Being a night janitor in a school or any other buildings that has hundreds of people in it at a time is just terrifying to me. You don’t even have to believe in the paranormal, it’s just that fact that the those types of buildings are always full and now they are empty. It just doesn’t feel right, it feels wrong and out of place.

I used to be a night janitor (shifts ended at 11:30 but we sometimes had to stay late). It's definitely unnerving for the "liminal" reason u mentioned. There were always multiple custodians on a shift, but with everyone on different cleaning routes, you're frequently alone in that area of the building. I'm a skeptic, but I frequently had experiences that left me questioning. I even went as far as researching deaths at the school i was at and found there were a few at least. I wish I had recorded anything i experienced so I could know for sure if i was seeing/hearing things back then. Like I said I'm a skeptic so I usually chalked it up to reasonable explanations like echo or maybe someone was there and i didn't realize. Also considered if I was being pranked, but genuinely seemed like I wasn't.

It's nice to seeing the red balloon actor from IT getting back into acting.
I laughed hard watching that clip. The balloon is simply nearly buoyant with the level of air it is floating at, which means any change in air pressure or wind will make it follow. If you walk away you displace air, which will make the balloon chase you. Dude's freaking out over something I remember understanding at less than 5 years of age 😂

At my school we have 3 graves displayed but outside near the flag and entrance they are the graves or memorials of 2 young children and the man that built the school in 1960

At 0:15 , that school actually looks very familiar to me. That image of a school is actually called John St. Elementary School, and it's located right by West Hempstead, and Franklin Square in Nassau County, Long Island/ New York. I went to that school when I was in Kindergarten all the way to 3rd grade, and I ended up moving to another school because i felt uncomfortable there, but i still remained in the same district until i graduated in 6th grade and got into high school. I'm now currently 20 years old, and I live on campus. Those years flew by soo fast!

What makes it worse is that's one of them silicone babies, and they weigh a lot... Even the smaller ones are around 3 lb and that one is a toddler doll it probably weighs AT LEAST 5 lb. My daughter has one and it's a newborn and it's arms and legs are jiggly so they move at the slightest bump. You can also take their eyes out and they will really haunt your dreams. Lmfao. let me tell you being alone at a big high school or college at night is the most bizarre feeling ever. i remember being the only person at my college one time during the night while waiting for my dad. i was just walking around the building bored but then i started feeling really paranoid as if i was being watched by someone so i went and hid in the bathrooms until my dad came lol. its such a weird phenomena and its crazy how your own mind can play these scary tricks on you just because you're alone.
when that happens, it really sucks cause your survival instincts activate and it feels like youre trying to save yourself from smthn. and by the way, not to scare you or anything, humans have the primal instinct to recognize when theyre being watched.

I don’t have a clip but I remember it was a late night me and my two older siblings where in my moms room together (the door was open), my aunt used to live w us my cousin came in and asked if we can keep our voices down we said “okay sorry” a few mins later my older sis and brother where laughing too loud and my cousin came in she was standing in-front of the door i asked if something was wrong she stood there dead silent for 3/4 sec, then she slammed the door shut, I thought it was her but there was something odd abt her, her eyes where glowing green me and my older sis got up to check up one her we found her dead asleep, we tried to wake her up and asked her if she shut the door she replied “no I was asleep” so then we got a bit nervous and told her she was just there a few seconds ago, the next day she told us she fell asleep at 10 to 11 o’clock we where up till 2 am. Few weeks later objects kept on moving on its own or turned on on its own for example our refrigerator opened our microwave would turn on or something would always fall to the ground.

I was a janitor. All highschools are haunted. Especially theatre rooms and acting rooms. I saw a ghost in the theatre room. My coworkers saw things too. The ghosts aren't as strong as this schools. I would just feel dread. And I saw my first when my coworkers decided to ghost hunt after we finished cleaning our sections.

I feel for that janitor. I was a student nurse at a teaching hospital built in the 1800s. It was used as everything from a dorm to an infirmary to a "womens ward" that included labor and delivery, it was a daycare at the time i was there in the mid 90s. I was working as a housekeeper to pay for school. No one wanted to clean the daycare. I thought i was a badass and agreed to clean the area one night. That was the only night i cleaned up there. I heard a lot of noises that i couldnt explain but i walked out of the area and refused to come back when i heard a baby crying, i had to walk by the room it sounded like it was coming from to leave and i couldnt help but look in as i try to get by as fast as i can and i noticed the rocking chair in the corner of the room rocking on its own. I noped my way out of the whole building.
Terrifying story i had a similar experience while I think its a ghost I couldn't tell. At night while trying to find my dog; I was walking, listening to music while on my bike I remember hearing a scream that didn't sound human it sounded odd something you would hear in SAS 4 or something. I rode back home as fast as I could; my dog followed behind me but when I told him to come into the house he didn't then I heard something walking from the right of my house. Hate me for this but I slammed my door. I heard the footsteps stop at my door and Immediately heard my dog whimpering after 3 or so minutes the sounds stop and I hear sounds that seem like it moved to my back yard I opened the door and let my dog in and listened. The sounds stopped.

Yep, I agree. Any of my cats will just stare at a blank wall for no reason. I ask them (my cat) what they're looking at, and they just wag their tail and make ak-ak sounds. I used to be troubled by their actions, but now it doesn't bother me. However, I do stay attuned to their behavior. 👍🏽
