John Deere came out with those manure spreaders with the hydraulic moving floor in ‘81. I was at the Deere days in January at my dealer that year and saw a video of them. Supposed to be a good idea for dairy farmers who spread daily and not have to worry about the frozen web chain in the bed.
That sounds solid. Never had to deal with soupy manure. Always had thick hay embedded manure. That Deere spreader was in good shape.
We had a 450 Hydra push brand new, was on the farm 30 plus years. It was well used.
Good day from Ontario. When u open door on ford & it caught your daughter said "oh"
Boy your daughter has to check out every tractor
I don't know what that horse pc. of machinery is!
Our neighbour had Belarus 500 ?? or 520 2wd, yes there are complicated dash & controls , I think there are 22 different levers on it. Yea oil filter wash it out & go.
Thanks for now.
The ford have a cold start button on the injector pump
The horse drawn item is a corn cutter, the sides drop down and you cut 2 rows at a time.
That is exactly how it is built! It had bolt on or rivet on knives looked like.
Ford made great tractors, but the select o speed transmissions stay away from.
Dodge 600 has a big block having the distributor up front.
Horse drawn item looked like a transplanter for truck patch
Yeah ya daughter recon,s it all good tractor machanic in the making CHEERS
She already has her own toolbox!
@@TheBeardedGearhead mu girl same but hunting she got knife out before they hit the ground
@@cantwellron11 that's awesome! Raise em' right!
Did the TW-5 end up being your buds tractor?
They were his boss' tractors. I talked to him to confirm. One was running and the other had a stripped hub internally. Seemed to be good tractors for the money!
@@TheBeardedGearhead I bought the TW-5. I was wondering if your buddy would be willing to share his knowledge about the tractor? Curious about the internal gear and if he know where the doors are. I bought it for parts or possible fix undecided have 3 other TW’s thier good reliable tractors.
@@taraapplegate8216 he said the hub on the flywheel was broke that drove the hydraulic pump. They had no other available parts for it.
@@TheBeardedGearhead Thanks for the info It may have to be for parts then. Did he ever have the doors? I like your channel lot of good information and hands on work. Thanks again
Love the detail you go into mate
Thanks!
