CORUSCANT
Coruscant, also known as Imperial Center during the rule of the Galactic Empire, was an ecumenopolis-a city-covered planet, collectively known as Galactic City- in the Coruscant system of the Core Worlds. Though debated by historians, it was generally believed that Coruscant was the original homeworld of humanity.
Noted for its cosmopolitan culture and towering skyscrapers, Coruscant's population consisted of approximately one trillion citizens hailing from a vast array of both humanoid and alien species. In addition, Coruscant's strategic location at the end of several major trade routes enabled it to grow in power and influence, causing the city-planet to surpass its early rivals and become the hub of galactic culture, education, finance, fine arts, politics and technology.

Padme revealed everyone that her husband is the Chosen One. Rex and Ahsoka arrived to Coruscant with prisoner Maul and revealed the inhibitor chips that lead to Lama Su and Nala Se’s arrest. Taun We has been chosen to become Prime Minister, all Clones were given citizenship, thanks to Senator Riyo Chuchi. Padme gave birth and decided to raise the baby Skywalker’s on Naboo, with Anakin. The Senate and High Council gave him the 'Hero with No Fear' title and the Galaxy will remember him, always.

I love that shot of Anakin looking out over Coruscant at sunset, pondering on what he should do next... The defining moment of not just his own existence, but of the fate of the galaxy. A sunset is beautifully symbolic of an "ending", usually just the ending of a day, but on this particular day it represents the end of the Old Republic and the beginning of the long night under the Empire.
The thing I noticed most about Padme's Ruminitions was how Anakin literally turned away from the light of the sunset with tears streaming down his face.

The lower down you go the more cyberpunk it gets until about lvl 50 when things get straight apocalyptic

I always wondered how the rotten lower levels are able to carry these kilometer tall buildings. I mean who even maintains the foundations? They're tens of thousands of years old by the time of the movies and the government doesn't dare sending people down there.

This is one of the things that makes Coruscant my favourite star wars planet. All those ships in the background in the movies and clone wars episodes is just so nice.
just me imagining that im sitting in my quarters at the jedi temple, looking out at this beautiful city. its been a long day of training under master obi wan, but rewarding nonetheless, and i decide to read through some of the jedi textbooks he's assigned me from the library. i know i have a long day ahead of me, but that won't stop me from staying up until 3am learning more than i need to, hoping that i will impress my master tomorrow. just me? ok. gn yall
i doubt you'll be lucky enough to be a jedi, you'll live and work on the lower levels, barely having time to read becayause you'll be working your ass off for barely enough credits to survive the month.

God Coruscant has got to be the coolest planet in the Star Wars universe
It's one of the reasons I love the prequels so much, would've been cool to see it return in the sequels to see how the war affected the former capital

we imagined the world is better like we imagined, but thing is the world is as our body is, as our mind is, we are the world, the world is us, agree? so like that, even if the future does look like coruscant and the landscape did changed, what's inside our body and mind could still be the same, unchanged. the scenery of coruscant could look like that for eternity, but what we deem changed, is ourselves, with our own minds. you could lose the appreciation for such scenery by the time our world had become like coruscant for a thousand years, do you get me? it may seem like a negative view but i have no such intention, do not fret, because if we can "become" coruscant, and "possess" coruscant in our hearts/body/mind whichever, we can already be at coruscant right at this very moment, you get me? why deem it fake? why isnt it real when it isnt physically before your eyes? why deem dreams and imaginations fake when it exists in our reality as a whole? go to another "better" country for all you like, but the grass isnt greener on the other side of the world, but it can be greener inside ourselves. please reply to my comment. im pretty sure im sane. may love be with all of us.
Am I the only one that actually misses Coruscant? I don’t know, it’s just it has been a long time since we haven’t seen Coruscant canonically, especially after the Empire fell, I kinda feel sad how the new sequels didn’t have any planets that we knew (not tatooine tho) and we got distanced even more from what we always knew

I always loved Coruscant. Pretty much any Clone Wars episode set there, especially the ones set in the 'city' areas, not just the Jedi Temple, were fantastic. The season 7 episodes with the Martinez sisters weren't great but I still enjoyed it just because we got to see more Coruscant.
I seriously thought we would see Coruscant again in the sequel trilogy but nope. Nothing but disappointment and missed opportunities.

