OMG…I am so excited. My Mom was going to throw out some quilted placemats that my grandmother hand embroidered. I couldn’t stand it and so I brought them home. They are a yellow and white gingham. I think she did these back in the 70s. I don’t have those colors in my dishes, but now it does not matter. I’m going to measure them and buy some zippers. Since they are already quilted, I won’t even have to line them. This is great and I will have to count them but I think I have enough to make one for my Mom, sister, my three daughters and myself. This is so great and every time we use the little bags, we will remember my wonderful Grandmother. Thank you so much for sharing your projects with us. I am so happy.

I love the idea of using vintage handwork Beth. Do you think it could be used in quilts? Flea markets are always full of embroidery work, makes me sad. Perhaps your viewers can rescue some of these lovely treasues.

Love watching your videos. Always look forward to seeing your tutorials. Thank you for sharing the tips. I would of used some interfacing on my doily.

I too love old vintage linen I find everywhere, yard sales, estate sales, ect. With the ones that have spots or holes I cut the embroidery section or sections out, center it and scrappy quilt around to made a quilt square. You could do a log cabin type block with embroidery designs at center. Lots of ideas with just a google❤️ Bag is really cute
