This is a great fight - congrats! One thing that's missing though in the commentary is how clutch Kamura Wand is. Trying to do this with a 5ATB Mythril Rod and no PATK up is a real beast. Kamura basically makes up for the Arcanum AND gives you that mdef high at the level you have it. I wish I had it and am building up Angeal's PDEF equivalent now for fights like this.
This fight has been absolutely kicking my ass. My Leviathan isn't close to maxed (Lv. 6) and water is my one big weak point. I've been trying to get Leviathan leveled (EX2 is cleared), but getting enough memories takes so much stamina and time, even fishing for cactuars. I've also got Angeal on stamp 11/12 (sigh) for his Waterblade Arcanum. Need 1100 more blue crystals to finish the sheet but I'm not sure I'll get there before the event ends.

But can you do it without a kamura wand???? That's the struggle man, finding guides that don't use kamura wand.
If my DPS was stronger I would see using Mythril rod OB6 since it raises both Mdef and Pdef 2 tiers.
So depending on your DPS that could work.
