Good news: You don't have the ability to run. So nothing chasing you.
Bad news: You don't have the ability to run
Ability the to run???
@@rafasilva1265 thanks for the correction
Kind of ironic, you're a rabbit themed character that cannot run or jump.
You can look cute though. That much you're doing right.
NeCROWmancer so at least we have cuteness going for us lol
Good news
:D
You dont have the ability to run
:o
The art style makes me think it's a MMD character in an animated music video.
The main character reminds me of 2B from Nier Automata
@@ivonastrukar4715 WOAH me too
Posted into a pr0nhub account? Yeah it reminds me of that too ;)
@@ivonastrukar4715 it's from after she and 9S moved in together
i mean the model does look like yoinked TDA assets/deviantart edits lol
Now if Manly says a game is ACTUALLY scary, you better believe it. I swear, in all the horror games he's played, almost nothing phases him.
That word from him got me so wary.. And honestly, it is pretty good. Unique. Can't wait for more.
A_Goose
Ok, because of that this would be definitely interesting...
Agreeeed
Yea...
I think the glitching in my headphones made it more scary...
She said she always rolls an 18 when throwing the dice, that means she gets 6,6,6
or she gets 1, 8, 9
@@user-cz5xl3uu2u it could if her dice had 9 sides
She also always gets the highest possible result.
Are we sure she doesn't just have a chronic habit of cheating at board games?
Maybe the ghost figured it out and wants a rematch at Monopoly.
NeCROWmancer That is very likely
One Ate Nine, is quite startling compared to 6, 6, 6
yeah, the apartment she lives in looks very russian, the people on the computer, her appearance... i've been suspecting i smelled my people behind this anime facade.
At the cubix part, the interface bugged out and showing russian, which you could be right.
Plus the goth looking MC does remind me lot of Russian girls I seen online lol

When a dude who talks over horror games like he's giving a boring lecture says something is spooky, you know you're in for a ride.
So.... does that mean I'm spooky?
@Spooky Yes
@@spoky7882 Did you just give a double meaning statement?
Thats whatbibwas thinking. Legit love watching his vids and if he actually get scared then its gonna be good.
Honestly, his videos would be much better if he didn't talk too much during the majority of it.
A horror game where the ghosts replenishes your house with new furniture and carpet. The objective is to catch them working.
Hmmmmmmmmmm
so like the sims

"Now you might see me wandering aimlessly looking lost, BUT I'm actually looking for something.I swear." Said like a true lost manly-man.
You can tell the creator didnt want you brushing over the character model so making it 3rd person was a great move. The added detail where the character gets startled and has a constant look of anxiety makes it enjoyable to look at your character expressing how she feels without a single sound coming from her mouth
This feels much better then the usual first person jump scare in your face ones, this lets you explore and interact with things and still constantly watching your surroundings
Manly’s consistent intro line has a certain reassurance note in it that makes me feel so warm and fuzzy every time i hear it
Thank god im not the only one, i thought I was weirdd jajsksks
Facts
It’s cause he is Manly.... and a badass hero
Agreed. His voice is so comforting.
She's a beautiful girl. I would consider her albino though, because of her pale skin and white hair. BTW, why would you be into 3D anime if your masculine? I would think a manly person would be pissed if it's anything other than the 'opposite of reality'.
"I need to message my friend" No bro you need to grab your purse and get out of the house
Forget the purse; that's valuable time that would be better spent running. o_o
A wise podcaster once said "Burn it down and move on."
My theory: she's a character in a sims game. Player just didn't settle on the house look yet.
I think this would be a good premise for a horror game
@@mdawg362 especially when player decides he's bored and tries to drown her in the pool.

