Honestly, Shaina and Shayne are perfect for one another. Right down to the gaslighting.
This guy’s temperament is amazing! I love how he literally never got angry, and always kept a positive attitude. He was so understanding and polite even after being left alone in Mexico, badgered by her family, etc. Hoping for the best for him!
The irony of him visiting her family. For being "Godly", they are the rudest, unloving, judgmental people. And they're sitting in judgment of him? I was cracking up. I'm sure she was attracted to Shaynes bible study 😆

Jessica was messy but I feel like she’s 100 times better than Shaina after watching season 2 😂. It’s an insult to Jessica to say Shaina is Jessica of this season lol. There’s something dark and mean spirited about her, the way she lied, behaved, looked down on people, talked about people and not to mention I could almost hear her saying it on the show a few times that she’s just plain racist when she shitted on Shayne and Natalie’s relationship thinking they’re fraud and comical. What was the reasons for that disgusting comment about others?
Agree. Jessica was motivated by pain and Shayna is motivated by pride and anger.
She was not racist. Natalie and Shane have nothing in common. Natalie is emotionally detached, sarcastic and robotic while Shane is affectionate, emotional and goofy. They are complete opposites and that as the only thing I agree with Shaina about. I think shaina would have matched well with Shane. Its about chemistry. Lauren and Cameron had good chemistry that's why everyone saw them as the perfect couple. Natalie and Shaina are just a bad match. Race has nothing to do with any of this.
@@Joseph-zd7kg Shayne talked about Natalie in the lounge all the time and never mentioned about Shayna according to Kyle. That’s one of the reason he didn’t even think Shayne could be a threat. What makes you think there is no chemistry between N and S. Shayne gave Shaina direct “No” at least twice, once in pods and once at the beach party. Obviously he was not into Shaina.

To be honest Jessica wasn't thar bad. She had wanted to leave the show back in Mexico and the producers wouldn't let her. She kept getting drunk, which was a horrible decision on her part.
HOWEVER, she owned up to her mistakes and genuinely apologized more than once. I respect that. She's engaged now and happy with her life.
I did not think Shaina would be enough of a well rounded and insightful person for Kyle. Although she speaks about spirituality she seems self absorbed. Kyle deserves a great lady.

the show would be great if they had a couples therapist as part of the format. to explore the current issues, and where they may stem from. Nick/Danielle- both say they are empaths/empathic, maybe exhibiting the negative side of mirroring, but they seem to really have some deep issues to deal with, how to communicate etc. probably in the end waaay to different too even without the issues.
I think she have a lying issue she’s telling the guy she doesn’t want to marry him because of religious purpose but then she say because she’s in love with the other guy so which one is true make up your mind girl

I don’t know if she loved Kyle, but in the moment, she was hoping that she could possibly change his mind. I think once she was really able to think of their future, she realized she couldn’t compromise herself for happiness and raising kids. It’s hard to understand but, her mother’s interview said it all.
I found it really hot how confident he was and how he was all in, ready to try it.
Kyle seems like a great guy. He's just being open minded. He was genuine throughout. Shaina had a lot of red flags.

He was in denial and trying to force something he knew wasn't going to work for the sake of the show. Her words, actions, body language and everything said she didn't want the relationship and he ignored all the gigantic red flags for ... what reason? She could have been honest enough not to agree to an engagement in the first place, being as her faith is so important to her.

He missed every single obvious red flag with Shaina.
They should have called the show Kyle is Blind.

@@lkez2 after last season, it came out that the producers stopped the wine lady (sorry forget her name) from leaving. They kept telling her to trust the process. They knew Mark was cheating on her as well. All the couples were pushed by producers to go all the way to the end..
Now this season, Shaina leaves the show but they don't let her go. They tell him to go to her family's home.
It's not fully scripted but the cast are clearly being produced (manipulated)

@@lukystarrk4life Yup it's the choice to stay or leave. They leave. Producers encourage them to comeback and end their story or trust the process. It happens with every reality show. You actually start to feel like the producer is your friend and has your best interest at heart. That's their literal job description on reality shows like these.

