mobility and range of movement.
With *sharp* tools and the right technique you don't have to apply huge pressure, so it shouldn't injure your hands.
You could try a short (or long) course at Crimson Guitars.
Cheers from the other end of the world 🙂

I learned more genuinely new methods, and ideas for my next guitar build in this single video that any others I have seen. That drill/planer idea is genius! And I love the idea of the ebony strip to line the inner edge of a cavity. Plus those bending bow "clamps".... probably age old methods, but I have never seen them.
I have also been delaying improving my first build, a solid body telecaster, that i chose to not put belly/arm comfort cuts on. I regret not doing that, and didn't like the idea sawing/filing those down. But hand carving, and leaving the gouges in the comfort areas alone would be a great visual standout, that my design was lacking. Thanks for that idea also!!!

Your content is fantastic. It's like watching movies with great stories and beautiful scenes. I have a concept and don't know if you have done it or considered before, but you could make an acoustic guitar body in the shape of an artist's colour palette. I think it would look great. :) The top could be decorated with different colours possibly giving them transparency with epoxy which in turn can be illuminated from the inside using LEDs. Just a thought. :)

I totally gave myself away to listening to this music. I then watched all the intricacy involved with producing this wonderful instrument, and wish so much I had taken time to learn.

You are an inspiration thank you. I've learned more in 15 minutes than 15 months watching other spoken word videos!

Man, such awesome work! I love close to the PRS shop, and even worked there for a short time, I wasn’t gifted enough to build them, so I just play them!

Dont you just love how woods inperfections can become the highlights of the project and it turn out great. Those knot trails were pretty nasty. But i do like how you used color pigment in epoxy to highlight those flaws.. from another woodworker. Be blessed and hope your projects turn out as they are supposed to in the end.

I would like to ask for a more detailed evaluation of unplugged mode, such as bass response, and some melody. Pickups guarantee their sound, but the actual acoustic qualities is where one learns the most. Excellent build, excellent video. Thank you.
