I´m really interested to know how the Keybed compares to Arturia KeyStep models (that I have and like). I loved to have a small Synth and a MIDI controller on the same package. But Keybed is very important to me (the feeling, travel, implementation.
It's such a shame so many manufacturers are going ham for these kiddie sized instruments. Give me a synth with some heft, normal sized non cheapo plastic keys and more than two octaves please!
That’s what Modal originally wheeled out. The keyboard on the 8X is fantastic. Kind of pointless complaining about the downsizing of an available full size product to meet demands of the budget and space conscious.
As someone living in a tiny apartment on a limited budget, completely disagree. A good small synth I can actually fit in my living space that's under $500 is very nice. I don't need a big six-octave keyboard on every single module, I have a MIDI controller I like for that, and I'd rather save the space/money.
There are like 100 of such synths, just saying. Go on any synth seller place and bask in the multitude of options that fit your needs. It is like saying "why is it just apples, I want oranges"...well um both are widespread and everywhere....you are just being crazy or imposing your views as a fact of reality, which is it?
Great overview and the patches sound amazing!
Fabulous video! Love the sounds!

EXTRA!SUPER!
I don't want to.... I will never use the app for mine.
...little baby keys?!?
If you want the cobalt with full sized keys, it exists.

And some want to bring their synth setup to a gig without help of 2-3 people )

@@gibusgamer93 Those are some valid points I hadn't considered, thanks.
