I had 2 wonderful weeks with the sweetest woman in the world back in 1985...and it was in Marina Del Ray. Her name was Charlene, a school principal, and was the purest soul that ever lived. I was there on business and then returned home to the East. Most regrettable thing I ever did...not changing my life back East so I could have stayed with her. Days and nights in her breezy little apartment in Marina Del Ray...memories I'll cherish forever. RIP sweet Charlene.
Been a fan of King George for over 40 yrs. Today's artists need to take some tips from a real Texas cowboy. A favorite tune. Would have loved to been there.
Great song, simple, honest performance by a very engaging man. Tim did it justice too, I thought. And George did too, going by the expression on his face as Tim finished up.
When my ex-husband and I split up we decided to meet where our first date was and talk at the same park. We layed on the blanket and everything i had in me knew it was over. We left soon after. As i was behind him in my vehicle this song was playing...we always listened to the same channel, that's when i saw him hit his sterring wheel with his fist. I made my turn right towards the mountains home as he proceeded ahead in the city. I knew he was cheating on me and the proof came months later when he got engaged to her. Everytime i hear this song...😢
So sad to hear that people just blow love away. She was only 44 when she drew her last breath from a lengthy battle with cancer. I never left her side. I can't come back from the loss, its just too devastating.
@@donnieweeks8690 so sorry to hear this. I've been divorced a few times and that was enough loss for me. Can't imagine the love of your life taken. It hurts hard no doubt. I had to get in my car and just drive trying to run from it. Take time to breath and be good to yourself. Take trips. She would want you you to be happy. ♥
Chance encounters.....memories for a lifetime.... this song speaks to so many of us...
