Lions were supposed to be a wild card team last year and ended up in the conference championship with no defensive units in the secondary. The lions just drafted and signed an entire defense which will make us tough to score against. Everyone should be afraid of Detroit this season 🔥💯

as a lions fan since 1968 i can understand what aj is saying in the sense of our franchise proving that we are not the same old lions vs we are going to be contenders year in and year out. we have a long history of having one good year and the following year falling on our faces the next year. i have been a big fan of campbell and holmes since they were hired. you could just really feel they were bringing something good too the lions org. i felt the same way when the trade happened for goff and stafford. i was happy for matt to have a chance to win a super bowl i thought he earned it. and i felt that goff was going to come here and prove he was a better QB than what the l.a rams coach was saying and definitely not a BRIDGE QB like so many detroit sports programs said. as an organization we do have something to prove. my hope is we prove it every year for the next twenty years like when the packers got lucky and drafted rodgers to take over after farve. and yes i know i spelled favre's name wrong but if he are going to say it wrong then i am going to spell it right.

Last year was supposed to be the year the Packers got the Lions back from stopping them from going to the playoffs. So yeah they're bitter asf. Then for us to win the NFC North and then go on to the NFC championship and almost won smh yeah they are pretty pissed. in their playoff victory celebration in the locker room, Dan said that the vision he and Brad had for building the team was "top-to-bottom... offense, defense, special teams". I think with this past draft and off season we've seen the conclusion in a way to that initial build and vision as to what the leaders want the team to be and have shaped it to be. we've filled the the last few key important slots, now it is about execution and if the Lions execute they are more than favored for the super bowl
