Yes. I had to record video answers for a recent job application. It’s the newest recruiting tool. This allows anyone who is part of the hiring committee to view your recorded answers and then provide feedback on you as a candidate.
So interesting-now that I’m actively applying to more positions I’m noticing the trend. It’s not my ideal form of interviewing, but I understand why they do it.

Next is the California Bar Exam. 😳 I appreciate your honest presentation of life as law student, bar applicant, and law clerk. I did my time as a law clerk and learned to be a litigator. My legal internships and law clerk job provided me with invaluable experience. I am wishing you all the best and will continue to watch your journey. I’m so excited for you! 😊 I hope you get the job! May I ask how you studied finance and securities while in law school? Did you take classes and/or do internships? I’m currently a law student but would like to get into the legal/compliance area in finance.
thank you!! and I took a classes that aligned with a financial services legal/compliance career path--for example: securities law, corporate finance, private funds, & regulatory compliance for broker-dealers. I also had an internship in the legal/compliance department at an international investment adviser during my 2L summer until my 3L spring semester where I learned a lot. After the bar exam, I studied for the FINRA SIE exam which gave me a basic overview of securities and how the industry works. I'd recommend doing all of the above if you can! It'll definitely help you decide if it's the right path & will set you up with a great post-grad resume :) good luck to you!

When a judge goes off the grid all of a sudden, it can mean he's in trouble aka someone bad might be coming after him and he's fearing for his safety 😢😢😢 I hope he's okay and I hope everything with your pro bono hours works out!!!
