- I was asked if I had some advice for someone who works seven 12-hour shifts in a row. I go over some important things you need to keep in mind working this many shifts in a row. FYI, I've worked this schedule many times.

I love my 16-hour shifts because I can immediately go to bed due to working a long day 🤣🤣 . Two 16-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift every week is the way to go!
I agree. They are definitely the best. th-cam.com/users/shortsq9uca69TcBE
Nice
NO THANK YOU. That life sucked for me last year. I gained ton of weight. I ate like crap from all the pot lucks and late night TO GO orders done by the "sitters" . Finally quit that job. Reset my self for 6 months. lost 30 lbs. Most importantly, got my sanity back.
Now I'm set up for Part time / 12 hour shifts every other weekends. WORK / LIFE BALANCE is Truly Priceless.
Hey JT, absolutely you have to find a schedule that works best for you. Glad things are going better.
the most i've ever done was 6 days straight - i was a zombie after
I’m doing 7 days in a row (12 hr shifts, all of them), 1 day off, 1 day on, 1 day off, 2 days on. Someone send help. I’m on day 6 and genuinely want to die
That's tough! Hang in there.
Was living that life last year in a Level 1 Trauma Center on NOC shift. You're too Exhausted to actually start "LIVING and Enjoying your money". Grateful to cut down to Part time / 12 hour shifts. WORK / LIFE BALANCE is a Gift you owe to yourself.
I am doing 12 hours x 12 shifts every two weeks. It’s duablr
I agree it's doable...but it sucks!

@@NurseMoneyTalk okay thank you! You give great nurse content keep up the great work!
Thank you for the kind words. As an FYI, if you're in a traditional program (not online) reach out the instructors to see if they know people (many times former students, or upper class students) who are tutoring.
@@NurseMoneyTalk thank you!!🙏🏽🙏🏽
I am out!
