Hi Faith, I am german (so sorry about my english) and follow you about two month. I love the bible it is one of the three things I will take with me on an desert island in spite of all I often struggle to read regularly. Even finding a way to studdy is very hard for me. I am glad finding you. You are inspiring me a lot though I can not use your tips for commentarries, etc. Sometimes I don't agree with you, but it is okay. You said you are human, those are my sentiments too. And christan traditions and habits in europe/germany especially in bavarian are very different to american. I consider Paul: Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (1Thes 5,21). So keep it up in the name of the Lord. I send you blessings!

And this is why I continue to follow you! You break things down so perfectly! It doesn't matter how clear you are and how perfectly you explain things, people are STILL not going to get it and they'll STILL hear what they want to hear. Keep doing what God has called you to do. Those with ears to hear, will hear. ❤️❤️

Thank you, Faith, for helping us to understand for providing a safe place to help us to study, and understand God’s word. You have really helped me to start getting in depth with my Bible, and to really start to understand the Bible if you see this comment, I would really appreciate some prayers for a friend I have she is an atheist, and I am slowly starting to share the Lord with her. God bless!

Faith, I watch you because of your passion for the Lord and Scripture. I have ADHD so the things you do, the way you explain things is very relatable for me, and, I am a knowledge hoarder - all my life I have wanted to know more about everything and subsequently have spent much of my life chasing squirrels or down rabbit holes. In the short amount of time in each clip you can’t go super deep, it’s literally like someone diving into a pool and getting out again, yet every time I get something out of it. Thank you for being faithful to God’s Word. I like videos that do compare what people are saying “God says” versus what the Bible actually says on any particular topic eg Fighting for the Faith.

I recently discovered your channel and God has used your videos to reignite a passion for Scripture. This has been an answer to my prayers as I have pleaded that God would change my heart so that I hunger for His Word.
I am a Bible College graduate yet I still feel intimidated when it comes to studying the Bible. Because of my education I have been paralyzed with fear that I am going to misinterpret and misuse scripture. Part of that is because I let this fear get in the way during my education and I didn’t practice the skills I was learning enough to take those skills with me.
I now realize that the only way I will get better at studying the Bible is by consistently implementing these skills and learning from the mistakes I make along the way.
All this to say thank you for your videos. God is using your channel in great ways. Praise the Lord that your efforts are not in vain! He is at work in you and through you because he is faithful.

Criticism is one evidence of living a righteous life. We are not to "marvel" when the world hates us for radiating with the light, life and truth of God. It's going to happen at some point. But the softest pillow int the world is a clean conscience, and there's no greater joy than serving the most important person in the world, God Almighty.

So I "deconstructed" about 9 years ago. 3 years ago through tragic events I deeply realized my need for Jesus. As you can see this was in the middle of covid, and here in Canada that meant no church. But in a way that was a blessing because I spent a year just in the Word, not really listening to anyone but God. Then I needed some answers to some questions that had been my downfall from the beginning, so I listened to people like Mike Winger. Your name also came up at the time, and to be honest, I wasn't really blessed by the video's that called out other believers for differences in theology. BUT that said, recently your videos came up again. I am so very encouraged by most of your videos, I needed to be reminded that there are others out there who LOVE the WORD of God. I am so so thankful to God that your videos came across my path again!

You responded real well and truthfully to these comments. I think a lot of these comments come from those who may not understand the word of God, and that last one is kind of odd what they said, but I agree and I tell people that when we speak on a sin someone is committing, we must do it in love and truth and not please anyone but seek the truth of God. Even when you speak in love people will get angry and I see many in comments in other videos who say “we’re not all cringe and modern evangelical” I explained to them that being evangelical is a part of being a true disciple and that we shouldn’t seek to be conformed by the world by keeping quiet about Jesus and not letting His grace transform us. We should speaking about Jesus and living for Jesus no matter what someone says. God bless you sister and I love you and I’ve learned a lot.

Thank you for this video. You know one thing I have struggled with is disagreeing with those I mostly agree with. When I was a kid & teen I believed that if one of my friends & I fought I would cut them off because they really was not my friend. Well now today I know that is wrong thinking. I am learning more & more to keep watching (some) Pastors or Preacher that I really do learn so much from because they are speaking the word correctly. It could just be I don't agree with this one thing or one area, but I don't discount you guys all together. We are all human & we think different, speak different, walk different, talk different so yes there could be so much we agree on yet a few things we don't. Heck I did not think I would agree with an atheist until I found out some of them fight for pro life rights. How is that for different lol. Thanks Faith for your video.

