Great video and super informative. One thing: i am not sure that you can subtract 1'' (unsprung) to compensate for the difference in unsprung spring lenght of 8'' to 9''. That 1'' that you subtracted first needs to be compressed and then subtracted. Given, it will still be close, but if we are splitting tenths of a turn then this would be more accurate.
But we’re taking compressed length into acct, then just taking that 1” away. With as close as the corner weights and ride heights were its good enough.
what is the length of the Hypercoils on the front? i have a similar weight for my street car, but i think i have 8" length springs and my friends recommend 14" springs. what do you think? great video💪
@@ajhartmanaero would you recommend the 14" hypercoils for my car which will primarily see street driving? i have a 95 mustang that i swapped the 99 cobra IRS into and i have the same maximum motorsports set-up as you with their k member. thanks

What fuel load do you balance with? My theory is empty, so its more rear biased when full and the car will become more balanced as it burns fuel.
Chris Bouchard I was close to a half tank. Since my tank is centered over the rear the fuel load shouldn’t really change the cross weight much at all.

Ever thought of going SLA/Double A-Arm in the front?
Also put painters tape on thread of the shocks so you dont get dirt on the threads, because the spring adjusters could get stuck.
