People checking the cam: Why is the swing moving!?

Having these kind of cameras at night, and a variety of them, I didn't think much of it myself. I've had two different cameras pointed at the same thing and on one you could see a coyote clearly walking by, and the other you could barely tell anything even though you already knew it was there. On both the images look just fine and clear - but some cameras pick up things moving at night better than others. A stationary object like a swing suddenly moving it might pick up but not the thing moving it.
I never think much about nighttime videos like that.

@@combativehummingbirdhummin7317 It's kind of crazy when you see it, because the video looks very clear. Like the cars, houses, etc, are perfectly clear and would make you think the camera is picking up everything. But then you know a coyote is walking in front of the car but it doesn't pick up much of anything.
People have also uploaded nighttime videos where things like dogs just seem to vanish. A lot of that sort of stuff, it's just the camera not picking up the moving object. Still objects are easy, moving objects are harder.
See, some of these videos taken in daylight are even scarier, IMO. For me, seeing _‘things’_ during the day completely blows away any sense of security you may have had, just because its light out, if you factor in what’s probably going on at night - _all around you!_
Yup. Exsctly this. And having experienced few poltergeist activity in my grandmothers house, its quite nerve racking but after a while I guess you get accustomed to it
@@lordgallo4213 I only had two occurences and both happened at daytime. The 2nd one and ever since last one actually made me scream.
First one probably 10ish years old home alone and I can see Upstairs from the living room. My sisters bed room door keeps opening and shutting it. Eventually I go "close" it to find it closed. Like you need to push handle down to get it open.
The second one was terrifying half awake looking at the dresser straight beside my bed when I all of a sudden see a black shadow move from the floor up to the ceiling. I just screamed.

I lived in Japan. There were tons of haunted places; one of which my own house. It was an old but modern house where the owner once committed suicide. The family out the house up to market but people hardly lived in there since. My family and I did for about 4 years and didn’t experience anything crazy except for occasional sounds, opening cub boards, and what sounded like footsteps.

My apartment growing up always had cupboards open and the occasional thing get tossed in the kitchen. I lived there for about 15 years and just got used to it. The strangest thing that ever happened was when I walked past my dinner table and swore I saw the salt shaker move from one end of the table to the other. I was alone at the time so I moved it back to where it was and ended up going to use the restroom. I came back out (only took me about 1min) and the salt shaker was at the other end of the table yet again. I often asked it to shut up, especially when it started late into the night and half the time it would lol. It was only until I moved out that I realized how much activity I had on the regular. The last two places ive lived in, I havent had a single strange occurrence.

I remember my Japanese friend tell me a story about the hand and a cherry tree that apparently if you saw a pale hand when you sit or nearby a cherry tree dont reach it or touch it or you'll get curse or something or if you heard a woman voice just ignore it if you touch or aware of it it will follow you wherever you go making you weak and sickly until you die, and apparently cherry tree in in japan if its old enough it will have some spirit or some sort like Tsukumogami..
im sorry if its not accurate its like ten years ago he told me that when we were in a park near a cherry blossoms festival..

At what age does it more likely a house is haunted?
I've only had one truly obvious and scary paranormal event and that was at a Comfort Inn in Barstow, CA that was built only a year and a half before. Do they haunt buildings or the land? Obviously, in my experience, it's not the building. If that 300 year old house were torn down there's a good chance the new place would have the same issues.

No: 2 was explained on another channel. It was a friend or relative of the couple, who were helping them move & didn't realise, that a pic was being taken of the couple & so photo bombed by accident.

@@HungryBloodWolf 1, we dont use tape anymore, and 2 with the right setting they do, when i check on my son via security camera, depending on the lighting, his eyes reflect and the camera catches it.
For number 3 if I had a ghost watching me all the time I'd probably just start talking to it throughout the day, maybe have a long discussion on why it's not ok to throw my soap on the floor at 3 am

Family cemeteries on the property weren't uncommon, I lived in a farmhouse with my dad in rural Indiana and way off in the cornfield is a small family plot containing maybe 4 or 5 stones from the 1860s, they're apparently ancestors of the lady who owns the properties husband
I recently went out with my mates off roading (England) and saw a family grave in a field from 1666, plague victims. Pretty common round our way considering the history. Always interesting

Also, there’s a good chance that’s a human graveyard on your property,maybe for a family or a small community back in the day. Wouldn’t have been uncommon way back when. Check out your local library or maybe the courthouse because they might have some information on it. In the meantime, put some rubber boots and go across that creek bed. It looked easy enough, not too dangerous. Beautiful property and home so I hope y’all aren’t haunted. That would $uck.