I found your channel and have enjoyed the Bible studies you have done, but I'm having a hard time finding them. I do watch your other videos on Christian culture and things like that, but I'm really inspired by your Bible journaling and study videos. I would love to see more. I have learned some of your tips and tricks for Bible studying, but since I have been doing this for about a week, I still feel like I need more instruction before I'm comfortable with my own understanding of the Bible without needing to check myself and make sure I'm interpreting the Bible correctly. I'm still going through your channel to find your Bible study videos so hopefully there's more that I just haven't made it to yet.

That's Key. You are teaching Christians already who believe in the faith of Jesus. I believe it's important Teachers say once or have it somewhere group your teaching, the audience you are speaking to. I enjoy your Teachings and continue to help us think deeper from your point of view and our own research Biblically. Sometimes I watch a lot of Christian TH-camrs and doing my own thing Biblically but I feel a comfort having ya on my screen to keep me company and I stop the video to Read My Bible, Research, Journal etc it works for me but it isn't always my Quiet times I shut off TV but sometimes it's on if my study is longer or however I'm led in that day.

I hope this will help both of my sisters.
The letter of James is not written to the Church.
*Paul says that man is justified by faith only, without works= Rom 4:1-6/Rom 11:6/Tit 3:5-7/Eph 2:8,9/Act 13:39
*James says that man is justified by works and faith=Jas 2:24
*in Jas 2:21-23 James is quoting from Gen 22:1-18
*in Rom 4:3 Paul is quoting from Gen 15:4-6
Both speakers are addressing two different groups of people. Paul is addressing the church and James is addressing the 12 tribes of Israel as in Jas 1:1.
Therefore there is no contradiction to what they both say. But if we say that they are both addressing the church, there is a contradiction. And we are not rightly dividing the word of God, as in 2Tim 2:15 King James bible.
*James says, ask if you lack wisdom Jas 1:5
      But
Paul says, Christ Jesus became for us wisdom 1Cor 1:30, we don't have to ask for wisdom, we have wisdom in the new man.
*James asks a question in Jas 2:14 , James says = (if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?), No it can not. Future Israel believers need works and faith to be saved. A lot of churches read pass this question and do not answer it. Future Israel believers must endure unto the end to be saved = Mat 10:22 / Mat 24:13
In James 4:4, James calls Israel Adulterers.
      Verses to support this

That first one reminds me of Matthew 5 and how God sends rain to the just and unjust. Nice response. The nature/art thing was a big part of what got me. Guess we all need to be reached differently. Maybe his thing is kindness in a dire time or major forgiveness vs the creation element.

I am young but a smidge too old for tick toc. Had an adolescent patient the other day in clinic. She believes in "God" and...crystals, astrology etc. She said she followed some Christians on tick tock. Due to severe child hood abuse she is afraid of church. If you could list your tick tock channel and other trustworthy tockers I would dearly love a quality resource to share with young people like her needing so much knowledge, direction, truth, healing, and salvation.
And THANK YOU for being on social media!!! The gospel is so desperately needed everywhere.

As a gay progressive Christian that fully affirms LGBTQIA+ people (as does my local church and my denomination as a whole), I really appreciate your take. Not everyone in my denomination agrees with our stance, but what I see overwhelmingly is what you describe. "I disagree with you, but that doesn't change my love, or God's love, for you." I was raised in a very hateful church, they're mean and intentionally hurtful. That's what a lot of people have experienced and I think we need more GRACE for each other than that. We can disagree and still acknowledge the Image of God in one another, that we are baptized into Christ and members of one body. God is bigger than our disagreements. I won't be changing my mind any time soon, and that might be true for you too, but we are still siblings in Christ and made in the Divine Image. If we can't love our own, how on earth are we supposed to show God's love to everyone else?

I've been yoga-ing for years! so I felt literally sick to myself stomach hearing this for the first time. Could you provide your insight when it comes to yoga? Obviously I'm not om-ing to the sun gods or whatever they do but I follow all the actual stretches and poses and always thank God when they end w a namaste. Thank you for providing your knowledge and wisdom about this confusing subject!

