Loved this video, but so confused at the many times that Callum didn't swap out of Hunter when it only had a little bit of HP left. I am not sure why you would care about switch advantage or something like that when your whole team is all the same typing. 22:40 is an example of how haunter could've caught the charge move instead of ghastly perhaps?
The thing with running a team like this is that there aren't really "right" or "wrong" ways to play out match-ups. What seems like a smart play can quickly backfire with the lack of bulk & lack of coverage across the team. I could have caught the double resisted move, the opponent could have then swapped in Greninja & outpaced me to a night slash, either forced my final shield or take me out, then I've got an ice punch loaded on Haunter but it's not doing much against Greninja & I've got a Gastly that's gonna be severely outpaced. Unless I had a really positive lead or a significant energy advantage it was always gonna be a very difficult task to beat Greninja teams with this team.
Glad to see this team run into bulky Dark-types like Guzzlord and Obstagoon. Confirms that I'm not the unluckiest player in the world who would run into one if I ran a Shadow Ghastly team.
Funny for haunter & gengar I hear people say they got similar stats & perform similar in great league & I still feel a bit confused how They are interesting duo there
