I remember when the republic cruiser came out I was so excited because it was the first qui gon minifigure to be made in the flesh color. When I finally got it for the holiday season I was greeted with an episode 1 obi wan kenobi and....an episode 3 obi wan kenobi 🤦♂️
We need more Phantom Menace sets. At the very least, we need a Lucrehulk, Boss Nass various Nemoidans, more podracers in the style of the 2019 set, and a new MTT. I don’t know when half of this would happen, but I’d be happy if we got it one day.
The 2007 MTT has to be the number 1. If not I'm curious to know what you put there. It's the first real "big set" that I got as a kid, and to this day still one of my favourites
The 2007 Naboo N-1 Starfighter With Vulture Droid set was the very first LEGO Star Wars set I ever had in my life (I got it when I was only 5 years old!) It's such a nostalgic set for me, and I hope to find one that's still sealed & put it together (although it'll be a few hundred dollars).
what about the technic sets? i know its not brick-built, but the technic droideka was an insane set and still remains one of my favorites in my collection
That republic cruiser set is so cool. I wish the plans for them to include George Lucas as a minifigure would’ve come to fruition, would’ve really fit since that’s the first ship to appear canonically in the skywalker movies right?
I like seeing all your rankings. I don’t always agree but it’s cool to see someone else’s thought process. Like for me Naboo Swamp is such a great value. For 10 bucks you get 2 named good guys, one of which is a Jedi with a cape, unique hair piece and chrome lightsaber hilt, and the other is like the first alien head mold ever. Plus two bad guys with vehicles. All in a neat little water/swamp build. As a kid that’s a golden set because you just know if you’re at the store your parents will cave in something that cheap with that much cool stuff.
The 1999 Gungan Sub is my favorite Phantom Menace set. It just has so much playability with how many parts can seperate and "become their own ship". I imagine that kids loved it. It reminds me a lot of some of the larger Legends Of Chima vehicles like the Wolf truck and Crocodile Boat where it was 1 big vehicle that could seperate into like 5 smaller ones. I love sets like that.
Even for one of the most polarizing entries in the series, it is fascinating how many sets were made depicting scenes from Phantom Menace, even though I never owned any of them. Or even any Star Wars sets from before 2005 for that matter. However, I was friends with someone who had the '07 MTT (7662) even though I only ever saw it once. Something else regarding the Republic Cruiser (7665) is how because it is the only time this vehicle was released as a set, it remains the only set to have minifigure depictions of Antidar Williams and Maoi Madakor, even though the box/promotional artwork for this set does not refer to either character by those names. Which the inclusion of these characters in this set is equally fascinating given how they are never referred to by name in the film and only appear in the first scene (technically the third chapter as the first two are dedicated to studio logos and the opening scroll). But personally, I do sometimes wonder how in 25 years, there hasn't ever been a set depiction of Theed Palace, let alone of the Trade Federation Landing Craft or the Amidala Naboo Cruiser.
@@spensirmclife6549 True. But even then, there is also some dispute as to whether or not "Attack of the Clones" has spawned fewer sets out of the entire numbered series overall. If you ever thought about that?
If it wasn’t so overpriced it’d be a solid 9/10 for me. The rock work is really nice and so are the podrcaers the only flaw is how Sebulba’s can’t fit through the arch
@@GardenFootCreaturemost of them are too big lego will never get the right without custom molds it’s just the ones in Jedi defense are some of the best relative to the others they’ve released
I didn’t include the UCS Naboo Starfighter as it’s an episode 2 set because of its coruscant box art
Just because the box art is from coruscant doesnt means is a Episode II set
@@JMSB-ei1zxthat starfighter was included in the opening scene of aotc so he is right it is an ep 2 set
You didn’t put the microfighter of the N1 StarFighter
@@JMSB-ei1zxIt kind of does though as it's referencing the scene in Attack Of The Clones. We never saw an N1 on Coruscant in The Phantom Menace.
Congrats on 19k subscribers you deserve it in my opinion your on of the best TH-camrs of lego
A UCS chromed out Padme's spaceship would go hard
It would be 600 dollars at playscale sadly😢😢😢

Lego should release another Republic Cruiser.
You got to make a micro fighter worst to best video
Best is defenitely the turbo tank
Yes! I love microfighters so much. I want to collect most of them someday.
fully agree, got all of them, there is like 50 of these, so its a great list for new video.
All are trash

Hey bro awesome video. The work you put into these vids doesn’t go unnoticed. Keep it up!
1:39 box art puts the AAT on Kashyyyk does it not? it was also paired up against the turbo tank Microfighter of that year
Brickset categories did me dirty
what about the technic sets? i know its not brick-built, but the technic droideka was an insane set and still remains one of my favorites in my collection
You should rank every imperial trooper worst to best
Every clone trooper worst to best please

Yes. It's the first ship that appears chronologically in the movies.

had a dream once about getting that MTT...
The aat micro fighter has a kashyyk box art
Fair but you just brickset it’s labeled as a tpm set and that’s what I went by
So why you didnt include the ucs Nabbo starfighter

A Lego Lucrehulk would be awesome, any of the ships of the Separatists at a larger scale would be great but Lego doesn't have much desire to make them

It’s a literal micro fighter bro

you should make a video ranking all the non canon lego sets that lego has ever made
Jedi defense II was my first ever lego set. Got it for my 4th birthday from a friend (friends mom i guess is the better way to put it lol).

No