I just want to say... i appreciate the devs actually putting in "mirror physics" into the game.
All these high end AAA games and they always break/smudge/etc the mirrors in games...but this one? Fully functioning Mirror...it makes me happy.
Yeah, I honestly appreciate a game with proper working mirrors. It's a small thing, but I always enjoy seeing it.
@@somepersonwhowatchesandhas5198 it's a waste of time, They could be doing alot of things but working on that one mirror is a horrible waste of time
@@BeDangerousSomeMore Eh if you are going to add something at least make it work properly it adds to the game
May be an optimization thing. As I understand it, mirrors can be tricky and/or graphically intense (or at least, they were at one point), so if it isn't a gameplay or story element, I'd understand avoiding it. I have to agree though, it is nice to see it.
@@whoot813 dude, a mirror in a videogame is like a window into a inverse world. its just rendering the same scene twice, it isn't hard to implement, and depending on the game it costs pratically nothing performance wise to have. remember Silent hill 2 had perfect mirrors in 2001. also same trick used for puddle reflections on the ground, just render the room twice but upside down with an effect overlay on the floor.
22:47
Manly: Oh you want to go there **Door unexpectedly open**
(instant regret)
fun fact, if you're ever in a situation like this, point the light at the ceiling, and it will light up the room better than a more intense directional light beam.
Ngl Manly genuinely getting scared by a horror game is adorable but rare. Watching this vid was a treat.

If a game can make Manly “scream” than it is truly a horror game...

Time stamp?
The only game I remember him scream was in Ao Oni from a cheap death.
I swear she has like, perpetual worried face.
She does have a supernatural, reality-bending entity haunting her, so I don't blame her
When he got spooked from the mirror, I didn't see anything so him getting spooked confused me.
It's two lights behind her that look like glowing eyes
I didn't see anything in the mirror at first, so when Manly screamed I was like "Ha, good one-"
And then he did a turnaround and checked again and I was like "ha waIT WTF IS THAT-" I've never really seen a game do that- That's really amazing.
Wdym bro?
Featuring my favourite video game character, 2B pencil
HAHAHA
The scariest part was that Manly didn't get to finish making tea *oh, the horror*
The movements in this game are so fluid and fine, it's so weird to see an anime character look-alike move so fluidly in 3d without any sort of weird frame glitch, it's honestly making my head hurt a little when I look at the surroundings and their so pristine and so is the chracter but her face is just straight up an anime girl
Loved when he looked to the "You are the best" photos for motivation 😂😂
I really like the style of this game. It's a weird blend of anime/realistic that makes an eerie contrast when mixed together.
30:37 "...Demon, where's the door hole?"
"It's right there, I drew it in magic marker"
"You were supposed to cut it out with the power saw!"
"I'm gonna!"
"Oh really?"
"Yes!"
"So go get the power saw."
"Okay, I will."
"...I see the problem."
"Oh, DO YA?!"
Nice.
the problem with mmd style anime models is the fact that the eyes are actually hollow and will appear to look at you when in its default position.
i’m just glad they didn’t really use obnoxious horror music they just used room tone and went from there
This game won me on so many levels. It gives you a cute character, and has a nice atmospheric style of horror that, while having jump scares, seems to downplay them to keep the experience smooth and flowing. Plus, I love games that have detailed environment designs. The apartment is such a small space, but they made sure to have enough little details to keep it interesting.
I'm gonna finish watching the full playthrough, but I'm buying this and saving for a rainy day somewhere down the line.
Well... ANOTHER rainy day. lol
I've already got a title that I'm saving for a rainy day.
_Creepy_
The atmosphere is great along with the glimpses of the 'creature' & our main character is pretty. I'm gonna assume the creature is her fear/inner anguish - or maybe someone conjured up or stumbled across something they shouldn't have. Lots of rabbit/moon symbolism which has no meaning yet, but hopefully will. I appreciate a slow burn of plot building up to something - I hope there actually will be a plot.
I like seeing you everywhere.
Who needs sleep when you can watch a new spoopy game at 1:30 in the morning?
No lie i read that as snoopy
That genuine "UH!" Both scared me and then made me laugh. It's so great when a horror game lets you look for the scares and then delivers in a subtle but effective way when you do.
"Do I need to know the number of chains, photos, and dolls?" Hey game! No backseat gaming! That's puzzle spoilers.
Manlybadasshero's voice is ASMR for me to get to sleep
But then you'd miss the entire video and now you have to rewatch it
@@changednamelit I always rewatch it anyways in the morning, just hoping I won't fall asleep again XD
I think so too
Manly: “Mickey Mouse with long limbs”
*Cartoon Cat wants to know your location*
Oh no
Gotta say, the anime style character are used pretty well in this game
And damn that headache effect is pretty damn good, I can relate to it.
Also is that Eternal Darkness reference you were bring up?
It's never super roided up dudes in these horror games. I wanna see a jacked 300lb musclehead scream at a ghost about how he wants to see if ectoplasm has a high protein content.
I mean... if you want roid rage, Resident Evil has you covered for most of the mid-90's early 2000's titles.
It might be interesting to see a roided up buff guy try to get the ghost on a decent exercise regiment.
Like the ghost is grossly overweight and the sorrow and pain it suffered in life has caused it to look even more bloated and horrible in death, and instead of freaking out, the dudebro just says "Alright guy, you have quite a ways to go, but you gotta start by working these muscle groups..."