Sounds like perhaps a "martha" situation. Good works are essential and God gifted us each with different abilities. James 2 defines how works fit with faith and describes them as being fruitful with faith. 2 Peter 1:5-8 expounds on these works and states if we do these things we are not untruthful. Prayers on your journey to learn from scripture exactly what works are clearly defined and how you can best serve God! Whether we eat or drink or whatever we do, may we do it all to God's glory as in 1 Corinthians 10:31. ❤

That's a good point. If I say, "I'm just going to keep on sinning because God will keep forgiving me" that's not how Christians are supposed to live. We need to be transformed by Christ.

Hi Faith, I am struggling to believe God’s word is true. I’ve been leaning in on God so much. Praying multiple time a day, not missing a day of church, praying on the full armor of God, trusting in Him and His word for healing of my mind. I struggle with OCD and I’m not finding that peace that surpasses all understanding that He promised us. I’m wondering if I’m a fool to have believed and clung onto that scripture for so long when I have not known it to be true. I present my requests/anxieties in prayer with thanksgiving, but I have not gotten long lasting peace. What am I missing?

I think a lot of people have the idea that your page is you teaching theological subjects, but you make it very clear time and time again that your page is to encourage (by also teaching) people how to study the word of God for themselves. Which ironically is far better than just sitting down and watching a preacher preach on you tube. Get to church or go open your bible and read it yourself; and let this channel guide you in your lifelong pursuit of getting to know God more through his breath-inspired words.

Hey sister, I just want you to know I am so glad I came across you. For the past 11 years as a Christisn the struggle to read the bible has been so difficult (in my late 20s now). I've never ever liked reading growing and the adults, especially teachers, didn't really help with that - making reading a chore but than a joy. Also having ADHD has made it hard coz my hyperactive mind has a will of its own i swear haha. So much so I've never read a full book before in my life besides the bible. However, even with the bible, it has been fragmented reading over a long period of time. You get the jist of the matter but I know I am by no means a special case.
I have been praying for God to give me a better heart to read his word and to not allow distractions, or lies from the enemy to deter me. I once thought my problems were too big to push past but as I've grown in the Lord, I have realised that any issue truly is never too big for Him.
Please keep this up, you are a blessing sister, and for the record you have a lovely heart for the Lord, lovely hair, and a wonderful confidence. That confidence in and of itself is a real testimony of who God is. The devil hates that - it's a threat to Him. All I say to that is...GOOD! haha. May God continue to use you and grow you sister, bless you 🙂

I was researching on bibles and ran across your vlog on best bible version. Though in the end you never singled out a best one, I was captivated by your enthusiasm and excitement directing everyone to just read His Word. That is evangelism at its greatest. I then was interested in how and what you might present on other topics. Scrolling through your playlist, I was caught on the one about discerning false teachers. That was very enlightening, though you mentioned in your message that how a teacher should use scripture to to let the Word be the teacher, I was a little disappointed that you didn't use more references in scripture. There are so many wonderful teachings in the Word on how to discern truth from false teachings. Maybe you could do a 2.0 version of that vlog to go more in depth on this message. Please don't take this comment as a criticism, I would prefer you take it as praise for a job well done, and a hope that you could bring more of the Word to light on this subject. Your style of presenting will (and I am sure does) resonate with a youthful audience. Kudos to you for that, In today's world it is important to find a way to reach that group, and I think you are. To us older folks, though we may have already been presented on this topic, a deeper dive into it would only help to strengthen or refresh our convictions.
Now that I have totally gotten off base to why I wanted to leave a comment in the first place.

I loved this video but I have to say....I'm glad you said you were human at the end. The woman whose daughter came out and was upset no said anything at church....I don't think she wanted her daughter confronted. I saw a heartbroken mom that NO ONE reached out to her. Our kids freaking break our hearts. I know mine have. I have sobbed on the floor over my kids to the Lord. I feel like no one comforted the MOM! Not even you. You can't look at all the hurts in the world and say...hmmm...where can I apply truth here? You have to love first. Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery--where are your accusers? He didn't preach truth to her. When she realized and said they were gone, He tells her go and sin no more. We have to love people first, Like Jesus did.

I'm still trying to figure out what that last girl's gripe was. I didn't watch that particular video of yours, so maybe that's why. But I think you responded to that appropriately. I wonder what that woman was expecting her church to say? Was she upset about her daughter coming out or she was upset about the church not supporting her? The church can't support sin. But as you said, they can love her. And pray for her. But love isn't a feeling. It's a "doing" that requires truth telling. Hope her mother realizes that.

