That’s not a dump argument tho, look, ppl hv tiny houses like me, my shelves couldn’t fit in the 2014 star destroyer but this version cuz the width of the shelves, not everyone has the budget to live in a big enough house, and LEGO did a great job to suit every target audience in this case
Good looking set, but the interior is underwhelming tbh. The last Star Destroyer, the First Order one, while technically a different ship, set the bar for me in terms of interiors. I mean it even had an freakin' elevator! It's not the end of the world, but it's personally my biggest nitpick with this set.
LEGO needs to start putting alternate hair pieces in every set with Stormtroopers and Phase II Clone Troopers. Then everyone could throw away the terrible hemlets.
Can you make a video where you rank every year for Lego Star Wars? I would also prefer if it was a longer one and you go in depth for each year, thanks
I put the 4 smaller thrusters on the opposite way so you don't see the wheel spokes. Can't remember which way the istructions said to do so, just personal preference I guess.
i got the 2014 ISD and i think this one is a definite upgrade. the 2014 was already awesome and this one is even better. personally, i don't mind the smaller size, as the overall build quality and detail level seems to be better, similar to the AT-TE getting smaller but looking better, the smaller size doesn't impact the actual quality of the model, unlike with the coruscant guard gunship. if i had the money, i'd buy this set.
@@randomproductions2948thats a therory, not a conspiracy theory. A conspiracy theory is a theory of there being an evil plot behind something, which is what conspiracy means
Never owned or experienced the older ISD models so I don’t care about the size comp. If the idea is you’re wanting a smaller scale display model of an ISD that looks good on a shelf and you don’t care about play interior, and didn’t have the display space for the UCS or older play sets this would be a buy for any fan of the Empire faction, I’m amazed at the detail they included on the exterior and that is without a doubt the primary selling factor here beyond the Cal Kestis figure. Unless you’re a Lego collector/influencer with massive amounts of display space and whole rooms dedicated to Lego, this set compromised in the right places to get a lot more Lego Star Wars fans into this purchasing tier of sets for the first time. As a stand alone display of a capital ship it looks impeccable. I disagree that this model and ship type in Lego should be hidden away from fans who want one merely because they lack shelf space for massive builds especially if the downsize still made a quality display piece.
Not gonna get this one, it being so downscaled kills my interest for it. Glad i have the first order star destroyer, its big and has a very cool interior. The exterior is also very beautiful. People just don’t talk about it that much since its a sequel set
I like this set, I may get it since I do got the tie bomber they released I think 2023 or 2022. Only thing keeping me away from buying it is I already have a vader that's in this set
I plan on getting this set as long as there isn't any set from 2025 that is awesome but there already is a rumored arc 170 so yeah this will be interesting if i get it🤔😭
Dark falcon but if you only want it for the mini figures then buy them off the 2nd hand market and get the star destroyer Lego definitely isn’t remaking the dark falcon and they’ll definitely remake the star destroyer
@@LegoDarthVader. well I’m asking because I really want the figure from the dark falcon but I’m also trying to collect all of the 25th anniversary figures so should I buy cal cestis on the after market and get the dark falcon since Lego will just make another star destroyer just without the cal Minifig
@@TheFirstCurse1 Yea I only use them for display so ucs would be my first choice, however the first year we can expect a new one should be around 2031 probably sadly enough
Big disagree on the smaller size being good for storage is somehow a bad argument. Not everyone is a Lego influencer with an entire room dedicated to just Lego. This size is both imposing while not being too demanding for shelf space
You have to know what you’re getting into before you purchase something and the company you’re buying from cant cater to you. And this applies to literally almost everything you buy, not just lego.
@@fivelonelyclonesthe argument you’re making here is the idea that you can gatekeep people from being able to purchase and display a Lego ISD because you wanted more size. Most people buying this set will likely not have experienced the older models and wouldn’t care about the size difference when you get the additional details and durability put into the build. Most people aren’t going to be opening and playing with it anyway it’s going to be a hybrid UCS/midi scale ISD for shelf display.
@@gfrank9772I’m literally not gatekeeping anything I’m just saying stop complaining that you don’t have room to store it. That analogy applies to any product, like is Ford supposed to make smaller trucks because one can’t fit in your driveway? Are mattress companies supposed to downsize king sized mattresses because one won’t fit in your bedroom? I’m simply saying either make room and prepare for what you’re getting, or don’t complain/buy something smaller.
@@fivelonelyclonesthat comparison makes no sense. Downsizing lego ehile incrising the quality of the build isn't remotely comparable to downsizing your bed. There are beds different size that you can choose from while lego can only make so much sets of the same ship. There are smaller cars you can select if you dont have space for a oversize truck. There are UCS sets for people like you. There are playsers for people like them.
The ironic thing is you have no problem saying people preferring this set to be smaller to fit on shelves is a dumb argument, yet if someone where to say that your argument is dumb, I guarantee you'd have your panties in a twist and pulling the "it's my opinion" card.
Why do people make such a big deal over less than 2 inches? Even if you are one of those people that thinks 2 inches is a lot then the set compensated greatly with looks and details

The more and more reviews I see of this set makes me wanna buy it. Probably gonna pick it up
Easily the best set of this wave, my only criticism is that the bridge area is much too cramped.
I Like it too but i think the dark falcon is better