That kitchen in the last video was so nice. You don't often see dining tables in kitchens anymore. It reminds me of my childhood home. Very cosy. And it's nice to have someone sitting in the kitchen with you while you're preparing dinner or whatever.
What’s honestly terrifying about this ghost is just how well defined it’s edges are.
that's what throws me off the most. It is easier to fake an immobile clean edge figure. The other is the chair one, it is never a natural "Welp, I'm standing up now" chair movement, it is always a sudden "string pulling chair leg movement".

@@scottmattern482 cats have hypersensitive senses, and because of that they’re quite infamous with being able to see/feel supernatural occurrences too. in many cultures, a cat is closely related to things like these, like black cats being objects of superstition, or how shamans have cats as companions to help them see ‘things’ in the dark. of course, there’s no proven data to this theory, but as a cat owner myself, i can attest to this. 😁

Those are more normal to me. I used to sleep walk all the time when I was a kid. Would wake up on the couch, or laying in the bathtub, woke up on the kitchen floor once. My parents told me they heard me crying in the living room in the middle of the night when I was seven. When they came out I was sitting on the floor and when they asked me what was wrong, I apparently just stood up and walked back to my room. My ex girlfriends used to mention me doing weird stuff at night, like I once apparently just yelled "get out!", Another time I was told I just started kicking in the air, one of my ex's said I jumped out of bed claiming someone was coming then I just layed back down. I wouldn't believe it if I've been told one of these things, but everyone telling me I do weird stuff kind of freaks me out

Can't stand Chills. Been watching him since the dawn of TH-cam and that stupid voice he suddenly started doing (it's not his normal voice) really, really irritates me. His narration makes him sound brain-damaged but apparently some people like it. It's horribly cringe the way he tries to create idiotic viral trends like he did with that stupid "Sirenhead" shit. His music videos and his lame rapping are pretty hilarious though.
The vast majority of "paranormal" videos on TH-cam are very obvious compositing, artifacts, codec errors, compression errors and other aspects of video technology and I really wish more presenters would educate themselves about this stuff. There's a guy called Mr Grey who demonstrates how these techniques are used to create "paranormal" videos using Adobe Aftereffects. and other software.
When you think about how long the world has been around it's safe to assume everything is haunted.
@S Wallace that has been my theory for 30+ years. I believe we are _always_ never alone. There doesn't have to be any history attached to a place. It could just be a plot of land - maybe there had been an orchard or a small farmstead, and maybe someone had a coronary or a child fell out of a tree - anything.... We are never alone.
This isn't terrifying , unless we imagine them to be terrifying.
They're just people, no longer flesh & blood, whose lives ended sooner they'd imagined . They may have strong emotional attachments to the places they've been seen, and maybe they just want to enjoy these places with us.

I absolutely feel for that first girl. I remember being scared to sleep alone and always thinking I'm going to get scared of ghosts but to be in that situation - she's literally frozen in fear as in her body is in fight or flight . Poor little girl, I hope she is able to talk about it one day and move on but that's definitely sticking with her forever.
She was probably traumatized by so much fear. I bet her mind was racing and just couldn’t believe what she was seeing. On my personal side, when I’m sleeping, I usually close both of my doors to my restroom and closet because I sometimes think that some creepy figure is peeking out at me in those dark rooms. I have to keep a night light on into my room even though I’m 16 years old because without it, it’s pitch black dark in my room. I have to at least have a little bit of light in my room. Only because it feels like you’re suffocating in black darkness. It freaks me the fuck out

I sleep with my door open cause the bathroom is next to me room and i leave the bathroom light on so it lights my room up. If the power goes out and I wake up in the dark I start to freak out, like I literally wanna break down crying.

