I've Tahoe from 2000. Great video, thanks! A small addition to this video: I did not cut off the bulbs, I carefully drilled two holes (one for each 💡) on the back side and got access to work with a soldering iron. The hole is about 7 mm, as you'll feel to get a comfortable access.

Hi I have a 2002 Cadillac Escalade and one rear window switch light has burned out. I took the cover off and instead of blue covered lights, I have tiny clear incandescent bulbs soldered in, there's a blue rubber cover over the whole board. Do you have info or a kit for rear window switch lights?

It is important for those who wants to put a bright light leds instead of incandescent lamps. Firstly you need to find the electrics "+" track. The plus (+) one is the path that goes from the center (under the 💡) of the board to the edge of the board. This is true for two locations of 💡bulbs and tracks. And it will be much more lighter in the case if you'll use leds. I did it with the green 🟢 leds and it's really great! If you'll change the bulb💡of the mirror switch, the "+' line is the line ➖ with just two 2⃣ contacts. One contact is next to the bulb and another one is the othe side of this line. That's it.

Whats the voltage for the bulbs? I want to change the lights on the 4x4 switch, climate control, steering wheel buttons, are they 6V or 12V ?

They are a combination of both.

I do think that this guy did it better then the "pro" one. Because the pro man refused to do it under condition that there around no access to work with. But this guy just did it ))) There are always chance if your're really wanna to try) . Well 👍 done! 🤘 And shame for the GM guy who refused.
