New subscriber here. Thank you for all of your videos I'm going to Vietnam in May. Flying into hanoi and leaving from ho chi minh, spending 3 weeks making my way down the country
Hi. Just stumbled across your channel today. Very interesting. I can relate to why you decided to leave the U.S. I am seriously considering getting the hell out of dodge myself. I am just curious to know why you chose Vietnam and how did you decide this was the place for you
Appreciate the comment so much. I choose Vietnam basically because I got caught here during covid while traveling the world, and I was able to see while being here that there was tons of opportunities for real people to make stupid crazy money here with little restrictions on how you can live your life. The quality of life here for foreigners is 20x-30x more than local people. Not saying it's right but if you come here and let's say teach English you can make good money while having side projects (where you make your real money). It's not a perfect country by any means but you can't beat the quality of life here and the freedom to do your thang
@@thestoryofkt I think for me it's the freedom aspect that is most appealing. Here in the U.S. there is an illusion of freedom but when you take that red pill you wake up and realize that you are on the hamster wheel of working just to pay bills that never ends. It's gotten 10x worse since the pandemic. It's like you can never get ahead.
Omg, if my parents were not alive right now, I'I'd be there tomorrow. Kills me I'm paying something similar in South Tampa for 1500 dollars. I'm so over the United States. Prices keep going up in the cities and wages are not. Slave labor. We all bow to our corporate Gods. I'm 55 now and my parents just made 80. I love them very much as their only child, but when they go, I go to Vietnam.
@@thestoryofkt Currently looking for an agent in south but the central Da Nang amd south is my main concern. I like busy places what do you recommend south or central?
Absolutely, just get a realtor and tell them your situation. for sure you can get an apartment. If you need any help finding a reliable realtor, just let me know. Which city/ies are you going? Dates?

wonderful video I like the last place very spacious
Me too 🤣 🤐
These seem like nice places but it looks like you need to buy some furniture. Are a lot of places partially furnished in Vietnam?
This was a new building so they had not installed the furniture yet. Most apartments in VN come with furniture.
