I think it's also the element that they have just spent several hours trying to steal the money and thinking that every step had worked so far, only to be thwarted at the final hurdle of redeeming the cards. In Steve's case, Kit had been playing him like a fiddle for over 9 hours! I'm honestly surprised he didn't lose his voice from all the shouting.
I'm glad the scammers have such short fuses. If they had an ounce of customer service training they'd be much better at scamming.

No, they work on commision.
So let's say that a scammer manages to scam $1000 from a client that day, their commision will be around $15-$20, or perhaps a bit more depending on the Scam Center 😄

They are being scammed themselves, and there isn't much that they can do about it, because a lot of the guys that own or manage those Scam Centers are real killers or organized crime figures, make no mistake.
If you think that Indians don't get down like that, I recommend that you read about some of their most well known arrests.

The backs of those cards makes the job a bit easier; they make it seem perfectly logical and justifiable to just ramble on geriatrically in the convincing semblance that you are happily helping them get all 'their' money back.

I love that they are insulting and calling you the worse of names you but still call you a respectful "Ma'am"
They are stuck on autopilot. Some of them repeat "sir" or "ma'am" even when repeatedly told that they are using the wrong gender. It's like a verbal tick.

One pro tip to deal with these Indian scammers. Whenever the scammers gets very angry tell them "You have an anger problem son, you should do yoga. Yoga keeps mind calm and healthy and makes one successful in his career."
Trust me we Indians are tired of hearing this from our elders so this would definitely trigger them to the ultimate level.

Their rage just shows how much more they love stealing money than having any empathy for their victims. When they see 'their' money slipping away bit by bit, and no longer having any control of the victim they go bat-spit crazy. Cutting up or redeeming the cards is the slowest form of torture, even more than when you won't stop talking.

They're mad because every month they have a performance review. If they have stellar numbers they get bonuses of your money. If they have average numbers they get to stay on another month;If they have below average numbers they get fired. If you tie these guys up for hours and hours and end up giving them nothing it cooks their numbers. In the case of the one who was on the phone for 10 hours; that was almost certainly his entire workday and then some. He wound up pulling in $0.00 for that workday. Just one day like that can cook your numbers for the entire month.
This is the best explanation I've seen for why they get so tilted, I hope you're right, it makes these videos so much funnier knowing he's fucking their KPI's

Take my word for it, the people at the top of these scams who live like kings on stolen money don't give a flying frig about the peons in the call center. The guy who scams you on the phone isn't getting any of the money he's scamming from you, he gets $10 per hour unless he steals enough money for a bonus.

I feel so sorry for the seniors that get mistreated like this, just so these scumbags can rob them of their money. How do they even sleep at night, knowing that they’ve hurt others with their actions? 😢
I’m glad to see people clapping back against these scammers and giving elderly people the justice they deserve. It’s even taught me a thing or two, seeing as I’m a vulnerable, naive woman in her 20’s still figuring out life. It’s helped me be more aware of these types of fraudulent schemes and to stay vigilant.
