You don realise they're BOTH stereo right :D its just that the so-called 'stereo' one is dual channeled. So for simplicitys sake you can still use the normal version on stereo tracks
Yes. At the time of the release the new plugin was more interesting to me with the new left-right / mid-side, and link options. Obviously the original El Rey was stereo... I used it on the mix bus often since 2019

Sand comp is totally fine, but the Timp L-bus comp v2 (gold version) is the best in my opinion. Maybe Sand4 will change my mind... god willing they release that soon! For now I use the Sand sslE and G series Eq's all the time. I have all the others you mentioned as well. Once you get sucked into the deep discounts that AA offer returning customers, it's tough to resist buying stuff! Thanks for the comment 👍
That's actually an allen wrench 😂 I usually tape a pencil over the middle of the capsule because it helps to prevent Plosives, but I couldn't find one that day. Good catch!
I hear ya... Acustica doesn't care about CPU usage. It's definitely an issue. I have an entire Hackintosh connected by Ethernet and use Audio Gridder to turn that into a host for Acustica plugs just so that I can have the horsepower to make these videos.