I woke up because there wasn’t any air circulating in my room and that’s because I sleep with two fans in my room and they were both off. As soon as I woke up, it looked like I still had my eyes closed. I saw pitch blackness, so I had to open my shutters that were right next to my nightstand because my neighbors always leave these lights on in their backyard, which kinda put a little lighting in my room. I saw outside and there was legit freezing snow on top of my neighbors roof. I didn’t even want to sleep because it felt awful with no air as I tried falling asleep.

considering Mike is 11 (1943-'45), the thought of a kid haunting a nearby house with a little girl inside isn't the farthest idea out there.
In the final clip with the chair, you can actually tell by the motion of the camera that he is reaching down to grab some sort of string (15:13), most definitely connected to one of the left legs of the chair, to then tug it toward himself. You can always tell the credibility of these type of "object moving" videos by the way these objects are moved. And if it'd be easy to simply fake them via string.

For #3: I don't think everyone has mentioned it or possibly not even noticed, the first incident captured shown in this video if you're watching carefully to the edges as the paranormal activity begins the camera lens seems to warp around the edges and curve. Truly creepy.

i've had 2 creepy experiences in my life though never saw anything........first one was back in 2011, I would be woken up to 3 knocks on my front door around 3 am. I vividly remembered being startled awake (not dreaming nor do I drink or do drugs) and being too petrified to even move. This happen another time shortly after again in the early morning hours. My gut tells me it wasn't a person. I can still remember the knocks in my head. They were evenly spread out and did not sound frantic so that made me wonder, who would go around knocking that late. The thought of home intruder did cross my mind. Since then, I've tried to search for any other people who may have experienced what I have. It seriously messed me up for a few months.
The next one was months after the knocks. I went to bed on a weekday preparing for work the next morning. I have my nightly habits of things I do before I go to bed and one of them was locking my bedroom door. I do this just incase of someone coming into my home, that would alert me and I could get my gun out for protection (i'm a texan after all lol). Well the next morning, I woke up like usual, went towards the bathroom to shower and my head turned towards the door and it was cracked open. Now I knew I locked it bc when I lock it I pull on it to make sure it's snug. When I saw this, I had chills down my spine. In case you're wondering, I had a dog at the time and he didn't bark or anything. Well needless to say, I did not shower at all, I put on my clothes quickly and went to work lol. I tried to tell my coworker and all but 1 took me seriously. It sucks bc when stuff like this happens and no one believes you, it really does mess with your mind.

The shadowy figure with the reflective eyes looks incredibly similar to a ghost I saw in a house my sister used to live in. And it did the same thing. It peeked out to see if anyone was around and then ducked back into the darkness.
it's probable the same. some times they can move to other locations. some roam some dont.
Looks like the ghost or alien cough on film in the documentary Sir Noface, think it was on Netflix or discovery+, forget where I saw it. A dark grainy being that peeped around a door frame and had those same eyes and body movements. They even had a Hollywood cgi film editor look over the footage to see if it could have been manufactured.
Something similar happened to me. I have a vivid memory from when I was maybe 4 or 5. I was on my parents bed facing the door and my parents were facing me with there backs to the door. I was screaming and crying pointing at a black silhouette at the doorway that kept peeking out at me and every time my parents would turn their heads to look at the doorway, it would retreat. When they would both face me again, it would peek it’s head out at me and I was start crying even harder. The memory is burned into my brain

I'm not the one who gets scared easily while watching any horror movies or by playing horror games...but this channel's videos are ssly terrifying even though I'm watching while there is construction sounds near my apartment and mum's cooking in kitchen noise. I can watch horror movies at night but I can never watch these videos at night even when I'm with someone.

In clip #2, the "Peeping Tom" behind the door has a very disturbing look of a skull face with deep eye sockets and glowing dots where the eyes should be. Something is wrong with that property and this spectral visitor clues you in to it. Usually, ghosts that appear as horrific apparitions are the victims of some violent or hidden activity. Before making a decision on staying there, I would investigate the history of the property, not the house, the land before the house was built there. If nothing comes up there, I would check the history of the structure itself. When built, previous owners, anything strange or horrible happen in the house. A lot of times, realtors will not disclose anything about a property being traumatized. A murder, death of a previous owner in the house, etc. Many states require you to disclose those things before a sale but not all. Given the spectral image, I would say that this is more than likely a traumatized property. Someone could have died in the home or someone could have been buried on the property long before it was developed. Ghosts like that don't just allow themselves to be seen unless their purpose is to be seen. If that ghost wanted to be seen, there is a reason to the appearance.
