    I have the LD Curvs 500 TS and I’m super happy with them! These 44s are monsters!

    The 44s perform very well, did a wedding helping a fellow dj and they were his. You'll love them.
    I went with Bose Pro 32s with Sub 2's.
    They are in the same performance league imo.
    Enjoy!

    I have had mines in my living room right now for two weeks and I'm excited to get them on the road. Bags and wheels are hard to come by and I won't take them out until I get safe travel with my new babies. From using my EV50's for the the pass 4 years (and I still love my EV50's) but now for 100 people and down weddings. The 44G2's will bring the police LOL to some venues I can tell already. Did you get Casters and bags for yours yet and where? Lastly the price was worth it to me and with 2 or 3 gigs the'll pay for themselves.

      I'm waiting on bags as well, but I actually have to take them out without them at the end of this month. I'm not so worried about the subs because I can cover those with some packing blankets, but I'm still trying to figure out how to transport The Columns until my bags come in.

      @@djtravismcguire That's what I'm saying. I still have my QSC tops and subs I'll use until then for bigger weddings. Please keep me posted and how things go, I'll subscribe. I wish I had time and the energy to do a channel as I do a lot of events year around. Keep up the good work Adam

      @@masterpdj2623 it's really hard. I have a full work load and I have two young kids that require a lot of my attention, so I understand just how hard it is to produce quality content. I'm trying for sure.

    Have you checked out the Bose L1 Pro 16's? just picked up 2 of those and they are super impressive IMO

    • @djtravismcguire
      @djtravismcguire  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are nice, but they don't touch these things. These 44g2's are in a Class all by themselves. The L1 16's are a lot more portable though.

      @@djtravismcguire do you believe the 44’s will cover large events by themselves (possibly adding 2 more LD subs) or still think a traditional setup is best for large events? [150-200 people, outdoors, etc.]

      @djtravismcguire  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jwalkproductions749 I've done a prom for 400 kids and a medium-sized room and here recently I have done a 250 person wedding in a large room and I didn't even see the limit light come on.

    I wish the input section was more comprehensive and contained a true mixer with 5-6 inputs and effects. As-is, it's fine for DJ's who will always connect an external mixer, but for a duo or trio band that wants to minimize equipment, they are forced to purchase, carry and operate an external mixer. I am sure it sounds AMAZING, but the lack of a comprehensive input section especially at this price, is a major flaw IMHO.

    • @djtravismcguire
      @djtravismcguire  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I see what you're saying, but I'm not sure how many musicians are going to carry these around to perform. The way the inputs are setup on the back, it definitely looks like they marketed these towards DJ's specifically.

    You labeled this as " LD Systems MAUI 28 G2 Portable Column Array PA System (Overview) | The King of the Column Array " but this was a review of the 44 G2 & not the 28 G2. Am I missing something here?

      Nope. Just an honest mistake. Thank you for pointing that out. It's fixed. LOL

    These are being marketed by being handed out to influencers - who neglect to mention they get them free or that they are limited in how they do reviews in terms of comparrisons ...The flaw with the system I see is they are too big which defeats the main object of being portable easy set up colum array like the smaller Maui28 G2 for which i do see a point and its very tall so no good in venue on a stage or low ceilings which would limit you. It also expensive and not as good as say the Yahmaha DSRs or QSC K 12 or HK linnar ranges allof which which you can get for less with subs and its inferior in terms of loudness or quality of sound and certainly not as roadworthy. I thought same as you when I saw it but went of it when I thought about it more. I would not swap it for my system and its about 3 or 4 times cheaper ...
