Very refreshing video your chanel does wonders for my anxiety. Anxiety and depression is destroying my artistic muscle memory but your videos help me fight
Hi Hasan Wallah. Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate you saying that and letting me know. When I make and edit videos, I just make them not knowing how viewers would think of this. Reading your comments, make me want to create more videos. Keep on drawing and making art, Hasan. When you enjoy the process of making art and focus on that, all worries will be gone during the process. Thank you again for the comment. Take care and stay safe, my fiend!
Great video, Walden! Awesome art and cool stories, all in one video. That would have been a great opportunity to sit with Stan Lee for a whole show, signing and swopping stories. That's every comic book fan's dream. I'm glad you got to meet him, but alas, Stan has passed on and I'll never get my chance to meet him. How has your work changed now that you also use ink brushes versus earlier in your career when you used only croquill pens? Thanks for posting this and stay safe, my friend!
Hi Romeriklan. Thank you for watching and the great comments. Before, I only knew how to use the crow quill and that alone was a learning curve. Once I got used to it, learning how to use a brush was completely different. Then later learning how to make microns work and so fourth. I’m glad I know how to use as many different art tools today compared to only just one. Because every tool can make the same like and effect, except certain tools and make those lines and effects more efficiently over another. I remember using a quill and making thin to rupee thick line weights. When the line is super thick, I would ink in two lines and fill them in with a quill. Back and fourth. Now with a brush, I can do that with just one mark and done. So knowing how each tool can work efficiently, makes a huge different for turning in artwork to publishers on time. Thanks again for watching, my friend!
this may be a stupid question but do both of the complete collection volumes include every issue of deadpool by joe kelly? or will they release additional complete collection volumes?
Hi godsfighter. Thank you for watching. I’m sure there will be new collections as well as complete collections coming out. I do know there are Deadpool Omnibus editions that collected a larger run of Joe Kellys work. If you enjoy these types of video and like to see more, please subscribe to my channel for more tutorials. Thanks again!
Hi Acid Drop. I’m sure Marvel would be releasing a volume 3 sometime in 2022. Volume 2 was published in May of ‘21 and between volumes is about a year. Once I get complementary copes from Marvel, I’ll also make a video of it. In the meantime, there’s this fun Deadpool volume we’ve worked on… amzn.to/3yIfKvQ Thanks you for watching! I’ll have more videos soon!
Hi Jerry. Yes, that one graphic novel comprise of many floppy comic books, that are compiled together to make these bigger graphic novels. Different issues are drawn, inked and colored by different teams. Sometimes, you’ll see multiple inkers and colorist working over the same penciller. In which case, that’s because of deadline. Penciler (or writer) too up too much time on their portion and more inkers and colorist are brought in to help finish the book before print date. It happens every now and then. Hope that answers your question! Thank you again for watching!
@@WaldenWongArt yes it dose thank you. I have been reading collecting comics from the mid 70s you have answered a few of my interests the last few days. Thank again.

Why so many inkers and colorist is it deadline related?
