Soooo very pretty!! Thank you for letting us see the ups and downs of card making!! I think "angst" is my word too!! I am currently in the throes of my Christmas cards, and there ARE times...😋
Hi Nikki, Yes there are! I generally don't edit out too many oops moments because I like to let people know that everyone makes mistakes and some of them ar quite recoverable. Thanks for watching. Linda B.
Beautiful card I love it. I have put tape on before also and wanted to use dimensional's one thing you can do to stop the tape from sticking is use your embossing buddy on it. The powder will keep it from sticking ...
When I glue vellum to a card, I use adhesive sheets or make a puddle of glue and dab it all over my card with a sponge. That way its the same good look on the front side of the vellum. Be sure to get it even and if your glue is real thick, add a drop or two of water.
This is a beautiful card, and I hope to case it soon. One tip I can give you about washi tape is to use the hard plastic bread bag ties that comes on a loaf of bread to make an end for the washi tape to rest on. Then akll you have to do is to just pick up the plastic tie to find your place on the washi tape. I save every plastic bread tie that comes my way!
Hi Linda, I love this Card! I'm still learning and I have a question. Do you use basic card stock for the inside sentiment? I'm curious, because I don't want it to be too thick. I know I'm a few years late in viewing the video but I hope you can answer My question. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous card. Happy Holidays to You and Yours!
Hi BevAnn, I did use cardstock for the inside of the card. I do know that some people use just a cut Heavy duty copy paper I think either will work just fine. Thanks for watching.

Hi Marty, Thank you great suggestion! Thanks for watching. Linda B.
What a beautiful card. Yes I am guilty of putting tape on the back when I wanted to raise the layer. I dust the glue with my antistatic bag or talc

Hi Bettye, I have used that technique before, it didn’t work that well with the embossed vellum on this one. Thanks for watching! Linda B.

What's the name of that embossing
Folder?
It is retired now, but was called Woodland
Clever to keep the finished card in view. It helps a lot.
Beautiful Card. I might be able to make it. Thank you.
Hi Debbie, Thank you. I hope you give it a try. Let me know if I can help. Thanks for watching. Linda B.