When I read this comment he said it lmao
30:55 you can see eyes in the dark, this game gives me such anxiety jesus Christ
The game is well made. I have to admit, when I first saw the character, it lowered my expectations a lot, she's too adorable for a horror game, and an anime model didn't really seem to fit into the spookiness of it all. But as things began to happen, and her expression shifted to fear with every event, and the way she turns her eyes and face with the camera, I couldn't help but actually feel worried about her, they really made an incredible job making her feel like an actual person, and not just a 3d model in a game. By the end of the video I felt committed to this character, and though I fully expect her to have a bad ending, part of me wished she got away safely.
That last part is not something many horror videogames achieve for me.
19:00 It was connected to Death Stranding, god damn it Kojima!!
It might be combination from her guilt and the real ghost to make this happens.
It's weird that they make sure that she has to put that skull item into fixed place, like it can be summoned in place. and with story, they have thrown so far. It has something to do with betrayal and such.
19:41-19:42 the fact that manly usually acts dead inside and not afraid of much things makes me laugh that he actually sounded so scared to me
You have to wonder if this game is about Carbon Monoxide poisoning, i mean, halucinations, dizziness the whole shebam. Pretty good looking game too..!
This is one of those situations where you consider investing in a queen-sized bed so you can hide under it when the next spoop happens tbh
The gameplay on this is kind of nauseating. Maybe it’s the motion blur when the camera moves.
Or maybe the 3rd person camera is kinda wonky in this one. Idk what's wrong with it but it feels off
If we notice it, it's probs intentional.. Someone knew what they were doing..
It actually happens often to me as well on games with this kind of camera movement while i'm watching them as a video (not when i'm the one playing them though).
yea the camera behind the character isn't fixed so you don't have an anchor to go back to. Damn weird
39:12 lets take a moment to admire that jumpscare and his reaction
The mirror segment from about 19:30 to 20:00 legit spooked the shit out of me. Can't believe something that has been done so many times before managed to send chills up my spine, but the presentation of the scare is so good and subtle. It takes a while for you to even notice the eyes in the mirror...
Not to mention, manly's jump there was priceless
I was going to comment about how disturbing the intro screen was but Manly addressed it like 2 minutes into the video haha
The character avatar is a little too cutesy for my taste, although I do like her design. The proportions just make her look a little awkward to me.
Cool game, can't wait to see more.
It’s a good horror game because of this 19:42
that scared me too
Eh? What is there in the mirror? Eyes or something?
I'm seriously asking, because can't see shit in that bit because it's so dark.
I don't see any either. But, Manly said after that he might just see things.
or was it?
Pay very close attention at the top left corner of the mirror
@@__AdeltaRezkySuryanto
I've rewatched that part probably over 20 times now, and I don't see anything but darkness there. Even if I stop the video there and max out the brightness.
Damn ad in middle of video jumpscared me
Ikr! The video on the switch turns pure black. I thought it was the jumpscare but it was an ad.
Congrats manly ur videos have successfully made me into a night owl
While the scare factor is good I really hate this camera, it's way too close to the protagonist and feels claustrophobic. And not in a good way where it enhances the horror its in an annoying way where she takes up most of the screen and it doesn't look fun to control at all :/ Over the shoulder camera's can be great for horror but its gotta be implemented well.
How can it be done well?
@@devillass6025 well not putting it as close as in this game, having it move smoothly, not get caught on geometry etc. Other games have done it and made it work. Like Dead Space, Resident evil 2 remake, Project Zero series.
@@MajorShepard evil within
I get where you're coming from 100% but she definitely doesn't take up "most of the screen".
Manly screamed! It's so rare he actually startled me!
Is it just me that thinks the layout of this apartment is really weird?
Like the bedroom joins to both the living room and kitchen, but those two don't?
I liked it, had very spooky claustrophobic atmosphere and the ghost didn’t reveal itself to early.
Amateur photographer? If this plays like fatal frame I am so game. Can't wait to watch this tomorrow
Now that you mention it, I’m getting a fatal frame vibe except in over the shoulder perspective.
19:43 You can tell a game is terrifying when MANLY HIMSELF lets out a noise of complete TERROR
Manly: Manly is my first name
Wire Lips Dev: I don't think so
Only 20 seconds into my first video and I already subscribed because that voice alone is worth it
Do I go to it, or ignore it and hope it goes home?” 🤣 That really got me hah. Legit how I feel whenever my friends turn up.
gotta wonder how significantly the spookiness would've dropped if manly opted to say _bun bun_ every single time a rabbit motif entered the frame-
MMMmmm spooky at 1 in the morning love that
"Just saw a crazy "person" in my house, quick, got to call mom! police? what police?"
19:39 wow I don't think I've seen Manly get scared like that before. This is legitimately scary.
This is such an amazing step up from Umfend.
The camera angle is really messing with me for this one. XO The character design is beautiful though!
God i need to sleep but im addicted to your videos
It's surprisingly cool game!) Great walkthrough))
_But what does the Bun Bun mean?_
This looks really good so far. I really like the character model. Very cute, anime and expressive. Spooky mirror scares tho
Me: she looks like 2B LOL
@@withoutname9575 i can wank to that
Eugh. This is my second attempt watching this. Is anyone else getting nauseous? It's like I'm carsick.
ichigoeater Yeah, me too.
Not really, though I'm watching this on a phone.
But if I had to guess why, I'd say it's how the camera swings really fast, and then stops, constantly.
19:43
Never before have i heard Manly scream..... Surprise, sure, but no, that was actual fear
And with the oldest trick of the mirror shadow? Thats how you know you nailed atmosphere
Ooh a spooky game, kinda remind me like a mixture of fatal frame/ Ju-on
Loving the game's art style. Title screen is definitely unsettling. And gotta love the main girl's design/
Damn the scream of the thing in the mirror made me laugh cause he kinda looked at it for a second before screaming
" An Actually Spooky Horror Game "

