Please consider supporting my TH-cam Channel. There are 2 ways to do this:
    1. Use the 'Thanks' Button - Click on the three dots button below the video … Click on 'Thanks' and donate a small amount to help cover my costs. (You will need to be logged in to TH-cam to do this).
    2. Via Paypal: paypal.me/fishingwithden?country.x=AU&locale.x=en_AU
I pay for all my cameras and audio equipment plus other expenses myself. So if you like my Channel, please help me to keep it going.
It doesn't matter how much and you certainly don't have to feel obliged to do it, but it all helps to keep the Channel running.

Hi Den, this idea is becoming quite popular at the moment. I use Guru feeders and cut a slot along the tops to allow changing sizes without stripping down. The slot also allows the line to be held in place with a short length of sleeving over the hook length and the line is free to move through the sleeving. Works for me.

The Guru method feeders already have a clip that you can buy separately and clip them onto your feeders, but I think its great that you are able to come up with your own design and make your own method feeders. Top marks.

Den, The Guru underwater film showed that the 2" hook length didn't work as you predicted. Also wafter rather than pop up was used. The film showed that with stony bottom the feeder could be at an angle and the hookbait fell to one side; your clip would prevent this. Off to the Patent shop for you now!

Hi Den, I recon it will not be long before we see the manufacturers copy your idea... it is a fantastic idea, you should have patented the method feeder line clip, you would have made a few quid, bet we see these this year in the UK. Good thinking Den, thanks for the video.

    • @FishingwithDen

That's a great improvement mate and if you want pop ups get yourself a bag of cork dust and make a one egg mix by adding 2-3mm of fish oil and if you can get it a couple of drops of n-butyric acid (it's a feed inducer) and flavour of your choice (but always add a drop or two more as you'll be amazed how much you'll lose while cooking) to the egg and mix then get a few handfuls of your favoured dry ground bait mix and add what you think is enough of the cork dust to ground bait and add it slowly to the egg till you form a firm ish paste then brake a bit off roll between your palms and drop it in some water and see how it dose as you can always roll it out flats and sprinkle more cork dust and give it a good need in by hand and try again and when you've got it how you want it bring a saucepan of water to the boil then down to a rolling boil and Cook the Boilies for about 30-40 seconds if there under 10mm and about a minute and half for 10-15mm or till you think there the right texture when squeezed between the fingers