I have no idea why he was pushing for this train wreck. This show is very dangerous for men like Kyle who seem to walk about with their heart open and eyes closed. He would have married a dishonest messy woman who would have have divorced him for half. Why take this risk?!
Not all women are like her and some are genuinely looking for love. A lot of men are willing to overlook these type of women because physically they might not be their type. He probably was willing to overlook all the red flags because he has a thing for blondes.
Kyle did say they had a good time going back homes so they decided to continue the relationship together. He didn’t know about Shayne situation until now watching the show himself. It’s not like Kyle knew her heart was set on Shayne. Not like Jessica who mentioned about Barnet all the time with Mark. Shaina didn’t give him a hint that Shayne was in the picture. Plus, Kyle also said that Shayne was talking about Natalie all the time in the lounge. He didn’t even think Shayne had a feeling for Shaina.

I think Kyle is a guy who never thought he could get someone out of his league. He mentions it a little after they first meet. He was kind of star struck. He still seems like a sweet guy and wish him the best.

I was surprised at how interesting this show has been. I do not find reality shows engrossing. The idea of the pods is really good. All of the participants are individuals who long to find someone that loves them. They all have been looking and are frustrated and eager to connect. And that's the danger, the danger of connecting with the very wrong person.

A lot of religious people (from all faiths) are more wild before they get married but they want their faith & religion to be an important part of their married & home life with their kids, I think that’s normal. That being said, I can’t really picture Shane cracking open a bible and doing prayers with the family at bedtime either.

With regards to Nick and Danielle I genuinely think they didn’t show the good moments, if she was actually so insecure she wouldn’t be able to make a connection in the pods either. Also, Nick is a gossip queen which I love and probs likes that Danielle keeps a lil toxic. I just wish people would stop advising Nick to run for the hills because it would only aggravate whatever issues she has.
Their connection seemed beautiful and I’m glad they married, not like any of us is without issues they’re just not displayed in a high pressure situation on a hit Netflix show.

I agree. Shayna contradicted herself and that was the issue. She was so "religious when it came to Kyle but when it came to shayne, no one conversation of God, and her behavior during the Pods and after the pods does not show how important God is in her life.
They remind me of that couple last season with the woman who would switch up her voice from normal to annoying. I can't remember their names... but the one who was in love with another cast member, but settled on another guy - which is basically the same situation here.

I am a Christian and I did not agree at all with Shaina using religion to push him away after she realized she wanted Shayne. Didn't make sense like if you want to be equally yoked you'd think she'd push away Shayne too. Her and Shayne hardly talked about faith. She needs to really consider her relationship with God. Not everyone who says their christian or this and that is really what they say they are. Her actions spoke louder. It sadly it turns away people from the faith.

I think Kyle is not a victim. He knew she was not interested when she left him alone in Mexico playing the religious card. Why he decided to continue to pursue her after that? My intuition tells me that he was smitten just because she was blonde and hot, not because her personality. He said she was way out of his league and her “ I don’t care about you” was very clear. He got what he deserved. I still think he is a nice guy and he was lucky that she didn’t want him.
Shaina is terrible. But he’s not that great either. He knew she didn’t want him and kept trying to just add more and more pressure. I’m not sure why.

Although, I strongly definitely dislike the type of person Shaina is, Kyle shouldn’t just get a free pass here. She barely said yes to his proposal. She acted awkward when they first saw each other. She wanted to sleep in separate beds, and when he gave the slightest objection she literally left him by himself at the resort. That was enough right there for any man to know she wasn’t that into you. He was kind of a simp throughout the process tbh. A really nice guy don’t get me wrong, but the signs were there from the beginning.

No one really cares about the religious aspect, especially since everything about her screams anti-religion. That was just her way out.

My sister met a guy when she was traveling. They moved in together once they found a tiny apartment. They called my parents and said that they were going to get married in one month. My parents told them that they would travel to France from Canada if they waited three months. They waited. They have been married for 35 years! I guess some people know.
We don't see 100% of what happened. We only see an edited version of all what happened
No I didn't think she was just doing for the show. She explained her feelings to Shane in the pods finally. I think she was just conflicted because she had feelings for 2 different ppl. But her number 1 was Shane....he said no essentially. So she thought should I try with my number 2 pick but it just wasn't right...she could feel it. I respect her for being true to herself and ending it. Just wish she didn't call Natalie and Shane's relationship a fraud.
