This guy is seriously one of my mma heroes, an average man, by his own admisson an average fighter, never afraid to acknowledge when he got his but kicked, was always humble....i mean this guy is so down to earth on TUF 1 he admitted that if he was ever caught in a submission he d tP his little heart out.....
but remember its the same fighter who got caught in a submission broke his arm, he didnt tap and knocked his opponent out with his right hand. it was before he got into TUF 1, the man is a beast and the only reason why he said he would tap was because he wouldnt be able to fight in TUF if he didnt tap
Man, I've been watching these non stop since like Friday lol. These and Fight Pass Chronicles. UFC keepin us busy this holiday season. Love it. Just one reason UFC outshines every other promotion.
Man you just gotta love Forrest, such a legend in the sport. Solid goose bumps watching this. His fight for the first TUF finals was what got me into this sport. LEGEND
hes one of my favorite fighters from the ultimate fighter 1, knowing what he became i almost want to rewatch the first season before continuing to see him grow again, he had the goofiest yet badass haircuts andcrazy fun style. love this dude
One of the best series the UFC has put out. Helps showing the people that don't know who are the guys who helped make the UFC what it is today, and showing the guys that watched these fights live a little walk down memory lane. Giving respect is what it's always about. I remember having to rent the first probably 10 ufc fights at Blockbuster on VHS.Time flies
I completely forgot that Forrest Griffin lost his mind over a Matt “the immortal” Brown fight, which, of course Matt won 😂 Forrest, I can’t tell you what a hero you were to so many of us, and still are!
I'll never forget being there with Forrest, Adam, Rory, Chad, John, and Forrest's dad. The celebration that night was one of the most memorable nights of my life. Thanks Forrest.
Got to love how real Forrest is. Always himself, super authentic and honest. I still remember that interview he did talking about his fight with Silva. His self deprecating humour was legendary😅. A real fighters fighter. Top man.
Best UFC era imo! Love Forrest and everything he brought to the UFC. The original ultimate fighter! And I love how he makes fun himself the whole time during the fights 😂 Wish Stephan was around to see all this
One of the humblest top guys in the UFC. He was a champ and one of the best of his time, and this guy was and is never scared of poking fun at himself, never taking everything too seriously. Forrest vs Bonnar, the fight that cemented my fandom in MMA.
I enjoyed this episode more than any other because of his candid assessment of his own fight but his ability to remain humble when presented with his own greatness.
I was always interested in mma and fighting but The man that won tuf that very last fight turned my interest into being hooked on UFC till this very day! Thank you Forests my first favorite fighter!
@@Shawner1000 not taking anything away from Stephen.. this is a video about Forrest and that fight wasn’t even included. But you are correct there is no ufc without Forrest or Bonnar. May his soul rest in heavenly peace and glory
He’s the reason I started watching the ufc back in the day . Love the guy ! Also love Kenny Florian he was a great jiu jitsu fighter !! Both have a lot of heart .
I started watching like a month after the UFC, my friend told me about because I currently had ran 1 mile to and from Kung Fu with Japanese Ju Jitsu, I love it and it seemed to keep me from street fighting. Anywho, Forrest and DEFINITLY = The Iceman got me watching the events and the couple I'd missed I went Blockbuster and Century Marial Arts to rent and buy UFC DVDs, Damn, I'm getting old but I still practice MMA. Thank you UFC for changing my life forever!
Ive loved watching him since tuf one! His personality is awesome! He dont care about all thr trash talking, he will make jokes and just loves to freakin brawl!
When Forest became champion it was like a relief for fans. Kind of reminds me of Leon Edwards the way it made me feel when he won the title, its like you didnt expect to see it but you wanted him to be the champ, and gd you loved to see it when he won the title. Especially since UFC was a new thing for me and a lot of fans and we watched Forest on TUF and that epic fight with bonner and so on. The Forest era will always be remembered by me. I was a really young new fan but I remember watching all of forests fights.
No matter how much of a monster rampage is, he's such a great guy! I truly miss the old school guys personality. I love how much personality they have. These guys are the truth in combat sports! ESPECIALLY RAMPAGE "LIFE OF THE PARTY" JACKSON!
One of my all-time favourite fighters, he was like the Dominick Cruz of the light heavyweight division had beautiful footwork and devastatingly kicks ! He always Never gave himself credit for the things he accomplished
I love how forrest threw a tantrum and destroyed the door even though his fighter won the close decision. He was so fired up when rampage challenged him
The funny thing about Forrest Griffin Is that the best I could hope for is that he would be a gatekeeper fighter that would stay relevant and always gave us great action fights. So I cried tears of joy when Won the title going toe to toe with the man that knocked out Chuck Liddell at his most dominant.the guy was a living Action Comedy movie in real time with the best ending possible
This was the in-between era. From crazy bs brawls to the real MMA that built the UFC. Then Jon took the baton from Silva and we have the modern era. We need more shoes like this. Very cool retrospect
Griffin, Rampage, Wanderlei, Chuck, Tito, Shogun. Such a great era.
Tito has never let us down !! Till now , he won’t start 🙏🏼
Evans , lyoto
Rich franklin
Stephen
Don’t forget vitor!
the amount of humility this dude has always impressed me and it's awesome that he ended up being the first ever TUF winner, what a legend
I like that he owned up to never being the best coach.
Bro, still got huge chills and was so pumped for Forrest. Felt like we all won, for real. Big Respect Brother. Motivated me so much then and now.
This guy is such a humble dude. Hes what every man should aspire to be.
exactly
This man is LITERALLY the reason I got into this sport. So glad they gave him his flowers 💪🏽

