First attempt at thermal syphon, works great!! 113F in 5 1/2 hrs from 48F. Free tub, stove and cover. Just had to buy the pipe and fittings, whole tub costed me about $120.
From the 1 1/4 brass drain pipe I used a rubber coupler 1 1/4 to 1 1/2, to 1 1/2 galvanized reducer to 3/4 galvanized nipple to 3/4 in tee. Drain shut off valve below and brass compression reducer to copper pipe

@@danmetrovich883 I plugged the overflow drain hole and one side of the faucet then copper into compression fitting to 1in pipe thread on part of the faucet
