- In this video, I'm talking about industrial design jobs and how to find out where Industrial designers work in your city. This is a super valuable exercise if you are looking for an industrial design job or industrial design internship.

Hi Morna,
I love your content. Toronto represent! I noticed the download link is broken I just graduated and would love to see it, even if the list is some years old it would still be really beneficial.
Cheers!
Hi, it's probably really out of date. Send me your email and I'll email it.
Hi Morna,
Greetings from India. I just wanted to say that your work is awesome. I just wish that the videos poured in at a faster rate :D :D
Thanks
Thanks, Mehul! I'm hoping to make more videos now that the summer is here. :)
Thanks for this process, definitely will try this when I have my degree or even before that, as a side job!
Best of luck!
@@DesignplusMorna Thanks!
Great info Morna
Thanks, Michael!
Great content,
I didn't study industrial design, but I self lean it and create and full product as well as its prototype. Do you think, with one product I can apply for a job?
Thanks
Hi Hossam, just so I understand, you designed a product to production? Is it now on the market?
Normally in a portfolio there is more than one product.... so you may want to work on some more projects to include in your portfolio.
@@DesignplusMorna Thanks for the useful reply.
Let me rephrase my points, however, you already reply on your 2nd point.
- I'm a self-learning product designer, I didn't study at college/university.
- To test my knowledge and skills, I create a product "Plug-and-Switch-Socket" from scratch (research, drawing, cad design, functional prototype) -no one requested and it's not in the market.
Thus, I have only one real industrial product to add to my portfolio and a few things such as (package design -in the market-, Sales-point design).
My question is, do you believe that with the above history I can apply on a job? or do you have any advice for me before submitting my application?
Thanks
I wonder why toys for children are not so much in the spotlight when it comes to industrial design.
