I buy Tata Nexon XZA Dark edition 2 months back. XUV 300 is more cost less features. But Nexon is more features in low cost. Some people always complain about Nexon wide pillers.but they missed that pillers are the safety in any accident. It's a plus point. No problem in visibility.
I love both 5 star rated cars...my Nixon diesel give mileage of 24.9-25.9 kmpl.... I am stating this mileage less by 2kmpl as shown on screen ...last time I remember it was 28 kmpl on screen with less load..on full load it gives me around 23kmpl
There is a strong reason why Tata Nexon is selling 10000+ units every month. This is a good review, but people are finding Nexon better than XUV 300. XUV 300 is hardly selling for 3000 Units only per month. Design wise XUV is confusing, front has squarish lines but rear one is round and flowerish, side profile is boxy design, no one can make out any theme out of it. nexon has more eye catching symmetry and coupe like design language seamless from front to back.
Features only in nexon : Rear ac vent, arrow twin wiper, harman speakers, more boot space, more ground clearance, umbrella holder, driving modes, cooled glove box, fully digital instrument cluster, dual function LED DRLs and turn indicators. I have driven both in Petrol and Diesel with Manual transmission. XUV Petrol AMT too have driven. Simple answer to this confusion is : in Lower Variants Nexon, in higher variants XUV 300.

I own Creta 1.6D but liked it even more when I drove. In this segment Ecosport used to be my favorite crossover, due to its drive dynamics but, with that gone XUV300 is really very close. Nexon is a very good car too. It has space, good ride quality, pickup and very comfortable seats. But, the huge turn downs are thick A and C pillar( blocks visibility), MID has a stick in it like old cars, rear door windows are small which makes uncomfortable, plus read handrests are not sufficient. Gearbox is slightly notchy (XUV has longer throws but was smooth), hornpad is hard at center - you will have to press at the corners of steering wheel. Nexon is well loaded even in lower variants and offers a good value for money for what it offers, that's why I said in lower variants - Nexon, Higher variants - XUV 300

XUV 300 (D) has a powerful engine. It will give us a fun to drive experience. Over taking in highway by XUV 300 is really fun. After 2 months clear study I bought XUV300 W8(O) D manual. I am really very happy. Driving in city and even in high way is amazing. Corner stability is super. Very easy gare shift and. easy clutch. Because of the all 4 wheal disc breaks we get amazing braking. XUV300 has a lots of futures and super Safety too. If you want to drive an international standard SUV in 15.5L (top end diesel on road) go to XUV300 W8(O) without any hesitation. If your budget is low go for W6.

So what I'm trying to say its not going to be part of your journey. And one last thing 3)In long run if any issue arises with gasket then it would be only a dust entering door. (higher maintenance) Still if you considering this for children then it's okay afterall we earn and work hard for them only.

xuv300 looks and feels like a proper suv unlike nexon that is more of a crossover with a high ground clearence, less space more body role compared to xuv. xuv300 engine is more peppy and performance oriented( both petrol an diesel )unlike nexon which struggles at low end torque specially in the hills and has more turbo lag as compared to xuv. xuv kerb weight is more making it more stable on highways also overall safety ratings is also more then nexon. even the interior of xuv300 is better then nexon. nexon dashboard looks so cheap also there are fit and finish issues with nexon.

xuv300 looks and feels like a proper suv unlike nexon that is more of a crossover with a high ground clearence, less space more body role compared to xuv. xuv300 engine is more peppy and performance oriented( both petrol an diesel )unlike nexon which struggles at low end torque specially in the hills and has more turbo lag as compared to xuv. xuv kerb weight is more making it more stable on highways also overall safety ratings is also more then nexon. even the interior of xuv300 is better then nexon. nexon dashboard looks so cheap also there are fit and finish issues with nexon.