Forrest is one cool guy. Very humble. One of the best to ever do it for sure. The best part is how he dunked the ball at the end. That's a statement
Forrest was always one of my favorite fighters. He makes everyone laugh. What a great series of videos.
Watched him win the title live. We were all soo pumped that he did it.
I completely forgot that Forrest Griffin lost his mind over a Matt “the immortal” Brown fight, which, of course Matt won 😂
Forrest, I can’t tell you what a hero you were to so many of us, and still are!
I’ve only ever bought something UFC related once and it was a Forest shirt. He’s the reason I started watching the UFC. Love that guy!
How can you not love this guy? ❤

The best Year of the Fighter yet!
Best UFC era imo! Love Forrest and everything he brought to the UFC. The original ultimate fighter! And I love how he makes fun himself the whole time during the fights 😂
Wish Stephan was around to see all this
Forrest is one of the coolest dudes to ever fight
Why I started watching UFC regularly. Thank you Forrest!
Griffen was the first fighter i ever paid attention to when he fought, idk what it was, he always had my attention when he fought
It's not possible to have a greater episode than this one.
One of the humblest top guys in the UFC. He was a champ and one of the best of his time, and this guy was and is never scared of poking fun at himself, never taking everything too seriously. Forrest vs Bonnar, the fight that cemented my fandom in MMA.
I bought and mounted that “recreated” shirt in my little lean to during my 3rd deployment when I was in Baghdad. I loved it as much as i love Forrest
Great to see Forrest who help make this sport and organization more mainstream is doing well.
I enjoyed this episode more than any other because of his candid assessment of his own fight but his ability to remain humble when presented with his own greatness.
this was the year i started watching UFC never looked back
Forrest you are not average! You are the reason I started watching UFC❤❤❤
Watching him fight Bonnar as a kid was what got me into mma. Respect to the legend
I was always interested in mma and fighting but The man that won tuf that very last fight turned my interest into being hooked on UFC till this very day! Thank you Forests my first favorite fighter!
Forrest Griffin the best UFC fighter of all time
Sometimes, if they stay true to their vision and to themselves nice guys win. We needed to see that Mr. Griffin, we still do. Thank you.
This fight changed history
Love him picking apart his own fights. What a Legend!
Reason why I started watching the sport. What a legend
There is no UFC without Forrest.
pretty disrepectful to not add Bonnar it took both of them.

Who didn't love these days being a fan of the ufc!! Forrest such a cool dude..
Humbleness is what makes Forrest a Legend
I hope we get a year of the fighter vid for Chuck Liddell
Forrest is a legend so good at evolving mid fight and good on his feet good use of his long body
Ufc should do one of these about stitch he was a hallmark of early ufc
Love Forrest. His self effacing attitude and the fandom and wonder of his success make him very easy to gravitate to.
Forest was my favorite guy to use in the first UFC game, but Rampage was why I started watching UFC.
I freaking Love Forrest… One of the best to ever do it! If I had to assemble a dream fighting team he’d be one of my top picks! All heart..
He’s the reason I started watching the ufc back in the day . Love the guy ! Also love Kenny Florian he was a great jiu jitsu fighter !! Both have a lot of heart .
watched this 2 times.... love forrest, love MMA
Forest has always been 2 critical of himself
I started watching like a month after the UFC, my friend told me about because I currently had ran 1 mile to and from Kung Fu with Japanese Ju Jitsu, I love it and it seemed to keep me from street fighting. These are all incredible. Thank you @ufc
After forrest griffins impersonation of chuck liddell on season 1 of Ultimate Fighter instantly made him my FAVORITE FIGHTER.
Forrest giving Stitch props...I remember his era, it was awesome!

King Forrest! Legend, man of the people.
Forrest is the most wholesome in all of MMA.

Heart of a fucking warrior
I almost forgot about Forrest believe it or not watching this guy is special even now
Forest is a gem, national treasure in the MMA world.
Hearing Randy saying good thing's about you is pretty awesome
Hearing how this man beat rampage Jackson is what got me into MMA to begin with.
Always chose Forrest in Undisputed
I really, really miss forest Griffith being an active fighter. He is such a genuine, humble and entertaining guy.
13 seconds in Coach - "its your time baby" Forest Griffin - "time"
Forrest deserves everything good he has in life.

Legend has ot if you look up the word humble, next to it is a photo of Forrest Griffin
What a cool guy.
I love how forrest threw a tantrum and destroyed the door even though his fighter won the close decision. He was so fired up when rampage challenged him
Griffin rarely gets his due.. one of the toughest guys of his era
Such a good episode and to see Michael Duncan 13:32 RIP legend.
He definitely had the best UFC voice over for clips and promotion trailers
The funny thing about Forrest Griffin

I was lucky enough to be in attendance for Forest’s pro mma debut against Dan “The Beast” Severn in Augusta, GA. Hometown guy made good.
One of the realest to ever do it. Hespect.
One of the pioneers right there.
Forrest will always be my favorite fighter
Forrest had a great career in the UFC
Badass
Tim Sylvia was a staff member at the group home i was at in 1996. He told us stories about the bar he bounced at in Bangor.
And then he met Anderson Silva......RIP. Love Forrest though...always was my favorite fighter growing up.
Calling his younger self a jerk face... 😂😂😂.. This guy is the GOAT
I’m loving these uploads.
Forest watching forest is hilarious it’s like he’s just watching someone else
Do year of the fighter with chael sonnen