Hi Faith! First off, I love your videos and am very grateful for the biblical content you create and speak on! :) I have been following you for a year now, since I first began studying the Bible, and have greatly admired your teachings and the grace you have shown others through your videos :) Been pondering something for a while now... and have been meaning to reach out and ask your advice on the concept. To provide some background, my boyfriend is in Bible school to be a pastor, I myself am an artist starting a small art business, and we each desire to get engaged/married soon. With both of our career paths being those that do not make much income... we are concerned about being financially secure together in our future. My job could potentially bring in more income than his (in the future when we are married), however, we both believe in a more complementarianism point-of-view for roles where the man is the main provider and leader for the family and the woman is the helper and homebuilder. Would the effects of my job bringing in more money for our family tie into how I would be doing the wife's part as "helper" (helping financially), or would me making more money be disobeying God's description of the husband as the provider? What is your theological take on women in their jobs making more money than their husbands in their jobs? Hope this all makes sense. Thank you, Victoria

Because if it's the former, I can tell you with 100% certainty, that is not the case. I genuinely do not believe that Christianity is true.

I really hate when people try to postulate that there are “camps” in the Bible, or camps in the Christian conversation regarding faith or works. Martin Luther certainly hasn’t done us any favours by going against James and favouring Paul. The implications of this false dichotomy are devastating, because if you take one path or the other you’re damned. Faith alone saves, and James labours to show that it always does something in the life of the faithful one. So approach God from the perspective of faith alone and he will change everything for you so you will produce righteousness. Think of it another way, how much does a fruit tree have to think about bearing fruit? It’s all ontological, because it is an apple tree it makes apples. Because you are a believer you manifest Christ.

Imaginations oldest creations, no god outside you always you it is in you. Luke 17:20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Flesh always look and wait and think of saved when it comes outside is classic mind blindness. Eccl 3:15 repeats to try and wake you by God in you and your name is I AM.

I think that one of the errors Christian’s make is that they conflate or mix together salvation and service or salvation and discipleship. Paul is salvation by believing in Jesus. James is as a disciple (which not everyone is) is about service.
There were and are many who believe in Jesus for salvation and not all will be called to service or discipleship. It was like this in Jesus’s day and it still is the same today. Don’t mix together salvation with works or service.
Acts 16 “what must I do to be saved?” “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.”
This is salvation then the Lord promises in Philippians 1:6 that He will complete the work He has begun.
    Hopefully this helps. Take care.

10:00 Hi Faith. You know, as quiet as it's kept, there are a LOT of believers who have gay kids in their family. Even pastors have gay kids. I think it would be great if churches had support groups of people who believe in Christ but who also have gay kids, gay grandkids, etc. as long as it's someone that they feel close to and love. We need to lean on each other and support each other. Christians kind of suck at that, IMO, after being a believer for 29 years.

Great Vid, just not sure about how you see James and Paul saying something different. I see them agreeing!
James is talking about our faith before man on the basis of works, not our faith of salvation. All it takes is for one to believe to be saved and Jesus, Paul; and James all agree. We need to remember it is the faith of Christ that is given to those that BELIEVE.
    John 6:40
    King James Version
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
    James 2:23
    King James Version
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
    Romans 4:2-3
    King James Version
2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
    Galatians 3:22
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

There is no place for sin, that woman is in sin for accepting her daughter being gay and her daughter is also in sin. churches need to judge this. The Father loves those who keep his laws and commandments. It says this many times. If you are a law breaker you walk a dangerous and wide road. The narrow road is not easy. That is why you should judge it brings people back to the narrow road that is true love to lay down your life for a brother or sister no matter what the cost. You can’t love sin and the Father. You can’t serve two masters

Whoa……I don’t have all the answers, but I think that until we have walked in the same shoes, we need to guard our tongues! God tells us He will judge. Not our job. The narrow road is not easy, that’s true. It is narrow because there is just room for 1 person with God by their side (you know I don’t literally mean only 1 person can walk with God, but faith, and our behavior is just between us & God. If we live Godly lives, our faith is a mirror that an reflect to others ways that God can help them too. (Ps every place of worship in the world is full of sinners. Otherwise they would be empty buildings!) God bless…