I really, really love this art style
The doorknob: ✌️
Hearing manly actually gasp and make a reaction really made me nervous
Oh boy this is gonna be good if it's made by the creators of umfend
Put of all the vids I've watched I swear this is the first time I've heard you even get close to screaming, God damn dude balls of steel
This game is so good! I just wish the main character emoted more. "Aaaahhhh! A Lovecraftian demon that might've had something to do with my missing friend trapped me in shadowy nightmare realm with a giant bleeding cube and an even bigger disembodied hand that could crush me at any instant! Now's the perfect time to look mildly sad!"
Like at the very least they could've given her a scared face.
I’ve been trying to watch this for three days but your voice keeps making me sleep. 😔
This really narrow behind the shoulder perspective serves this game _really_ well.
What bathroom has a toilet in the CORNER??
You sound so much like Cardlin Audios! Anyway just found your channel yesterday and I absolutely love your videos. Keep up the good work!
it's 2am which is a perfect time to watch this, ik
seriously wasn't expecting to be so freaked out by this, since outlast barely freaked me out
it's all good tho bc i have a puppy with me:)
This was a really well-done game, it made me question if the girl was dealing with the death of her friend on top of a mental illness like schizophrenia since some of the stuff she did had similarities to someone who has the condition, such as when she checks the door to see if it's locked. overall I loved this let's play!
Extraordinary video manly.
So many mirrors in this game! They are a MAJOR PAIN to make, especially well optimized ones.
That spooked manly yelpy noise was adorable even though it made me jump but I couldn't see so I had to go back and repeat the clip a couple times 😂😂😂
The first in my whole time watching your vids have I actually heard a sound of shock, thats how you know this game is actually scary!
man the animation is dope
19:40 Maybe it's just my monitor, but I've watched this bit over and over, and I can't see whatever it is Manly yells about. Can someone help me out here?
It’s more clearer at 19:55
If you max out your quality, you would see a dark figure and two eyes.
Hardly a ‘Jumpscare’ but I guess that is Manly’s Weakspot.
Oh, this is fantastic so far. Very creepy, I didn't even see the monster in the mirror until it freaked Manly out. I really do not appreciate monstrous gloved hands peeking out of doors, and it's shining here. The doll-like look for the protagonist took some getting used to, but I like it.
I really like the sound design