I think disney is managing plaza employees who think they know everything but have no deep knowledge on the subject, even KOTOR I & II music was better than all Disney's music. i think it is the most capitalist and incompetent company in the world, plunders and drains everything it captures. i do not to mention the new cheesy big mouth creatures and oddly shaped droids

We vacationed on Coruscant a year ago! Very expensive... nearly $5,000 Credits but worth it. We stayed @ the Kylo Ren on the outskirts of the Main City. There were some Imperial Extremists chanting "Make The Empire Great Again" but the Blue guards kept them in check. Coruscant is a major multicultural planet. My girl is from Ryloth, she really enjoyed The Twi'Lek Dance &Eatery near the Hub. We plan on going back next year!
Currently writing up my own original Star Wars story and this track has definitely helped put me into that Coruscant mindset. Incredible stuff!

it's my favorite ambience, and it's a sin that it's only 2 hrs long, because i'd love to keep it on all night. I love to think that the reason we don't see the Jedi Temple in the landscape is because we are actually watching Coruscant directly from the Temple itself, from its higher rooms.

Back when I was a foundling, on the occasional time that my father would let my brother and I leave dathomir, we would come here. These sounds, how they bring a sense of nastolgia to my soul. My father would let us leave much more often after I got my armor, and after we moved to Keldabe.

I love how you can kind of sense the Sith presence through the music at points, it slowly gets darker throughout attack of the clones in the scenes on coruscant, obviously peaking in Revenge of the Sith.

Coruscant is a politically and strategically important planet, serving as the capital and seat of government for the Republic and Empire, as well as the headquarters of the Jedi Order.
It is typically depicted as a bustling yet highly stratified planet-spanning metropolis.
Throughout the city's centuries-long development, new city blocks were built on top of old ones, forming levels.
Coruscant has 5127 levels, with the 5127th being the wealthiest and the 1st being the poorest.
Back when I was more man than machine this was one of my favourite places in the galaxy

Unfortunately, yes it does. It contains copyrighted music, so the rights holders get ad revenue. It sucks, but that's the only way I'm able to use any Star Wars music.
I hear ad blockers are nice companions to this channel, though. And I do offer music-less audio loops guaranteed to be free of ads ;)

I’d love to hear one that doesn’t take place in a planet, but in the dark side of the force itself. The sort of thing you’d hear in the force as it consumes you in rage. Personally I imagine hearing force lightning, and rumbling matter mixed with ghostly whispers and screams of those that had fell to the darkside.

"In todays transmission,the Jedi temple has been attacked,and thousands of jedi have been killed. Last night the jedi temple was invaded by the republics 501st clone battalion,witnesses say was led by a dark hooded figure before disappearing into the temple,attempts to investigate the temple after the attack have been so far met with hostility. Along with this,it has been reported that the jedi have committed high treason and are being hunted down and terminated. With a majority of the jedi council leading sieges in the outer rim or presumed dead there has been no word from an official jedi source as to why the 501st in specific were used to raid the temple. A report directly from the senate has stated that Jedi master Anakin Skywalker, has died. The official report suggests he was killed trying to defend a group of younglings from the hooded figure,but was yielded and executed by 501st troopers. A new senate hearing will be taking place today on what will be done with the treacherous jedi,as well as a personal hearing from Chancellor Palpatine who during the night of the attack was viciously attacked and injured by Jedi master Mace Windu. He was only stopped due to the coruscant guard and executed on sight. This has been coruscant news and more updates will come soon."

One thing I might suggest for the future is mixing up the starships a little... after watching for just a few moments, I noticed all the ships looked the same and I couldn't unsee it. You want the visuals to reward the observant person instead of punishing them :) Reward the person who is taking a break from their work and just staring at the video, getting lost in Coruscant, admiring all the little details they hadn't noticed before...
There are little details scattered throughout, and nothing is on a loop or anything. But I get what you're saying. Ultimately, what I'm going for with these visuals is an animated painting feel. I don't want to go overboard on the video aspect, but I don't want a still image. For the ships, I took a lot of inspiration from Coruscant in the movies. If you watch the prequels, a lot of the larger ships look similar, which makes sense considering the assembly line feel the planet has. So that was my thought process for much of this one.
