hey replacing the tracks is pretty easy i can help its basically just 5 different tracks, the game handles switching between them seamlessly as long as you get the timing of the tracks exact basically you open up the .exe like a .zip with a program like 7zip, then replace the files
@@bobbyperson1An actual mod would be better since it's just a drop-in replacement and doesn't have to be manually reapplied after each update. Can also make it happen under certain conditions.
Honestly, I would like it if this version became unlisted rather than privated. It's neat if nothing else to see the evolution to the finished version.
the gist is that each track it's it's own single file, it's not even separated by stems. The game fades between each trackfile at the same time when switching between scenes. The only wierd thing is that the audio is sped up ingame to some amount, which I don't know exactly the %. I believe it is like 20% or so. The one you have to have special consideration (if you wanna do them all) is the tarot pack, as it's melody is (in this case) the tubas (in the original it comes from the bass)
Jimbo starts playing rounds of Balatro, with several variants possible. All cards are treated as platforms. When a card counts towards scoring, after the scoring, it thrusts upwards towards the top of the screen, resulting in star KOs if possible. Glass cards can be broken, and stone cards always score.
This rules so hard. This is absolutely the vibe in my head during the final moments of Ante 8, moments before I inevitably but accidentally discard my hand instead of playing it, botching the entire run.
I'd love to see localthunk commemorate the GoTY arrangement in some form, say, having it play during the ante 8 boss, since that's the final blind of a non-endless run
make a mod: 1. Find a way to calculate a hand's value before the animations 2. If the hand is destined to reach naneinf, pause for a second and fade out the music. then, with more screen shake, begin the animations with this playing. 3. once the hand reaches naneinf, do a fake screen crack then crash the game. 4. on restarting the game, have jimbo do some kind of monologue about breaking his game and unlock the 6th legendary joker.
To be fair, due to some mods being ridiculously overpowered you get to see that the game does calculate the score before the animations, so this could be entirely feasible.
@TheFieryWind99 Not officially. You need an app that ports the pc version to mobile. If you port a modded pc version you will receive the modded version on mobile.
My only gripe with the VGA orchestral remix of the Balatro theme is that they changed the time signature from 7/8 to regular old boring 4/4. It would be awesome if you remade that remix in 7/8!!

If there's a good enough flute sample, you GOTTA find it just to represent the little extra spice that the flute guy added to the TGA rendition of the theme.
This is a lot better than the other AI stuff. So long as this version remains sampling the original ingame song its amazing. The problem with the AI versions is theres no structure and doesnt sound like balatro anymore.
