Thank you so much sir, this is exactly the lesson I need for my research. Most tutorial videos they don''t give examples starting from the questionnaire, they just straight go for the variables in SPSS. This is a very great example.

It's a very informative video, just a quick question, should the variable be set as ordinal or numerical scale as you did

Nice and simple explanation. Thanks. Your questionnaire had mutiple sections measuring different factors such as "Instructions Materials", "Lecturer's lecture presentation", etd. Is it Ok to do a reliability test with questions for all the factors in one go as you did in this video.

Thank you so much sir.Such as great presentation. You help me understand this. But i have a question.I have a survey questionnaire which has 55 items (6 sub-sections). 5 of the 6 sub-sections are using Likert scales; "Strongly Agree","Agree","Disagree"& "Strongly Disagree" and my last sub-section is using; "Never","Sometimes","Often"& "All the time".So how am I going to compute and get my Cronbach's Alpha?I hope you could help me.Thank you.

Very good lecture, stresses the essence of calculating Cronbach'a alpha and the way how to do it with SPSS. Also, one question if possible to get an answer: besides Likert scale questionnaires, are there any other types of questionnaires for which we can use Cronbach's alpha to determine the reliability? Thanks in advance!

Great and inspiring. so down to earth. thank you so much Sir. please Sir if the sample size is large, must all the respondents be included in the reliability analysis or what % of the sample could be used? i will be so grateful for your help or if anybody around knows can help me out please. how do i follow up other tutorials by you? thanks.

Hi George, I am a compatriot in diaspora. There is no consensus on what portion of the population should be used for reliability test, but most literature emphasize 10-30% of the targeted sample size, and mind you the reliability sample should not be included in the sample size. Good luck.
