The best feature imo is cruise control. It pretty much drives on its own. We just got one for my mom from Dallas and I drove it back to Kentucky entirely on cruise control. I did not control anything the entire time except for when we needed to take gas stops. Oh also the V6 has amazing gas mileage for a suv that size
Love it! I recently became a Jeep (WJ) owner so I am a fan, especially with the changes they seem to be making, so would definitely look to get this in a couple of years
I have over 15 TH-cam videos to choose from on the release of the new jeep suv. The only one I need to watch is the raiti’s ride review. Keep up the amazing and exciting work. Cheers.
I was a little mad because of the new thinner headlights but now that I see it on a review it doesn't bother me anymore. I think this is a fenomenal SUV and the price is not that bad. I mean yes it is almost 60k but you get a lot of bang for your money. Great review Joe!! Thank you Lori!!
Amazing vehicle!!! Jeep Grand Cherokee L is unique. Only vehicle to offer a V8 option and great off road capabilities. Thanks for bringing us this review. Well done!!! Glad to see you are able to bring reviews from press events. Proud of guys!!!
The Grand Cherokee's interior has always been competitive. I'd put my 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland's interior up against literally any 2014 Mercedes, Audi, or BMW in material and overall build quality.
GM, and Ford will have to step up their game to compete with this thing. The interior alone is way ahead of the competition. Jeep is not cutting corners on the Cherokee L. That U connect is sweet. GM, and Ford can't compare.
Mopar interior are always next level on their higher models just look at the truck segment it took GM and ford 5 years to even come close to catching up
@@frostgodx finally someone who realizes the truth. the ram 1500 2 years in a row number one in reliability tied with tundra. and the interior that Ford and Chevy couldn't touch.. and the fact of the trucks are still discounted to this day makes it an easy choice
I like how the infotainment system looks built in instead of sticking up above the dash however it seems a little too low. I would have to sit in it to be sure, but it seems you would have to look down to see it.
yes there's no worst styling cue than sticking a big stupid tablet in the center of the dash. and in the explorer the huge tablet becomes a three and a half by three and a half inch backup camera display that you have to squint to see. not to mention a glitchy infotainment system that's plagued all ford cars
I understand that you don't like the look of the lower mounted rear wiper; but have you ever taken a good look at how well the top mounted versions work? Not very well. Without the wiper mounted at the bottom to "catch" the spray, they don't clean well. The washer fluid runs off before it can be spread across the glass. There's a reason Toyota went back to a lower mount on the Sienna after trying it up top for a few years.
Joe & Lori, congrats on making the press event for Jeep and everybody else recently! I took your advice on the 2020 Honda Accord 2.0 MT6 and LOVE IT, definitely following the Jeep L closely also!
I think 58k for the v8 sounds pretty good. This two tone black and white exterior is just beautiful and i would right away get the 21' wheels. That's it, it would be the perfect SUV..
I love the Jeep, but I love you too 😉. Anyhoo, I was randomly given an overland trim grand Cherokee at a rental counter several years ago and was able to keep it for an entire week. I was totally impressed with the ride and materials quality. It had the air ride suspension. I love a more squared off body style and the ride height that was offered. Previously I had mostly driven luxury vehicles such as lexus and infiniti. With that being said this generation looks even more impressive inside and out. I just don't know if I can afford the trim I like.
For 58k, they could of wrapped the sides of the center console with leather or something.. beautiful vehicle but attention to detail matters too sometimes
The Grand Cherokee's interior has always been competitive. I'd put my 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland's interior up against literally any 2014 Mercedes, Audi, or BMW in material and overall build quality.
I loved this SUV from Jeep. Is it worth buying Jeep for city drive only (no off-roading or towing )? I am looking for a 3 row SUV with 7/8 seater combination (2 + 3 + 2/3). Is overland model overpriced?
Why replace what was never broken? I always thought that the corporate standard windows switches they used pretty much across the board at RAM/Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler from 2010-2020 were top-notch, easy to use, no-frills but felt great, and super reliable/durable.
Went by and saw this at the Jeep Dealership today. As an owner of a 2015 JGC Summit I don't like 1. the front end styling and 2. the length. To me it went from mid-size SUV to almost Tahoe length. Fit and finish in the car are fantastic. I liked the Overland and Summit versions, but even the Limited was fairly nice. Just didn't do it for me yet. Maybe it will all grow on me.
Joe, did you notice that the top door indent doesn’t line up exactly with the front panel indent, they’re uneven. (Pause at 4:01) maybe even the front door indent with the back door indent no being lined up either. That would bug me if I am spending this type of money on a vehicle.
The new Grand Cherokee blows its competitors out of the water. It’s a true off-road vehicle, rear wheel drive bias, V8 option, and top trims compete closely with the European offerings. Jeep did a great job with the redesign but it’s still a Chrysler product so I’m still hesitant about their reliability.
This kills the wagoneer in styling, I don't see that truck selling well when you can get almost the same amount of Luxury out of this for almost half the price. with a not-so-minivan look. Great review I always enjoy them
Been going back and forth between the Aviator and Telluride... trying to decide for months now... this throws another wrench in the decision making. What do you think?
There’s a lot of content in this vehicle. The body panel gaps are atrocious though for a modern vehicle. I still feel that this will start to fall apart after warranty but before the loan is paid.
You should also tell your viewers that Stellantis dismantled the "SRT division" they moved the engineers to other parts of the company, future SRT models seem unlikely as the move to electrify

well damn its a Jeep not a GT3. But yea i noticed that too. Not a big deal thats not where this thing plays.
