Some other standards follows apart from ASME are ISO Standards For internationally , DIN for German market, JIS for japanese market & some OEM specific have there own...
Difference between circularity & cylindricity:- Circularity :- It checks element controls profile in 2D cross sectional area...profile control to avoid lobing... Cylindricity :- It checks element in 3D..also checks straightness...
Cylindricity is required when components is having sufficient length as well as circular one. Eg.-piston &cylinder Circularity is, some components are required to be sufficiently circular eg.-roller of lathe m/c and carriage
1. Sir I am referring P.S. Gill book for GD&T is it better for to learn better it??... 2. How can i practice for to independently apply GD&T symbols whole assembly or parts ???? 3. Sir how can we decide value of Geometric Tolerance value??....
Answer for your third question is: Gtol value is depends on various points such as manufacturing process you are following for the part, machine process capability, STD which you are following on drawings and experience about the manufacturing process. If you give more tight gtol value then you increasing cost of your part & if you giving Much loose gtol value you may create problem for fitment of assembly, so this value should be carefully decided.
For 4th Question you can add PROFILE & POSITION also for them also datums not required when they want to controll the "inter relation between the features"
6th Question Ans:Circularity is a 1D controll,Cylindricity is a 3D controll. & Cylindricity can controll circularity also there should a refinement in circularity tolerance when it is used along with cylindricity.
Circulatity is geometrical features which aplicable to circular components whose length of component is small While Circularity is aplicable where circular component having long length.......... It's covers straighness and circularity
Thank you for the content sir. Could you please add questions on primary, secondary and tertiary DATUM line in future since i feel it is an important term to be aware of
Explanation for 14.5, i.e 14 symbols & 5 categories/type is not correct. It’s just a coincidence. Actually gd&t fall under 14th part & in 5th section in ASME Rule. It is just a myth.
Please use proper mic your voice too disturbance doesn't listen properly sooo i will second time comment on your comment box but not change if you consider my cmt so you will got higher subscribers i think....so you will understand ....!!!! Btw your video is helpful for Design Engineer.....!!
0.5 is the tolerance zone and "M" indicates the Material condition. M stands for MMC( Maximum material Condition), "L" stands for LMC (Least Material Condition), No sign Means RFS stands for Regardless of Feature.
12:08 It is wrong! Why would you need a geometric tolerance of 0.5 for a hole with dimensional tolerance of 0.2!!!?????? Please re-check your content with specialists, before posting it.

Good information explain

Yes, good one.

Thanks for watching video..really appreciate Your Answer.
Good information sir ,but I have a doubt like 25H7 like this upper limit and lower limit how to find and references
Cylindricity is required when components is having sufficient length as well as circular one.
Eg.-piston &cylinder
Circularity is, some components are required to be sufficiently circular eg.-roller of lathe m/c and carriage
Thanks..for watching video. Really appreciate your Answer.

For GD&T you can refer ASME book....search in Google for pdf formate....in that book you will get some example also.
Thanks Sir ...
Your doing great work for fresher ....
Keep carry on....

Yes Prayesh You we take value according to manufacturing process but from which source take up that value?...
Source? The value is in mm or inches depending on unit system used on drawing.
ASME STD Y14.5-2009/2013 NOW CHANGED Y14.5-2018
Revision 2013 is not there..ASME Y14.5M 1994 is there

Hello sir,
Please upload GD&T videos series.
GD&T is very important.
Thanks
Thank you for the content sir.
Could you please add questions on primary, secondary and tertiary DATUM line in future since i feel it is an important term to be aware of
Thanks 🙏
Video was informative but if possible try to fix the mike
You need to do more work on the explanation you are giving....
Very useful video tqqq... Sir
I like 9th answer...
Nice video Sir 😊👍
Sir making a video of catia interview Q&A...!!
Thanks. Share it other also.
In ASME Y14. 5 - the 'Y' Stands for??

Thanks..for your feedback definitely I will work on that.
In Q10 , what dia .5 (M) ???? not cleared

Nice information sir
Thanks

Why is there a background music in a theoretical video?
hi, very nice knowledge but you voice disturbing
Thanks for feedback..I will work on it.
Where to download that standard???
sound is not clear!!
Can you explain about IATF for next time.
voice not clear for hearing
where DIN, ANSI
remove music
Bonus tolerance is missing in this, except every thing is fine.
2016 version is released recently.
Keep it up..
Thanks for watching...it will cover in Next Part2...coming soon.
Where to download it???
What is bonus tolerance.?
