Tuomas pretty much comes with a detailed demo he presents to the rest of Nightwish, but he is open for other members' suggestions for changes. Floor has done some changes and additions to Tarja and Anette era songs and to my mind made the songs even better. Every member is an expert on his own instrument. Of course you have to give them some freedom. But Tuomas has the right to exercise his veto. But I don't think Nightwish would have such a good chemistry if he said no, no, no all the time.
Risto When you hear Tarja's version and now how Floor sings it. It is literally llike a completely different song. Floor added so much interpretation and melodic vocals herself. And she raised this song to a a higher dimension and level. Same as what Floor did with Ghost love score. For instance that famous Wacken 2013 ending is completely different from Tarja's ending. It is 100% Floor who changed that not Tuomas. When Floor sang it like that for the first time during rehearsals Tuomas just said 'Yes!!!'.

What's interesting about this performance is that Tuomas and Empuu are the only original members left from this time period and yet they owned this song las if they all recorded it yesterday. They are all amazing musicians. Floor a Goddess, Marko a Viking, Emppu being Emppu (have you noticed this is a no solo song, he doesn't need to show off his skills, he gives exactly as much as the song needs, no more and no less0, Tuomas is a living legend and genius, Kai a walking human metronome with 5 hands and separate brain for his feet, Troy a super talented person who gives this special folky vibe. I can't say who is my favourite member of the band, because they are all special and what makes Nightwish so unique is the chemistry between all of them. Great reaction!

This is my favourite song from the Tarja Era, probably in my top 5 of favourite Nightwish songs. Is so beautiful, i would love to have that last verse tattooed.

Well, sorry but Floor does it better, also the stage performance and the soul and passion she put's in the song (songs) that makes Nightwish even better but that's my opinion,if everybody else likes Tarja better it's of course oké but i prefer Floor.

She has a pop technique in her voice which I love so much. But obviously she’s not going full Alissa white gluz on us lol. Tarja has her limits which is totally fine.
